Dalimbar has taken the Magister's pledge (LINK).

This thread has been created for Magisters and citizens to ask questions of the prospective Magister.

In accordance to the Public Official Disclosure Act, Nalt created a Public Disclosure Form (LINK).

I've been a Magister before, and post-Empire, have not caused any issues to TEP. I'm interested in working with you and others on drafting good legislation that will benefit TEP.

Also, I'm bored.

As a member of the Magisterium, what legislation do you see as important in moving The East Pacific forward? How would you provide life and activity as a Magister? Also what relevant legislative experience do you have in your storied career in NationStates?

I may have more, but thank the candidate for his thoughtful responses he's sure to provide.

Prussia - I have plenty of regrets in my life. 10 years of playing will do that to a person, and god knows I've tried to leave. But alas, here I am, six years after Empire, which in game terms is an eternity. I'm not going to lie and say I regret that I was one of the leaders of Empire, for I don't. That would be completely disingenuous to you, asker of the question, and to TEP. Were there stupid actions that we did? Sure, such as the declaration of war against all feeders right off the bat (though, really, it did draw everyone's attention to TEP).

I do not regret Empire. For me, it certainly was one of the greatest things to have planned and operated. For others, and after six years I certainly do understand this, there was a lot of hurt. Feeder wars are just that: wars. I have won and lost battles, and I carry on. But, I realize that I'm not a regular person. To those who I directly hurt during Empire, I apologize. To those of you who were never around during Empire and use it as a propaganda tool or a scapegoat, I sincerely remind you it has been six years. Several members have become high ranking officials of TEP, and I think that is a sign of strength in TEP.

Sev - Firstly, I've been looking through the Third Constitutional Convention forum, and there have been a lot of good ideas there. I would like to work with Magisters on reforming the process in which Delegate appointments to the Directorate are handled, for I agree with some of the sentiments that it is not in the best interests of the Directorate to have a potential appointee in limbo while awaiting legislative approval. That being said, under the system, the Magisterium needs oversight over the actions of the members of the Directorate. Provided I am allowed to serve again in the Magisterium, I would like to collaborate with as many Magisters as possible on that and other issues.

Secondly, and this ties into the first, I want to collaborate with others on producing meaningful legislation. If anyone wants me to take a quick skim over their proposals and make edits, I'll be more than willing to do that. Furthermore, I'm interested in working with the Delegate in whatever way I can in the Magisterium. Although I don't have to be a Magister to do this, I'll still help out wherever I can within time constraints here on the forum and on the RMB.

Thirdly, I've held the Speakership in TNP, drafted the KRO constitution in collaboration with many others, was an active legislator in regions where I took special consideration for, such as the Allied States of EuroIslanders, TNP, Osiris, and others. I've been a Magister here before. I may not post much on forums, but, people have and do come to me about legislative proposals, and I work with them to make sure that the proposals are good proposals for the region in question.

To those who are undecided about me (and I realize that many of you are, and that's absolutely fair), I am always willing to answer your questions. Even if it's about random matters.
