On December 28th, the Kingdom of Britain and Ireland's third regional elections began. Nominations were open for Prime Minister and the Parliament. After a slow start, questions were being asked about if anyone was going to stand at all. Regardless, on that same day, George Kensington declared his candidacy for Prime Minister, followed by Richard de Montfort's, the day after. On the 29th and the days that followed up to the 2nd of January, nominations were then put forward by various members for all offices, and the elections where then allowed to begin. The voting period was a tense affair, with electoral candidates constantly swapping positions, until late in the voting stage, that is, at which point the margins between candidates became clear and the winning candidates could easily be predicted. When voting closed, the polls were counted, and the results announced. George Kensington won with 58.3% of the vote to snatch his first term as Prime Minister. Edmund Mikaelson won the Parliamentary elections with 25.5% votes, Tenshi and Aaron Cerebella won with 13.7% and Richard de Montfort and Jonah Devereux received a tie with 11.68% votes which meant a run-off! The run-off between Richard de Montfort and Jonah Devereux was held for 24 hours and the result: Richard de Montfort was the winner with 58.3% votes whilst Jonah lost with 46.7% vote. A close fight! -Edmund Mikaelson Scrambling Royalties ![]() The Kingdom of Britain and Ireland's Royal Family "The royal family is scrambling!" Said King Henry IX. This past few days and the past year, the royal family of the Kingdom of Britain and Ireland started scrambling all over the place. Former KBI Prince of Wales, Nicholas Devereux, disowned his own father, King Henry Devereux IX and was removed from the position, Prince of Wales. After a few days, King Henry IX decided to appoint a new Prince of Wales for the Kingdom of Britain and Ireland, which was Prince William Devereux. But due to the Prince's inactivity, he was then removed as the PoW of KBI. Then again, King Henry IX appointed yet another Prince of Wales for the Kingdom of Britain and Ireland, BUT! This time, a sexy princess was chosen and it was Princess Alice Devereux. Nevertheless, the PoW appointments wasn't not the only royal family issue that has happened. Edmund Mikaelson was officialy adopted by His Majesty, King Henry Devereux IX and became part of the Kingdom of Britain and Ireland's royal family. -Edmund Mikaelson TGBE-KBI Issue: Resolved? ![]() Displayed newspapers in a CERTAIN store. The issue between the Great Britain and Eire and the Kingdom of Britain and Ireland was moderately a hot topic in the monarchy/imperialist regions of NationStates. Recently, the two parties came up with something which will HOPEFULLY, resolve the problem between the two. A private meeting took place in a certain private chat. Only the needed individuals in KBI and TGBE attended the gathering. Most likely, the chosen royalties and important government officials are the ones who attended. The logs in the meeting were posted here and after the meeting, the people who are present in the meeting came up with an idea. An idea which MIGHT just be a good idea for both the two regions. An idea which the two parties have advantages and disadvantages in. If so, then is the TGBE-KBI issue, resolved? -Edmund Mikaelson RPs are UP! ![]() Some photo of roleplay. Not too long ago, the Kingdom of Britain and Ireland's roleplays are back up! Lord Barron started an RP about the country of Britannia up against France and Spain, called 'Medieval Invasion'. Mass sign-ups popped up in the said RP and because of that, other different kinds of RP showed up too. The Kingdom of Britain and Ireland's RP world is slowly reviving with the help of KBI's one and only, Culture Secretary, Tenshi. Let us hope that KBI's RP stay alive and strong. -Edmund Mikaelson |

You withdrew your region's application for an embassy, then insulted TEP. Why you posted in another region's embassy is beyond me. Thankfully, you have been banned. |
