The picture is messed up (I got a (-,+) and its displaying it in the 1st quadrant, which is (+,+)) so anyway, I'm just going to post my coordinates. They're (-13,13), so Defender/Regionalist. |

First off, I'd highly advise you to base your vote off more than just these questions.
Absolutely. One example is EPPS, which is strikingly similar to The Praetorian Guard in The Pacific. I personally do not like the idea of it and I'd rather we come up with our own ideas, but sometimes its not a bad thing to imitate successful things people are doing in other regions.
TNP. People view TNP as a playground of the GCRs and 90% of people are there to screw around in the region and set it back. For example, Mall recently got elected to a position in TNP. JAL, someone who has couped the region twice is active there. A Political Party, the Regression Party, advocating the regression in TNP is actually successful there. I would vote TNP because theyve been messed up much longer than any other GCR.
This is a hard one to write about since I do not have a crystal ball, but I would have to guess Cosmopolitans joining our region. As can be seen in the other democratic GCRs, lots of people sign up to become active members of the government. In TNP, we have Tim who is also founder of Spiritus. In Balder and Osiris, there are a ton of Imperialist, such as NES. What has been hurting TEP for such a long time has also saved her - inactivity. Since TEP was so inactive, not many people cared to come here so it was often ignored. However, as activity picks up, more and more people shall come here. With 4 month delegate elections, I can foresee someone whos been here for 3 months running and with newish citizens, they might actually win. More elections leads to a higher chance a couper delegate will be elected. There is no way to really exclude Cosmos without excluding new nations, so ultimately the best solution is to convince them how great TEP is to where they would actually push to make TEP even better than the state it was prior to them joining. This could battled by having an kind active community. If people are so kind to new people in the Magis and such, eventually people will go "Dang, I dont wanna hurt these poor folks" and either resign or act with the interest of the region in mind. Thats my take on what the biggest issue shall be. |

Those are also very good answers. And these questions are an attempt to measure more than the answers themselves. One little follow up, are you saying TNP both would and should be voted out, or just should? |

1) Is your thread Common Sense named after the pamphlet by Thomas Paine? What do you admire about him, if anything, and do you think any of his ideas are particularly applicable to The East Pacific here and now? 2) When did you join/leave the UDL? Are you currently sworn to the pledge of Scarlet? 3) What is your favourite WA proposal of 2013? 4) What is your least favourite WA proposal of 2013? 5) How many treaties is TEP currently bound to, and how sure are you that you will increase this number if elected? |

It is indeed named after the pamphlet. I particularly like Paine's writing styles, and as an American, I especially like what his pamphlet did for the Revolution. In a sense yes, it is applicable because for the first time in a very long while, we will have someone who is either A) New to the EP Delegacy or B) Someone who hasnt been delegate in 4 years. This idea is quite exciting to me and its almost like TEP is experiencing a revolution of its own, having someone other than AMOM or Todd running the region. While we are keeping the government the way it is (besides replacing the delegate), the way the Delegate governs and how TEP handles security will be unlike anything else TEP has experienced before. With the new influence rules, itll be particularly interesting to see how TEP maintains an effective set of Vizers. Much like how Paine helped dawn a new era in America, a new era is beginning here in TEP.
September 2012 ---> January 2013 April 2013 ---> June 2013. I am currently not sworn to the pledge of Scarlet.
This is tough as I have not actively looked at WA proposals since September of 2012... http://www.nationstates.net/page=WA_past_resolutions/council=1?start=232 The one on top probably is.
http://www.nationstates.net/page=WA_past_resolutions/start=345 It was a solid resolution that did not need to be repealed.
Honestly, I cannot think of any. I am certain that I can increase it. As can bee seen here starting on post 50, I've already started the process of a TEP-Balder alliance and I believe I could get one with Osiris, The Rejected Realms and Lazarus with ease. One with TSP would be doable too! EDIT: used "to" instead of "too" Edited by Prussia, Oct 27 2013, 02:50:14 PM.

The Zombies are coming. You have three options: (1) attempt to exterminate zombies with military force, (2) try to research a cure, or (3) totally join forces with the zombies. What is your choice? |

Research a cure. I hope my fellow nations in TEP will choose the same. |

Where were you when the Zombies came? And how did you respond as a potential future leader of TEP? (Yes, this is a little game within the game, but it may be informative to voters.) What did you do during the 30 hours of the Zombie Apocalypse? We know that Todd, AMOM, Drakk, and I (along with a few others) were listed on the WFE as nations leading the effort to find a cure. Some of us spent a lot of those hours launching cure missiles at nations in TEP, trying to cure Zombies. If there were another Zombie Apocalypse during your term as Delegate, what would you do? |

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been preparing for a 5k and it took me a while to find the time to type this up properly.
In NS, sending cure bomb after cure bomb, leveling Hobbes, OF and Tanos zombie supply. As a leader...since AMOM was taking the lead on this, I thought the best thing to do would be to sit back and let him handle it - no need to have too many cooks in the kitchen!
I was searching for cure while also sending cure bombs! As Heronlord can testify, the second the zombie apocalypse started I instantly started researching for the cure. My activity on the RMB during the beginning period of the outbreak shows how active I was.
Do the exact same thing AMOM did, plus my RMB postings. |

Good job, Prussia. Truth be told, I was going to vote for you, but missed the dead line by 2 minutes because I got a call. Of the candidates, only you have actual experience as a delegate and an executive. Better luck next time. |
