~ A New Era ~ It's time for a new Era for The East Pacific. Often times we've been called the weakest, inactivist, and worsts Pacific in the game Its time to change that. We need to do fundamental things that aren't getting done. We had a time where there was almost no forum activity during the summer. that was during AMOM's term. Going into the summer I have a plan. I will create a council of Ministers to help me with everything from walking my dog to declaring war. I will hold cultural events so activity on our forums increases. A new era is coming to The East Pacific, I can't promise you there won't be hardships, but I can promise you there will be change! We need active Vizers! I'll appoint 2 Vizers that have been in the region for a long time. I also hope to increase the endorsement count from 80 to 100, and the Vizers have 160 nations. The current Delegate has around 240, there is no need for such low endo counts. Its time for change, its time for a new era, are you ready to live in it, are you ready to change, do you want to be called the best pacific? Vote Samuel Kudrow, and see change. A New Era, you can believe in it. |

Should you win the position of delegate, what type of cultural events do you plan on hosting? And, if those don't work, do you have a backup plan? |

But we are the best pacific. What is your opinion on RMB spam? How will you manage the newspaper/organizing updates and ambassadors? What hardships do you believe could be caused by change? |

"We need to do fundamental things that aren't getting done." What are these fundamental things? (1) You've stated you want to increase the endo count to 100. (2) There will be some cultural events. (What events?) (3) And you are going to appoint two more Viziers. Are these the fundamental things or are you referring to other things? What will you do to eliminate nazi adspam? (Note the use of elimination, rather than suppress.) How will you measure the success of your time as delegate? Are there changes or amendments to the Concordat that are needed? How many ministers will be in your Council of Ministers? Other than "dog walker" and "war declarer," what other minister positions would you create? |

1.) Of course we are. 2.)No Nazi, but keep it short, simple and join in the convo. 3.)I'm planning to overhaul the whole system, If elected I'll be getting a group of ministers to help me. I'm hoping at least 2 people will help me with that. 4.)I don't understand that last one, please clarify? |

Cultural events, getting people to the forum, getting an active conclave, getting more Vizers, and Updating the FA. 1.)No 2.)Posted in an above post 3.)Yes. Not sure ATM, I'm thinking about a treaty to stop them but I am going to talk to others first. By how high my approval rating is at the end of each month. Not that I see, though get me on a Friday night in Mibbet and then we'll see. I'm not sure yet. Depends on how many say yes to me. |

What is the most important foreign policy we have or should have? When examining the other feeders, TSP and TNP ar similar, cosmopolitan democracies. Then there's the Pacific and TWP, which are isolated, autocratic oligarchies. Where does TEP fit in? How can we learn from the other GCRs? Edited by Old Federalia, May 29 2013, 11:25:48 AM.

That's it? That's all you have to say? Care to elaborate on denying new UCR embassies? Why is that the MOST important foreign policy? Also, we all know how one person learns from another person, what I meant by learning from other GCRs is WHAT can we learn from them? Specifics... Oh, and you forgot to answer: Where does TEP fit in (with the other feeders)? |

1.) I'm more of a doer, not a talker. 2.) We can learn the best things about them. Like TNP's regional assembly and how its run, their google docs, their Vice Deleagte etc... 3.)It doesn't, we're a class of our own. |

A Major role. One that does things for me, like make my bed, attack nazi scum and bring me coffee. Well the Sinkers one will be mainly about how to promote our affairs with them. As we don't talk very much. The Feeders one will be about promoting activity wthin TEP. |

It's good that you are a doer. Is that the best type of individual for the Delegate position? If you do things alone, stuff may get done, but you will not have engaged other nations in the region. Do you think it is an important part of the Delegate's responsibilities to bring other nations along, mentor them, develop them, create a community that continues to grow and develop? And if so, how will you do that if you are not a talker? |

General Question I will be asking the other Candidates Based on the Concordat, do you believe Viziers should be allowed to serve in different branches of the government? The main reason of the role is regional security but it also puts them in a position where they can become WAD depending on the situation. Depending on your response... If yes: why? If no: what would you do to give that role more things to do? Also to follow up to my previous question that needed clarification. Changes to the system. What hardships could be seen with that? (question to the below quote)

1.) Yes, because just because they are Vizers doesn't mean they can't serve. The Delegate should also be able to be in the Magis, I don't even believe there is a law on that either. So in short, they can be because they don't have that big of a job when danger isn't around. 2.) Well first off change those 2 vizers to one, you were the other person. The Hardships-Adapting to the new system. Basically I'm trying to bring widespread activity with a few changes to how we roll. Like how the conclave isn't in the Magis, if they were, do you think they would be active? Yes, that is the things I'm talking about. |

Yes, there is a "law" against it. It is part of the fundamental structure of our government, separating the Delegate, the Magisterium, and the Conclave. Are you suggesting we should change the Concordat? |

I don't believe there is anything to prevent Viziers from serving in the Conclave or the Magisterium. If one of them were required to assume the Delegate position to deal with a threat, then he or she would have to resign from the Conclave or the Magisterium, if he or she were serving there concurrently with the Vizier position. Some of the other candidates have begun to answer these questions, perhaps you will also: We need 1 or more new Arbiters appointed to the Conclave. Who would you nominate? If you are unwilling to name names, what process would you use to select them? Given existing law and recently passed legislation, who would you select for the following positions (or what process would you use)? (1) Media Officer (2) Tourism Officer (3) Chancellor of the University of the East Pacific |
