Some have described the events after the election as "drama," of which I am a part. I want to make a few things clear to everyone and settle the matter once and for all so that we may each enjoy TEP again. I personally have taken a break this week, hence my absence from skype.

Antagonism

I had every intention to win the election and lead the region into a glorious new age of enlightenment--so my plan never included bickering with certain players. I felt like they were unjustifiably inferring some sort of condescension from my answers to their questions, something that antagonized me. I responded in like kind after my patience wore out.

However, to now insist that I bare a grudge against anyone, esp. against Ram, is also antagonistic and I responded in like kind. As long as you all treat me with contempt, I will not hesitate to remind you of all the work I have done in comparison to you, nor the fact I have been able to enact my agenda in TEP over the past eight months.

My previous behavior, particularly after losing a previous election to Bach, proves I am of the character to coexist peacefully with any perceived rivals. Indeed, I would describe AMOM and Prussia as rivals, but I have never pursued any sort of revenge against them for opposing any of my ideas. Additionally, my debates with ASBS in the Magisterium never resulted in hurt feelings despite their length and intensity.

If you stop, I stop. Let's deescalate.

Attack Dog

It must be said that I am an attack dog. Bach and I sometimes played good-cop/bad-cop with foreign affairs, myself playing an uncompromising brute. However, this attack dog nature has a flip side, I am loyal to my team. Indeed, I defended Bach's handling of the Defender Act and Juris' spreadsheet while many of you chose to point fingers and lay blame.

This loyalty still extends to Bach. While I don't think he gave me any credit for a plethora of things that were not covered by the designation of Minister of Foreign Affairs, I do not mean to take away from his accomplishments. I think somethings were concurrent accomplishments--he saw problems and I offered solutions. He basks in the reverence you show him, but I am treated as if I think I am better than everyone else.

Superiority

I don't think I am superior to anyone else. Half of you weren't around eight months ago, and the other half had no reason to plan as far into the future as I did. So I simply started thinking about some stuff before you guys did, but now you all have the same ideas. It's not my plan anymore, it's OUR plan.

Example 1:
Tim provided a plan for UTEP which gave training to the EPSA: http://theeastpacific.com/single/?p=8032710&t=5190093
Ram has a forthcoming mentor program, as outlined in his platform.
BGP thinks there isn't anyone to teach the students in the University.

I said the University can be improved if it is conducted by the individual ministers, as an extension of its natural role as Ministry of Information to include the hypothetical Ministry of Labor (I will explain why below) (link explaining the Ministries of Information and of Labor, and of Culture: http://theeastpacific.com/topic/5184431/).

Example 2:
Tim and Xoriet denounced the spreadsheet's inconsistencies, in my platform thread.
Vac wants a friendlier atmosphere for new citizens, as he said in Skype.

I fixed the spreadsheet months ago with the permission of Todd and Tano, including suggesting introduction topics to new citizens so we can all greet them.

I am not bragging, I am trying to find common ground with you all. We are playing for the same team, TEP, and we can only win if we work together. You may not think you need me, but let me explain why you should objectively consider my vision for UTEP.

Pan-Pacifica

Now that an Immigration Service, Ministry of Education and Culture, and Mentor program are all part of the Executive, it is natural to question the existence of the University. Despite however much I insist the University attempted to perform those roles and was integral to those ministries' formation, it doesn't matter today.

While I can't convince you that a UTEP that is more than just a library would help TEP today, I must point out one thing: the Rise of Imperialism. If TEP ignores it, TEP will become imperialist like Balder and Osiris. You may favor imperialism, but I think francoism works best in GCRs and imperialism works best in UCRs. Why? Regionalism verses Cosmopolitanism. Francoism is regionalist and UCR imperialism is regionalist. GCR imperialism is cosmopolitan. Cosmopolitanism devolves government and diplomacy into backroom chats on IRC and Skype, which I think is boring. (I only fight against elements of NS because I think they are boring, not personal grudges or defender morality.)

Thus, TEP should fight imperialism on two fronts: top and bottom.

The TOP is the individual Delegates, who can all decide to hold a grand meeting of all nine delegates: G9 (like the real world G8 meeting of world powers). Possible subjects could be the World Assembly or the Warzones. (Our current treaties with other GCRs all follow the same format and contain nearly all the same terms, so as to demonstrate the shared interests and the possibility of voluntary multilateral cooperation). When the Delegates form this council, they will each insist on being the voice of their region. Thus, the cosmopolitans which make decisions informally will be silenced and forced by their own delegates to pick one main GCR in order to support their Delegate. One way could be WA only Citizenship.

The BOTTOM is the forums. Each forum struggles with inactivity, since each forum must constantly recruit and organize fun activities. Those that do recruit and hold events stay active, but all regions learn from each other, ie: the spread of newspapers. What does my vision for UTEP do? It places the University as the center of recruitment and fun activities. If the many GCR Universities worked together, with TEP leading the way, guides can be shared and inter-regional events planned. A simple lecture circuit could spread ideas (francoist ideas) to all of the GCRs and, more importantly, the GCRs' new recruits. This new "intelligentsia francoista" would work together to keep their regions active and thus independent of imperialists.

I hope you see the logic of targeting the leaders and the people at the same time in different ways. Best part of all? The GCRs working together to have more fun!

My thoughts as well. I suspect we have many more debates in our future.
