Good morning East Pacific! This is Nikolai Adamovich bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, auditions took place last night in Minsk for the first ever Respublika Bielarus Song Contest. A total of 10,000 people auditioned last night and 512 were pitted through. Many different acts were seen and many different languages were used. While this was of course the first audition round, meaning four more remain, people have already realized that this contest will not be an easy one, seeing as that only roughly 5% of all who auditioned made it through. The show will continue tonight after the televised match of Minsk FC and East Bielarus FC.

Turning now to the island of Babyusk, the city of Branislav fell last night as rebels made a final attempt to take the city over. It was reported around midnight that the city had fallen and that soldiers of the Federal Army and Territorial Defense Force was in retreat, while other soldiers were on the way to the front lines to fight near the city. The city was completely leveled as airplanes of the Territorial Defense Force bombed the city. The Minister of Defense promised to march with the soldiers in the swift counter-attack.

Rebels re-attempted to land on the island of Dzyarzhynskaya, but in the end it failed. Soldiers of the Bielarusian First Division held them off from being able to get onto the island, without even suffering a loss. 50 rebel soldiers were killed in the landing, while 40 were reported wounded, and another 20 captured. This is supposed to be the last attempt to attack the island, but the soldiers are not gonna let up their defenses yet.

Tonight a major event will take place at the Minsk National Arena. Minsk FC will face off against East Bielarus FC in a one time only match. Due to the two being part of two different leagues, this is the only time they will ever meet, unless East Bielarus FC goes up to the next level. The stadium has added additional seats due to the total of ticket sales. A total of 147,000 tickets were sold in all. Due to the high demand for security, President Matinova will order the deployment of 1,250 soldiers and 500 members of the Minsk Administrative District National Guard to the stadium to oversee the security of the match, along with the police and security agency.

In other news, it was announced that the University of Minsk was going to expand its campus to include a School of Medicine and a School of Political Science. So far the school has a total of 150,000 students, being the second largest school in the country behind the University of Respublika Bielarus, which has 487,000 students. It is believed that these new schools would increase the number of students by nearly 50% and increase revenue and publicity of the school by 72%.

Our final story for now, Rape victim Tatiana was declared to be stable this morning following an overnight surgery. She has been taken off life support and is now breathing on her own. We talked to her mother, who asked not be named, and she had the following to say, "It will be a tough road ahead no doubt. We wish to thank the people of our country for their prayers and for coming to visit with us during this trying time. Thank you for protesting to get the government to do something about it." Tatiana is expected to make a full recovery and the family of Tatiana will meet with President Matinova on Monday.

Last night, the Constitutional Court declared the results of the snap-election's in Mogilev, Baranovichi, and Brest to be invalid. They cited irregularities in voting and some votes submitted were used under the name of people who are already deceased. The people will once again go to the polls on Tuesday and vote for the same candidate list once more, however there will be more security.

That is all for now, thank you for joining us here! Have a great day!

Good evening East Pacific! This is Sasha Kyobana bringing you the nightly news from Respublika Bielarus!

The match between Minsk FC and East Bielarus FC took place earlier this evening with a record total of 158,274 people in attendance. The game went well with no security issues at all and the fans definitely had fun. We talked to a few who came from all across the country. One said, "Me and my family are definitely East Bielarus FC fans but you know, even though we are, people here in Minsk have been so kind to us and have treated us greatly. So glad both sides can show great respect." The final score was 5-4 giving Minsk FC its second win of the year.

Regarding the war going on, the guns were mostly silent today as most people went to church for worship or are watching the different sporting events on television. The only fighting took place of the island of Babyusk where Bielarusian Federal Troops and Rebels engaged head to head near the city of Branislav. Even though the city has been leveled, rebels have found ways to make defenses and to create hiding areas.

Defenses are being set up once more on the island of Komar. The Prime Minister is overseeing the rebuilding of the islands defenses and they are quick to get to work. A total of 570,258 people are helping in building and placing defensive positions. People of the island are committed to helping build the defenses and even the politicians of the island have gone to work in helping building. Defenses will mostly be done by Friday, but the major ones will be done in two weeks time.

That is all we have for now. We will continue to keep you updated

Hello East Pacific! This is Misha Kolobanov bringing you the nightly news from Respublika Biealrus!

Our top story tonight, the war rages on as soldiers of the First Bielarus Army landed on the island of Babyusk to make the final push against enemy positions on the island. They landed on the island equipped with 50 RB-100's and 100 T-98's. They also arrived with Armored Personnel Carriers and Artillery batteries. Rebels are now wedged in a position to where they are unable to leave the island or break out from any side.

The war has also reached the Minsk Region as RB-100's, T-98's, and Centurion 12's have engaged rebels and BBF forces. The Centurion 12's and the T-98's fought greatly against the enemy Centurion 9's, 10's, and 15's, while the RB-100 was show its defects in combat. The Deputy Minister of Defense was near the front line and told us that the old Centurion's and the T-98's are stronger than the RB-100's, which need modifications. "There was nothing wrong with the old tanks, not a single thing. While I do agree we need more tanks, the RB's have not really had any experience in combat, so this is their training missions I assume." The Bielarusian Army lost 2 Centurion 12's and 1 T-98, while the Rebels lost 55 tanks in total.

President Slava Matinova signed a decree this morning granting 100 billion dollars to go into the construction of more Centurion 12's after seeing how effective they were in the battle near Minsk. The reason for the change to the Centurion is because she was never one to actually agree with the building of the RB-100, but went along with it. She said that she doesn't think the RB is prepared for battle yet, but that the Centurions are. The money for the Centurions actually came out of the 200 billion dollar extension of the RB-100, thus taking away half the extension.

Minister of State Alexei Trukov has returned from the Vitebsk Region after overseeing the preparation of defenses of the region. The Minister will travel to the East islands region to increase the defenses and to the Grodno Region to oversee the rebuilding of defenses in the region as well. Tanks will be deployed to the regions as well to increase the defenses of the regions. Artillery and Air Planes are also being deployed. 75 MiG 17's are being deployed to the region in a show of force against the enemy.

Thank you for joining us here. Have a good night and we will see you in the morning!

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Dima Klitsckhov bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story of the morning, Centurion 12's and RB-100's are engaged in a fight against Centurion 9's, 10's, 15's and T-59's near the city of Mogilev. The Battle, which has been coined by people as the Battle of Mogilev Heights due to it taking place near ridges, began around midnight last night when Centurion 12's spotted a massive movement of tanks near the city. The battle is considered to be caught in a dead lock right now and Mogilev Territorial Force T-98's and Centurion 12's are on the way to the front lines to aid their fellow comrades. MiG 17's are also being deployed to attack positions and provide recon.

Rebel Soldiers landed on the East Island Region of Lahoysk and marched straight into its capital of Kletsk. This is the first major victory for the rebels seeing as this is the first territory it has taken over. Though there was not many troops defending the island, it is still a blow to our countries military and territory. President Matinova has promised swift action to retake the islands at once due to its importance to the country. "Lahoysk is more than just an island, it was the place where our country was truly born. During the War for Independence, our people and soldiers went to this island and this was our main battle ground. This was our first territory and we will fight to return it to our country." The President ordered for the Navy and Air Force to bomb the islands and take over the island once more.

An earthquake struck outside the city of Baranovichi early this morning destroying nearly half the city. Presidential Councillor of Emergency Situations has traveled to the region and will inspect the disaster. So far 500 people have been reported as killed. Baranovichi hasn't seen an earthquake in nearly 200 years, even though it sits on a fault zone. Prime Minister Nigmatulin ordered for soldiers to be deployed there, while the President of Brest Region ordered for the Territorial Defense Force to be deployed there. An investigation into the Bielarus Earthquake Geological Survey to find out whether or not here was any pre-warning.

Prime Minister Nigmatulin has completed her travel of the Western Island Chain and has approved of defensive structures being built there. She oversaw the first arrival of soldiers on the islands as well, and then returned to the mainland. Upon return, she visited Rape victim Tatiana and her family and informed them that they have the people who they believed did it in custody. She couldn't go into many details but she did say that five were arrested in all, which connects to Tatiana's story.

The Minister of Defense approved of a 125 billion dollar project that will increase production of Centurion 15's and 16's and will being the unveiling of the Centurion 17 in the following year. The numbering of the Centurion is for the year that it was made, seeing as each year a new expansion is added to it. Though, some tanks, even though older in year, are stronger than those newer in year.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us at Respublika Bielarus News Now!

Good afternoon East Pacific! This is Dmitry Kazamanov bringing you the afternoon news from Respublika Bielarus!

The Battle for the City of Mogilev has begun as rebel troops marched around to the other end of the city. The Battle of Mogilev Heights still rages on though as Centurion 12's and RB-100's are now being backed up by T-98's, more Centurion 12's, and MiG 17 aircraft. It was believed that this battle was a ploy so that soldiers on the other side could get into Mogilev with no issues at all. However, this was no so. When the Rebels and the BBF soldiers reached the city they were met with Mogilev Territorial Troops, Mogilev State Police, and Mogilev Police Forces all who were ready to fight off. So far, the Rebels and BBF have not gotten into the city except for a few kilometers on the outskirts of the city limits. President Matinova said, "This is the largest city that has been attacked and this proves that our country is not as invincible as we would like to think."

A bomb went off near the defenses of the Island of Komer destroying some of the newly built defenses. No one was killed but 5 workers were reported to be injured. The bomb succeeded in destroying some of the outside defenses that had just been placed but it was unsuccessful in completing the main goal. A man was captured leaving the area carrying a bag that had 5 more bombs in it. The man captured did admit to police that he was hired by the PRA and that his mission was to destroy Bielarusian Defenses, but that when he realized what that it was wrong, he wanted to be captured. Police are on the search to see if more bombers are in the area.

It was announced by the Bielarus Geological Survey that the earthquake that occurred in Baranovichi had an 8.2 measurement on the Richter scale. The earthquake destroyed nearly half the city of Baranovichi and has reportedly killed 6,573 people in all so far. Another 12,000 remain missing or are trapped below rubble. The Bielarus National Guard and the Brest Territorial Defense Force has been deployed to the region, along with the Bielarus Humanitarian Project. When we asked the BGS if there was any forewarning they had the following to say, "Our workers were surveying it for hours on end and they continued to notice little tremors, but the people felt none of it. Then, the Earthquake struck. We are still trying to figure out why the earthquake struck where it did, seeing as the epicenter is nearly 15 kilometers from the city of Baranovichi in a nearby town, which destroyed that city."

The Presidential Councillor of Emergency Situations arrived in Baranovichi this morning and declared that rebuilding must begin right away. Most of the cities bridges were destroyed during the earthquake or in the aftershocks after. Around 5.4km of the bridge was destroyed, while most of the bridge still remains in tact. The President issued a decree creating the National Disaster Agency which will deploy soldiers and all resources to the region when an earthquake attacks.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here at Respublika Bielarus News Now!

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Slava Ortana bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story today, levies on the island of Babyusk have been destroyed following a Category 4 hurricane striking the island. The levies and dams in the nearby Oksana River were destroyed and water rushed into the cities of Branislav and Nikolsk, which lie on the South-Western end of the island. A bridge, known as the Islands Bridge due to it connecting Babyusk to Dzyarzhynskaya collapsed as the hurricane hit. President Matinova issued a State of Emergency for the island and mobilized National Guard soldiers to be sent to the island. She is expected to travel there later this week after a stop in Baranovichi. So far, 200 people have been reported dead.

Turning now to Baranovichi, the bridge that leads into the city is being repaired as this is being broadcast. The reason for the repairs is first to allow for major aid to get into the city. President Councillor of Emergency Situations Vladim Konyev announced that only soldiers, aid vehicles, and humanitarian workers would be allowed to use the bridge until the whole bridge is repaired. "We must first focus on rebuilding the city, then we will allow for the bridge to be reopen for economic purposes."

The Battle of Mogilev Heights still rages on as rebel soldiers were pushed out of the city of Mogilev. So far, 112 enemy tanks have been destroyed while 57 Centurion 12's, RB-100's, and T-98's of the Bielarus Army have been eliminated. 75 enemy airplanes have been downed, while Bielarus has lost only 15. The Battle is expected to continue to rage on, but since the city of Mogilev is now safe, nearly 185 tanks have been rerouted to fight in the heights area and soldiers could be making movements against the rebels soon.

The Bielarus Song Contest is expected to complete auditions tonight and another 530 will be put through to the bootcamp and then the live weeks. Cabinet Minister of Culture Aleksander Volkov has said that the contest has been a great success and that even though many didn't get through, people were encouraged not to give up. Anastasia Vinnikova, the chief judge, said that she was very excited to work on the show and with the contestants and that no one should feel down just because they didn't make the cut. "Everyone who has performed was good in their own way, there is no doubt about that. But there is limits of people who can get through to the next rounds and most of the other judges want the best of the best."

200 RB-100's rolled out of the factories this morning and are being prepared to go into combat against enemy tanks. These tanks include the latest 135mm gun, which is capable of going through any tank that is in the Rebel Army's armory. Minister of Information Technology and Communications Sergei Popkov said that the tanks have been equipped with the latest radar equipment and other equipment which we are not allowed to say. 50 will be delivered to Mogilev, Komer, Babyusk, and to the new front on Lahoysk island.

The Lahoysk island offensive is expected to begin either late tonight or early tomorrow morning. Soldiers of the Respublika Bielarus Army have landed on the neighboring island of Nikolsk and have begun opening fire on the island. Seeing as the islands are fairly close to one another, most shots have been direct hits on their targets. It is believed that the island will be taken down in a manner of hours following the invasion, so long as the bridge of Akorsk highway doesn't be destroyed either by the hurricane that is moving in or the Rebel Army. If the bridge is destroyed, then Bielarusian soldiers will either have to build a makeshift bridge or land on the island by air and sea.

Minister of Defense Andrei Svetlov has traveled to Komer and ordered for the increased security on the island for reasons that are not yet known, aside from just a common defense. Following further explosions near defensive positions and cities, the Minister declared the island to be a warzone, which allows for over 500,000 soldiers to be on the island in total. However, a front was not declared. Had a front been declared, over 1,250,000 soldiers could have been deployed. The Defense Minister also declared Lahoysk to be an offensive, meaning that 275,000 soldiers will be deployed to fight if necessary.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here. Join us again tonight for our evening news.

Good evening East Pacific! This is Alexei Kolushenkov bringing you the nightly news from Respublika Bielarus.

Our top story tonight, the Category 4 hurricane that struck Babyusk has moved towards the Western Islands Region and has hammered the islands of Lahoysk and Nikolsk. The two islands were hit hard, but remarkably the bridge between them remained intact and is able to be crossed. The hurricane, which was now declared a category 5, is expected to move onto the Northern Island Region which for the most part is uninhabited. The capital city of Lahoysk, Kletsk, was completely destroyed by the hurricane. The Hurricane only did minor damage to the island of Nikolsk but flooding is expected in the major locations.

The Islands bridge that connects Babyusk and Dzyarzhynskaya is already in the process of being rebuilt. Soldiers and contractors started laying steel panel's instead of the original concrete panel's that were originally put in place there. The bridge, which has two different lanes, was only destroyed on one of the lanes. The other, which has been shut off to military traffic only for a few weeks now, is expected to be reopen for the people to begin using at any time.

In Baranovichi, the city is under a full state of emergency while the bridge and one half of the city is being rebuilt. National Guard, Territorial Defense Troops, Federal Soldiers, and State Police have been deployed to the city to defend it as the rebuilding takes place. The rebuilding of the bridge is expected to cost around 87.4 billion dollars, the most costly repair in the history of Respublika Bielarus.

Bielarusian Navy ships were deployed to the South Sea near Babyusk today and are currently in combat against the rebel navy as they make one final attempt to rescue their troops. The Navy has deployed 72 ships near Babyusk and the Air Craft Carrier Admiral Kolensk is to be deployed near the island. This is one of the 10 Respublika Bielarus Air Craft Carriers, each of which have been deployed already. 3 helicopter carriers have already arrived in the area, the Minsk,Mogilev, and the Gomel.

Good Morning East Pacific!! This is Dmitry Sutchka bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Soldiers of the Lahoysk Offensive began the attack against the island around midnight. T-98's, Centurion 12's, and RB-100's opened fire from the island of Nikolsk while troops landed by sea, air, and crossing the bridge of Akorsk Highway. Over 50,000 soldiers raced across the island to make it to the capital of Kletsk. They have met very strong resistance by PRA forces in Kletsk and Lyuban. The cities, which we both destroyed in the hurricane, have been heavily modified and turned into ruins that are hard to get through for tanks, meaning only soldiers and artillery are doing most of the fighting. Bielarusian soldiers have however surrounded both cities and are expected to make a push into both by noon.

Turning now to Babyusk, the rebels final attempt to attack the island failed as helicopters from the carrier Mogilev flew into the region and opened fire on all of the targets. In total, 57 boats were sunk, 350 people were killed, another 75 were wounded, and nearly 500 were captured. Admiral Kolya Gurulev, son of Chief of Staff of the Coast Guard Sergei Gurulev, said that the defense of the island was the first major victory for Respublika Bielarus. "I believe that this shows the enemy that our Navy is more capable than they think we are, and that we can be deployed anywhere as we were in this case. We will deploy into the rivers if we have to but we will not stop the fight. This is the first major victory for our naval forces and the military moreover."

The Parliament has approved of an emergency 56.7 billion ruble project to complete the rebuilding of the Baranovichi and the Islands Bridge. Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nikolai Yuranovich told us that it is necessary for the bridges to be built right away. "We are in the middle of a state of war. These bridges need to be opened for the open movement of troops and to continue stabilizing the economy. I believe that if we don't get them rebuilt now, then we could have some issues in the coming months."

100 Centurion 12's rolled out of their hangars this morning following being in them for nearly 3 years. These tanks, which were mass produced, were sent to be refitted, which should only take a matter of days. Half of them however, had already been refitted and have been deployed to Gomel. President Matinova ordered for the recommissioning of all Centurion's ranging from the years 2009 until present time, which is around 10,000 tanks in all. "Our economy can sustain to mobilize these tanks, there is no reason that they should have been sent to their hangars anyways, there was nothing wrong with them, and the Army, Marines, and Border Troops definitely could have used them, even if they had to use them just for training."

The Battle of Mogilev Heights, which has waged on for many days has taken a turn of events. Bielarusian soldiers were ordered by the Minister of Defense to pull back into the city of Mogilev and to make an offensive from there if PRA forces decide to attack the city. The reasoning for the pullback could also be due to the loss of many tanks. A total of 50 Centurion 12's, 47 T-98's, and 1 RB-100(Mechanical Failure), were lost in combat. While the losses of enemy tanks amounted to nearly 200, the ordered was still given regardless. The Minister said it might buy time to refit the RB-100's with the larger guns that are required to fight the Centurions.

Helicopter Carriers Baranovichi, the Beyerazino, the Valozhyn, and the Kapyl have been deployed into the Akrana River in the Vitebsk Region, which is in Northern Bielarus. They traveled up through the Ostana River and the Moska River in Gomel and Mogilev Regions, respectively. They are deployed there to fight against the PRA in Vitebsk Region. They are expected to fly helicopters into Vitebsk in the coming days. If at all possible, the Air Craft Carrier Vyalikaya Byerastavitsa will be deployed to the region, but it most likely will not be possible due to the Ostana River not being as large to hold an aircraft Carrier. 4 Cruisers (RBNS Grodno,RBNS Gomel,RBNS Voranava, and the RBNS Lida were deployed to the region along with 5 Amphibious Assault Ships (RBNS Bielarus, RBNS Svietlahorsk, RBNS Naroulia, RBNS Vietka , and the RBNS Mazyr) and 2 Destroyers (RBNS Orsha and the RBNS Baran).

Our final story, another 530 people were put into the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest last night, thus concluding the audition rounds. A total of 3,000 people will go into the bootcamp round and it will be narrowed down to 1,000 for the First Live Week. Every week, another 100 will be eliminated. The show will go on every other night(minus Sunday night), and will most likely take place until Christmas time. Once it is down to just 100 competitors, 10 will be eliminated per week until there is only 5 left.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here! We will see you later on.

Good evening East Pacific! This is Dmitry Kolvanov bringing you the nightly news from Respublika Bielarus.

Soldiers have began to crash through the island of Lahoysk. They overran the city of Lyuban and are heading for Kletsk. A total of 50 soldiers were lost during the offensive and another 30 were wounded. BR-100's crossed the bridge and went into the city of Lyuban and surprisingly didn't get bogged down through their defenses. The RB's were very successful in fighting, much to the surprise of the rebels and Federal Army alike. Centurion 12's are rolling across the East side of the island, while T-98's are rolling down the West side so that they can surround the city of Kletsk.

The ships stationed in the Akrana River in Vitebsk have been put to good use today as they helped stop a rebel attack on the city of Vitebsk. Helicopters took off from their carriers when it was reported that the city came under attack. No damage was done to the city proper, but most of the outskirt was destroyed. No helicopter was destroyed or even damaged in any way. The other ships of the Navy stationed there opened fire on enemy positions from the river and destroyed the main rebel base near the city. Enemy ships did however sail into Lake Osveya and were able to cut off any more ships from being able to get into the Akrana River. The Destroyers RBNS Polatsk and the RBNS Navapolatsk have been deployed to the region to fight the enemy ships off. They will be joined by 2 Amphibious Assault Carriers and 5 Cruisers, which have yet to be named.

President Slava Matinova visited schools across Minsk today including School #152 and #191. The reason for the visit was to meet with kids and to see what improvements need to be made to the lessons and the schools itself. The President said that repairs are necessary to both schools immediately. "We need to rebuild our schools and as soon as possible. When Christmas rolls around and the students are at their homes, we will have contractors go in and make all the repairs they can for the time given."

Soldiers in the Mogilev, Vitebsk, and Grodno fronts have been re-equipped with Centurion 9's, 10's, 11's, 12's, and 14's. Over 1,000 of the tanks were deployed to each region. The Minister of State said that it was necessary for them to be reinforced. Rebel soldiers are already equipped with Centurion 14's and 15's so it is necessary to send them back to the region.

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Ivan Yermoshin bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story tonight, soldiers of the Lahoysk offensive have reached the city of Kletsk and are near taking over the capital. Centurion 12's, T-98's, and RB-100's have surrounded the city and have been pounding it for hours. Helicopters have landed more troops near the region and cargo planes are dropping packages with resupplies of food and ammunition. Commander of the Offensive, Navy Admiral Yuri Veronin, said that the attack has been a great success and minimal casualties have been taken on our side. "As of last count, we have only lost 15 men, compared to the hundreds lost of the PRA. The city of Kletsk however will tell a different story. We are expecting to fight thousands of soldiers with the thousands we have and we don't know what equipment they have to fight back against us. So, I suppose we can only leave it up to God."

A new ship has left the Port of Kopal on the island of Komer. The ship, named the RBNS Dzisna, left the harbor to embark for sea trials in the East Sea, which surrounds Komer, Babyusk, Loker, and Braslaw islands. The Dzisna is the second largest ship in the Bielarusian Navy, right behind the Air Craft Carrier Vyalikaya Byerastavitsa. The ship was declared a battleship by the Navy Joint Chief. The ship is equipped with many older weapons that have been modified to fit the current standards of the Bielarusian Navy. As well, the ship is equipped with the newest radar and communications technology to come out of Respublika Bielarus.

Prime Minister Nigmatulin did a fly over of the city of Baranovichi and inspected the damage that was done by the earthquake. She later spoke to us through a video chat and said that she was shocked and saddened to see the hero city partially destroyed. "We must get going on repairing Baranovichi, not for the soldiers who need it for traveling to major regions, but for the citizens who have lost their homes due to the earthquake. We must rebuild before another earthquake strikes and effectively eliminates the city from the map of the country."

The Battle of the Lake Osveya has began as the RBNS Polatsk and the RBNS Navapolatsk have opened fire on the rebel ships Kortana, Vasyusk, and the Admiral Kobel. The destroyers are fighting viscously, being able to eliminate some small ships. 2 Amphibious assault carriers (RBNS Kolyana and the RBNS Mogilev) along with 3 cruisers (RBNS Shkloŭ, RBNS Chavusy, and the RBNS Mazyr) are expected to join in on the battle as soon as they come into close range. The Helicopter Carriers stationed in the Akrana River are unable to join in on the battle due to them being engaged in combat in the north. More ships were moved into the Akrana River from Lake Lukomlskoye, including three Cruisers (RBNS Kalinkavichy, RBNS Svietlahorsk, and the RBNS Zhytkavichy), 2 destroyers (RBNS Dobrush and RBNS Vietka, and nearly 20 speed boats.

PRA rebels have landed on the island of Braslaw, nearly 75 miles from Komer island, making it nearly 200 miles from the Bielarusian mainland. Though there is not much defense on the island, there is nearly 5,000 soldiers in the capital of Braslaw City. Soldiers on the island of Komer are being airlifted to the island and the Air Craft Carrier Vyalikaya Byerastavitsa is being deployed to the island immediately. Nearly 500 airplanes have taken off to bomb the territory and launch rockets onto enemy positions. Chief of Staff of the Air Force Tatiana Sakurova said that the Air Force would be able to play its first actual role in the war. "This is the first time that the Air Force has actually been deployed during our civil war. Our pilots are trained for this mission and will not surrender no matter what the cost. We will bomb their positions until they fall."

Our final story, the city of Kirawsk in Mogilev Region has fallen to the PRA. This is the first city on the mainland to fall to the rebels. The city, which lies 92km away from the city, fell around midnight when PRA soldiers stormed the city only to find it deserted. All the people who had lived in the city had been evacuated days before, leading to the PRA believing that there are double-agents among them. The city is still left intact as airplanes flew overhead and saw the city. Tanks are expected to bombard the city and the airplanes will fly over and bomb if necessary.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here at Respublika Bielarus News Now! We will see you tonight.

Good evening East Pacific! This is Kirill Pakarov bringing you the nightly news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story tonight, the PRA ships in Lake Osveya have been destroyed. At noon, it was reported to us that the Kortana and Admiral Kobel sank after their munitions were shot. About two hours later, the Vasyusk sank as well. No Bielarusian ship sank, but there were reports of damage being done to them. The Naval Admiral in command of the Akrana River said, "It is a major victory for us. It proves our naval supremacy in our territory. This is a victory for all sailors today, not just us. Fight on to victory!"

Turning now to Turov, a coastal city and naval port in the Gomel Region. It was announced this morning that 3 ships will set sail from their later this week. 2 of the ships are Littoral Combat ships, while the other is an Air Craft Carrier. The ships, named RBNS Liberty, RBNS Glory, and the RBNS Alexander respectively, are to set sail to the Babyusk islands and then go onto the Western Islands Chain. When we asked the Chief of Staff of the Navy for comment he had the following to say, "These three ships will change the face of Bielarus's Navy. They are, along with the Dzisna, the ships that are equipped with the latest technology, weaponry, and in the case of the aircraft carrier, the newest planes. We are excited to get them out there and going to help in the fight to secure our country."

On to the Lahoysk offensive, the soldiers of the Bielarus Thirteenth Army got bogged down before they were able to enter the city of Kletsk. The city, which has nearly 90,000 soldiers inside of it and has been reduced to ruble, is fighting on to the last man. The Aircraft Carrier RBNS Bielarus has been deployed to the area to aid in the fight against the rebels. So far, 500 sorties have been flown by the planes on the carrier in a manner of two days. Helicopter Carriers Grodno, Barysaw, and Mogilev have all been deployed to the area as well to back up the offensive.

Our final story lies on the island of Braslaw in the East Sea. The island has been attacked by rebel soldiers and the capital city is under attack. Nearly 500 airplanes have landed on the opposite side of the island and have been bombing enemy positions all day. The Aircraft Carrier Vyalikaya Byerastavitsa has been deployed there to aid in the fighting. 250 planes lie on the neighboring island of Pastavy. Soldiers from Komer were airlifted to the island along with supplies and tanks, while others are still coming by sea. There has been a huge loss of life for the Rebels, while the Bielarusian side has lost 50 people as of our last report.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here. We will see you in the morning!

Good morning East Pacific! This is Vitaly Muyanovich bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, Rebels on the island of Kletsk are still holding out against Bielarusian Federal Forces. Though they have lost nearly half of their army, the soldiers in the city are bent on holding out till the last man. Artillery, tanks, ships, and airplanes have been bombing the city for days now to mostly no avail. Tanks and soldiers entered the West Quarter of the city and began attacking enemy positions there and were very successful, but soldiers in other quarters did not have the same amount of luck. Special forces have been sent into the city and are expected to help flush out remaining opposition.

Parliament vote and approved of a bill yesterday that would allow from Respublika Bielarus's Regions to become more than they are right now. The bill, entitled The Bill of States, would remove the regions and create a new system of government known as Parishes. There would be a total of 121 Parishes in all including the surrounding islands of the country. Many people have supported the bill as they are not sure that the large Regions represent them well. Minsk, Vitebsk, and Mogilev will remain as Independent-Regions/Cities whether the President signs the bill or not. Speaker of the Council of the Republic, Yuri Kolobanov said, "We are certain that this will be able to make the people feel more that they have a representative government, rather than politicians far away. We believe that this bill will be good in revitalizing our nation and giving people a feel that they can have more say in the Government affairs."

The capital city of the Island of Braslaw has been attacked by nearly 5,000 rebel soldiers. Soldiers of the Bielarusian Federal Army, amounting to 40,000 in total, have dug into positions in and around the city. Tanks and ships are bombing enemy positions near the city, and nearly 750 planes have been flown over enemy positions. Part of the city has been destroyed and enemies are still advancing into the city, which is heavily defended. Admiral Yaramenko is fighting near the region on the RBNS Dzisna, which was originally sent for sea trials. The Admiral spoke to us on his phone and had the following to say to us, "Our ship has proved effective in attacking enemy positions. This is the ships trial by fire in a way. The ship was never able to go for sea trials, so this is its sea trial."

The Liberty, Glory, and Alexander have decided to reroute to the island of Braslaw after an order from their captains had them change course. They are going there to support the fight against rebels that have landed on the island. The three ships are equipped with the latest technology and the Alexander, the newest Aircraft Carrier, is equipped with the newest Airplanes, the MiG-37. They are expected to arrive at the island in the coming hours.

A Naval and Air battle has began in the Akrana River and Lake Osveya as Rebel ships and planes are going head to head with Bielarusian ships and planes. Rebel ships sailed near the confluence where the Akrana River and Lake Osveya meet and began attacking Bielarusian ships already in the Lake. Even though the Bielarusian's were caught by surprise, they were able to fight back and hold off all enemy ships from getting anywhere close to the Helicopter Carriers. Following the beginning of the Sea War, Airplanes began an air war over the area when Bielarusian Airplanes attempted to sink the rebel ships, which was actually partially successful.

Yesterday, we mentioned that the city Kirawsk had fallen to the PRA. Bielarusian soldiers have landed in the city and have began fighting against PRA and Bielarusian for a Brighter Future forces. Airplanes are also flying into the region and it is possible that some ships could soon come into the Sozh River. The Sozh River is a vital line of support for the Mogilev Region as it connects to the Akrana River in Vitebsk and Lake Chervonoye, which connects to the East Sea. The only Naval presence in the region so far is some patrol boats and gunboats.

Our final story for now, tanks rolled towards the city of Aspiovichy in Western Mogilev to help fight off rebels near the city. 100 Centurion's of all different models, 50 T-98's, and 12 RB-100's arrived in the city early this morning and began fighting off rebel forces, which are now surrounded on the outskirts of the city. Two ships, the RBNS Freedom and the RBNS Dmitry Kovano, have arrived in the Drut River, which runs straight through the city. The two ships have sailed into the far end of the city and have come within a 20km radius of Rebel held territory. The fight is expected to go on for long, but the use of ships might speed up the attack.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here.

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Svetlana Mehribanova bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

We start off this morning on the island of Braslaw where soldiers have been engaged against rebels for the past 2 days now. Bielarusian ships, planes, and soldiers have been fighting around the capital of Braslaw City. The rebels, which totaled 5,000 strong, have now been reduced far enough for the Army to encircle them, which they have done and it was successful. Rebel soldiers officially surrendered at midnight Minsk time when the white flag was raised over Fort Blue outside the city. Bielarusian soldiers are expected to continue marching across the 303 km long island. Reinforcements will arrive on the island in the coming hours.

President Slava Matinova signed the Bill of States yesterday afternoon in front of major news agencies and members of the Parliament. The President said that the bill will not come into effect until after the war is over due to it being conflicting when it comes to territorial defense forces. When she was asked what it would do to the States territorial defense Forces, she replied with the following, "It will not be an easy task having to divide up the Parishes and make their new defense Forces, but we hope it will be a transition that will last. Until such a time that the Parishes could get a standing Army for themselves, Federal Troops and Regional Defenses Force will remain in the Parishes." When asked about how it would effect the regions, she said the following, "People do not seem to understand that this does not eliminate the Regional system. In Respublika Bielarus we have three levels of government: Federal, Regional, and Local. When the Parish system comes into effect we will have the: Federal, Regional, Parish, and then Local. Regions will still function, people will still elect the same State Parliament, but they will elected 6 people per region, 5 people per parish, and 3 people per locality. The Federal Parliament will grow larger as expected and that is something that would have happened anyways."

Kirawsk was retaken this morning around 1 am when Bielarusian soldiers pushed all rebel soldiers out of the city. The last pocket of resistance fell around 1:30 am and the city was declared to be in control of the Bielarusian Government again. The Commander of the forces there, Lieutenant Viktor Yuribov said the following, "Kirawsk has been liberated of the devils of the PRA. Once again the city belongs to Bielarus and it will never fall again. This, I pledge to the people of the city!" Over 5,000 soldiers have been sent by the Mogilev Territorial Defense Force and a rebuilding of the city is expected to begin in the coming days once the area is secure.

3/4ths of the city of Kletsk has been retaken as the East, South, and West Quarters were retaken. The areas of the city fell earlier this morning when Bielarusian tanks and artillery ripped through the defenses. The North and Central parts of the city are still holding out as more rebels were poured in from the North quarter, which holds nearly 40,000 soldiers itself. The Central city now hold nearly 100,000 soldiers, which was more than was expected before. The entire defense of the city of Kletsk was estimated to be 243,000 at its height. 1,296 Bielarusian soldiers lost their lives trying to retake the city. President Matinova said that would all be awarded Bielarus's highest military honors, the Bielarus Cross and Hero of Bielarus. Reinforcements are expected to arrive on the island by morning and then they will make another push into the city of Kletsk.

The newest battleship, the RBNS Dzisna, has been sent into the Akrana River to assist in the battle going on there. So far, it has been able to take out 4 rebel ships, and has shot down nearly 50 airplanes. Bielarus has lost 1 ship, the RBNS Equality, but the ship did not sink. The ship, which has been taken to the city of Vitebsk for repairs, is expected to get back underway in a manner of hours. A total of 20 rebel ships has been sunk and nearly 120 planes have been shot down as well. The Battle is expected to continue for a few days but Artillery batteries have arrived on the river's edge and have been pounding at rebel ships, which has caused much damage to their guns. Anti-Aircraft weapons have also been firing non-stop and have resulted in destroying 100 of the 120 planes.

The city of Aspiovichy in Western Mogilev was declared secure when soldiers of the First Mogilev Defense Force marched into the city and wiped out all remaining opposition. The city, which contains around 30,000 people, was destroyed. According to the Minister of Defense, "Cities will continue to be wiped out by the rebels. We have already seen 5 cities destroyed by Rebel soldiers and it will just continue until we make sure soldiers are in every city." Following the return of the city to Bielarusian hands, President Matinova signed a decree declaring that every city must have a defense of 5,000 Federal soldiers, 3,000 Regional Defense Soldiers, and 1,500 State Police Forces. If State Police are not able to defend the city, the Bielarusian Federal Territorial Defense Forces will be sent.

The city of Mogilev is once again under attack as rebels decided to attack the city from all sides. The city, which recently suffered attacks from the rebel forces, is now heavily defended. A member of the City Council of Mogilev said, "When the first attack came many days ago while the Battle of Mogilev Heights was going on, only 30,000 soldiers were in the city of Mogilev. Now, there are over 1,000,000 soldiers in Mogilev alone." These 1,000,000 soldiers consist of Federal Soldiers, State Police, Regional Defense Forces, and Volunteers from the city of Mogilev.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good morning East Pacific! This is Dusan Yaramenko bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story for today, the city of Kletsk on the island of Lahyosk fell yesterday around 5pm Minsk time when soldiers of the 25th Army broke through the defenses of the city-center and eliminated the remaining resistance. Over 10,000 soldiers were taken captive by the Bielarusian army. President Matinova declared the island to be secure at 7pm last night following the 2-hour military protocol. The battle came at a heavy cost for both sides. Rebel casualties amount to 125,000; while, Bielarus lost 2,531 soldiers, 31 tanks, 4 planes, and 2 gunboats. Prime Minister Nigmatulin declared following the battle that those who died in the combat would all be honored with military funerals and will be granted the Bielarus Star, the second highest military award, along with the Bielarus Cross, the highest honor, Hero of Bielarus, and Order of the White Cross. Those who survived will be awarded the Bielarus Cross, the Bielarus Star, and the Order of Bielarus. When asked why the survivors would not receive the Hero of Bielarus award, the response by the Prime Minister was firm, "The Hero of Bielarus award is only given to those who actually died for the greater good of our country. They are the true heroes of the war. Not saying that those who are still alive are not heroes, but that is just how tradition is."

The Battle of the Akrana is still raging on as 5 new ships have been deployed to the region. Casualties are mounting on both sides and it does not seem like the battle will end any time soon. The President and the Minister of Defense both ordered the deployment of artillery and tanks to the shore lines so they can open fire upon the ships and at least cause damage to the guns. The Minister of Defense said the following, "Yes it sounds odd to deploy tanks and artillery to fight off ships, but in the Braslaw and Babyusk islands it proved effective. They may not be able to destroy the ship, but they do have the power to knock out the guns and cause numerous amounts of damage."

Fighting outside the city of Mogilev took a turn for the worse when the President of the region ordered for all soldiers to retreat into the city and fight there. The city, which now has over 2,500,000 soldiers and 1,200 tanks fighting in it, along with numerous artillery and airplanes, has been virtually cut off from allied support. President of Mogilev, Dmitry Sokalev, convened an extraordinary council meeting of his cabinet and called out the President's of other regions to send support. The Presidents of Vitebsk and Grodno, Boris Svetlov and Lenoid Zayats, respectively, both said that they would find as much support as they can to rescue the city from annihilation. President Zayats said the following, "We cannot allow for a Hero city such as Mogilev to fall. The Federal Government is not doing anything to help because they are fighting elsewhere, so we must take action into our own hands. For this reason, I am ordering the deployment of 270,000 soldiers, 500 tanks, 680 artillery pieces, and 200 planes to the region to fight off the Rebel forces around the city. We will not forget Mogilev. We will help them and we will help the Heroes fight on!"

President Slava Matinova is expected to go to schools in the Grodno and Gomel Regions this week as part of her new Education program. Last week, President Matinova signed a bill presented to her by Parliament that would increase the standards of learning in Respublika Bielarus. She said that she is traveling to these two regions to see how the new program has effected the schools and if she thinks that the bill would be worth keeping in place. After traveling there, she will travel to the Vitebsk, Brest, and Minsk Regions.

The Minister of Defense, under instruction from the Presidential council and the Parliament, ordered for the majority of the scrapping of the RB-100 tank. An order of 1,000 had been filed, of which 450 were built and operational. Even though the order was cancelled, this does not mean work in the factories has halted. The Minister of Defense gave the companies a floor plan of a new tank, similar to the Centurion tanks that are already in service. The tank, which has yet to be named, will be equipped with a longer gun and will be able to go faster than the Centurions, T-98's, and the RB-100's. It is unknown when the first prototype will come out, because even though it is wanted quickly, they want it to be strong, obsolete, and able to put up a fight.

1,000 Centurion 9's, 10's, 12's, 14's, and 15's arrived in the city of Lida today where fighting with the rebels began. Around midnight, rebel soldiers began firing on the city with artillery and tanks. The City, which is the second largest in all of the Grodno Region, is defended by 5,000 soldiers in total so far since they were not informed of the Presidential decree that came out ordering for 9,500 soldiers total to be in each city. The Commander of the city, Sergeant Demoshenko said the following, "We are awaiting assistance from either the Federal Army of the Regional Defense Force. These tanks are a great start, especially since we are fighting an unknown number of enemy tanks. We are hoping for support in the coming hours but we don't know." The Grodno Minister of Defense announced that 100,000 soldiers would be deployed near the city.

It was announced last night that the Sozh River is contaminated due to an oil leak in the Gomel-Vitebsk pipeline. The pipeline, which was constructed in 2010, had a crack in the side of it as pounds of oil got stuck around the area. It was not able to push on anywhere else and blew up in the process, causing oil to spill into the River. President Matinova declared it a disaster zone and ordered or a program to begin to clean it up. She also instructed the Supreme Court to bring a case against the owner of the pipeline, Oil company gasBielarus. The company is expected to have to pay a major fee to the government of clean up the oil in a timely manner.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good morning East Pacific! This is Slava Ortana bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, workers of the Bielarusian Humanitarian Association arrived on the island of Lahoysk this yesterday along bringing food, water, and building supplies so that they can begin rebuilding the island. Over 50,000 people along with 400,000 tons of supplies reached the island around noon yesterday and got to work on repairs throughout the island. A worker for the group who asked not be named said that the rebuilding of the island could take months to years. "This island was completely destroyed by the war. Basically, we are looking at 10 months to 2 years of repairs being done. We are going to start on the coast and build in. Hopefully, that will make the process easier."

President Slava Matinova arrived in Grodno today and visited 5 schools in the city. She went to meet with students and review her new education policy in the region. She said that so far the policy is having little effect seeing as it just came out last week but that they are projecting it to be spreading throughout the coming weeks. "We hope to see the policy working soon, but we know that it will take time to adapt to it. Schools cannot be expected to change in a weeks time. As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day."

The Ministry of Defense announced last night that the contract to build the new tanks has been accepted by Defense Company ArmorRB. ArmorRB is the company that handled the building of all Centurion's and the T-98. The ArmorRB company is the largest arms manufacturer in the country and agreed to the contract around 5pm yesterday. The contract, worth 500 billion Rubles, will see the creation of a new tank, known as the Challenger 16. The tank will be faster then the Centurion, have more armor than the RB-100, and will have a longer gun than the T-98. The first prototype of the tank is expected to be completed in March of next year, but it is possible that it could be done in late December or early January.

The Supreme Court of Bielarus has agreed to hear a case brought against the oil company gasBielarus. The company is in charge of the Gomel-Vitebsk pipeline which exploded over the Sozh River and leaked gallons of oil into the River before it became clogged up. The case, which was asked to be brought against them by the President and Parliament, seeks 55.6 million dollars to help in the clean up process, or, they could be ordered to clean up the river. The Chief Justice of the Court, Justice Alexander Nikobarov, said the following, "We will hear from both sides first and we will make out ruling based upon that. We do believe however, that gasBielarus is responsible and we will seek for them to clean it up."

Fighting in the city of Lida raged on into the night as Rebel soldiers and Bielarusian soldiers went head to head in a tank battle. The Battle began when rebel forces reached the city limit and began shelling the city with artillery. The soldiers in the city responded with air support and tank fire. The rebels destroyed a church in the center of the city and badly damaged a nearby hotel. Soldiers of the Grodno Region Territorial Defense Force arrived in the city and declared it to be an active war zone, thus allowing for federal troops to come into the region.

Turning away from the war for a moment, President Slava Matinova and her sons Alexei, Nikolai, and Dima were all baptized yesterday at the First Baptist Church in Minsk. President Matinova and her family had been Muslim until a few months ago. The President shared her story with us and here it is. "I was feeling so lost in the world and in my faith. I began to disagree with the practices of Islam, but that was all I had known my whole life and I was scared to change my ways. I had let my children chose whichever path they wanted to go down. In March, Alexei told me that he had gone to the First Baptist Church in Minsk and that he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. I was so happy for him. A few days later, I went to the doctor and found out that I had Stage 4 Kidney cancer. I began praying more and more per day, but no one was listening. One night, I was sitting by the TV and there was a man on there talking about Christ. I felt so convicted that I began to cry. I told Alexei that I wanted to go to church with him and he took me with him that Sunday. After going a few more times, I finally accepted Jesus. When I went to the doctor the following week, they told me the cancer was becoming weaker. I knew it was a miracle from God. So today, I was baptized not for show, or not to show my country that I am a Christian, but I did it for my personal relationship with my Savior." Alexei commented saying that he was proud of his mother and that they would meet to discuss Christ every week. Following the Baptism, President Matinova appointed her son Alexei to the position of Presidential Councillor of Religious Affairs.

The Battle of Mogilev is looking up for those defending the city. Soldiers defending the city received the much needed support of 400,000 soldiers from Grodno and Vitebsk. The soldiers arrived around 2:30am yesterday morning following their order of deployment by the Presidents of both Regions. The soldiers are accompanied by 1,500 tanks, 1,200 artillery batteries, and 750 airplanes. Most of the soldiers and artillery batteries came from Grodno, while most of the airplanes and tanks came from Vitebsk. The Battle is expected to go on for many more days as soldiers are being pored in on both sides of the conflict. Federal soldiers have not yet arrived in the city, except for those already stationed there.

The Battle of the Akrana River was declared over when airplanes flew down on the 3 remaining enemy destroyers and blew them up. They sank to the bottom of the River, which is where they are expected to stay for the rest of the war. President Matinova has proposed however raising the ships and rebuilding them. Prime Minister Nigmatulin announced that all those who fought in the battle would receive the Blue Star and the Order of Bielarus, two of the highest military honors. Bielarusian ships that fought in the area will also be declared Hero Ships.

Our final story, rebels in the city of Fernandina on the island of Braslaw are holding out in what is said to be the final battle of the war on the island. Bielarusian soldiers have been marching across the island for days on end now. Soldiers arrived at the city of Fernandina earlier today and began assaulting the city. The city is defended by around 5,000 rebel soldiers, 250 tanks, and 100 planes. The attacking force is 15,000 soldiers, 500 tanks, 250 planes, and 12 warships.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good morning Respublika Bielarus! This is Tatiana Koluyeva bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus, a little earlier than normal.

Our top story today, soldiers of the first front of Lahoysk island began helping the Bielarusian Humanitarian Association in rebuilding the island. 500,000 soldiers will remain on the island and help rebuild. A soldier say that he is saddened by all the damage he has seen so far and that there is a lot of sick things that occurred. "Basically, they killed everyone on the island. They bombed cities, killed people, sent children to prison camps, did unspeakable things to women. It is sickening. They have no respect for the rules of war. We will remain on the island until we ensure that it is secure, but we understand that the wounds of war will never be healed on this island and it will take much forgiveness to do so." President Slava Matinova has ordered for an investigation into the crimes committed on the island. If the claims are found to be true, then the rebels taken prisoner will go to trial according to a government official.

ArmorRB executive Nicola Lokorav announced yesterday that the company would begin production of the Challenger 17 right away and that it would be given over to the Bielarusian Army by the first of February. "We are looking forward to unveiling the new tank and it will definitely be something to see. The country needs to new weapon as soon as possible. Until such a time that we can get the first tank out, we are going to build 3,000 more Centurion tanks to give to the Military. We will get underway with the plans that have been given to us as soon as we can get the new resources for it", said Nicola. The "resources" that are being spoken about are found on the islands of Komer and Braslaw and is mostly steel and other metals, only found there.

It was announced by the Presidential Office last night that President Matinova is engaged to be married. "President Matinova's boyfriend proposed to her near the city of Gomel, where they first met. Her boyfriend, Representative of Gomel District 1, Isaac Donovich, who is 20 years her junior (making him 21 years old), proposed to her after them dating for 2 years." President Matinova told us that she was excited to be getting married and that she was hoping they could do it in the spring of next year. Prime Minister Nigmatulin sent her congratulations from Komer Island and the President of the Gomel Region gave his congratulations in person saying, "I am glad that our greatest representative and our greatest President are going to marry. I wish them the best of luck in the future."

A series of bombs exploded less than 5 miles away from the Presidential Palace in Minsk. Over 100 people were killed in the attack and many building collapsed. It is believed that it was the PRA that is behind the attack. President Matinova offered her condolences following the attack and Prime Minister Nigmatulin cancelled the rest of her trip in Komer and returned to Minsk to inspect the damage and promised that any place that was destroyed will be rebuilt by the government. For the time given, the Parliament and Ministries have been moved to the economic capital of Vitebsk and Vitebsk is now the De Jure capital of Bielarus following a decree from the President.

Rebel soldiers began attacking Bielarusian soldiers in the city of Brest, the capital of the Brest Region, in West Bielarus. The first wave of attackers were repelled in a manner of minutes following tank and artillery fire upon their positions. The second wave was able to break into the outer city limits but was eventually destroyed. The third wave however, he reached the Government building in the center of the city and is preparing to fight until the end. Brest and Vitebsk Territorial Defense Forces are moving into the city as this is being broadcast. Bielarusian Federal troops are also being deployed but only 10,000 were able to be sent due to fighting raging elsewhere.

The Case against oil company gasBielarus is expected to begin later today. The case, which is known as Gomel and Vitebsk Regions v. gasBielarus, seeks now 100 million dollars to be given to each region so that they can clean up the Sozh River. The case is also expected to order for the company to clean up the River themselves. The company is claiming innocence by the fact that they did not know the pipeline was going to explode, but an investigation into company records shows that they knew it was sending to much oil through the pipeline, that it was clogged in 3 areas, including the Sozh River, and did nothing to fix it. If the company does not fix the pipeline and refuses to clean up the river, they will lose their license to operate in the state and the pipelines will be handed over to RBPetrol.

Our final story, The city of Mogilev is still under attack. Troops were repelled by Bielarusian soldiers but then they ended up coming back with a force of nearly 2,500,000 soldiers. The defenders of Mogilev is 3,000,000 troops. The Vitebsk government has sent nearly 500,000 soldiers into the woods of Mogilev to fight off the enemies from behind. So far, soldiers have come from Gomel, Grodno, and Vitebsk Regions; while, the Federal Government is still trying to scramble forces together. President Matinova has promised that soldiers will arrive in the city by Thursday morning.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here at Respublika Bielarus News Now!

Good evening East Pacific! This is Vladislav Rybkin bringing you the nightly news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story tonight, a new battle is underway, this time in the Sea. Rebel soldiers attacked Bielarusian ships in the East Sea after they left the island of Braslaw. Two rebel destroyers, along with 4 cruisers, and a helicopter carrier attacked 5 Destroyers, 2 cruisers, an aircraft carrier, and two littoral combat ships. The battle began less than 50km away from Braslaw, which allowed for airplanes to back up the ships. Long-range artillery is also attacking enemy ships. Admiral Nikolai Yaremenko of the First Bielarusian Naval Fleet, which is stationed in the South Sea decided to send his ships, including the flagship of his fleet, the RBNS Conqueror. "These rebels will not attack our fleet and think they can get away with it. My ship along with 10 other are heading into the East Sea to help our comrades. The rest of the ships of our fleet have been ordered to find enemy naval bases or harbors and blow them up."

The city of Fernandina on the island of Braslaw is still holding out, but with even less soldiers. Bielarusian Forces entered the outer city limits and have taken city hall back. Even though nearly 1,000 were taken prisoner, over 3,000 still remain. The Bielarusian Navy and the Braslaw Defense Force is finally getting involved in the attack to retake the city and has been pounding the city from all sides all day long. The RBNS Ocean, a Destroyer, has fired nearly 200 shells per hours against the city. The city has basically been set on fire by all the shells that have hit it.

The Minsk Police force has launched an investigation into the bombing that took place in the city earlier this week. The attack, which claimed the lives of 500 people and wounded thousands more, has been declared a terrorist attack. Bielarusian soldiers entered the city yesterday and went in to make sure that the entire city is secure. They were not able to declare the city secure because they found 10 un-detonated bombs. The bombs have been removed from their positions and have yet to be blown up. Soldiers and dogs will continue to search the city in the coming days, but the Council of the Republic has declared the De Jure capital of Vitebsk to last for 2 months. Until such time as the city is declared, Vitebsk will be the official executive and economic capital.

Fighting at the city of Mogilev has continued into today as Rebel soldiers and Bielarusian Soldiers went head to head. President Matinova signed a declaration ordering for Bielarusian Federal Soldiers to go into the forest near the city and attack the rebels from there. So far, a force of 500,000 has been mustered to the city. This is of the 1.5 million strong Bielarusian Territorial Defense Force, not the Federal Army. The fight will continue for a long while according to the defenders of the city, but morale is running high even though part of the city is captured.

The city of Lida is still under siege but has partially been freed from the advances of the PRA. The city, which has a 1.2 million strong defense force, fought back against the soldiers of the PRA for the past three days and was very successful in the attacks. Rebel soldiers have not be able to get back into the city since the attack occurred, but the rebels are still fighting back. Bielarusian Territorial Defense Soldiers, amounting to 200,000 will arrived in the city in a few days.

Our final story, the Bielarusian Ministry of Defense announced that recruitment rates for the Military overall has increased nearly 26%, this amounts to around 11,000,000 additional cadets, who are currently in school. The total number of soldiers in the military, not counting the Federal Defense Force, amount to 20,750,000, the second largest military the country has ever had, the largest being 30,000,000 during the First Civil War. The Ministry said that after this major increase, no more applications to the federal military will be accepted, which caused a surplus of applications to the Federal Defense Force. The Prime Minister announced that after the civil war, they will find a way to make the military smaller by putting most soldiers in reserve.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here at Respublika Bielarus News Now!

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Nikolai Ikerov bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story tonight, the island of Braslaw is once again completely in the hands of the Bielarusian government. The city of Fernandina, the final city that was occupied by enemies on the island, fell around midnight. The city was basically wiped off the map when artillery, planes, and ships fired on the city for hours on end. Over 500 rebels were captured when the city fell and it is believed that nearly 2,890 of the 5,000 strong defense force were killed. If this is true, this is the second deadliest battle of the war, the first being Kletsk on Nikolsk Island.

The Minsk Police Force are continuing their investigation into the terror attack that occurred in Minsk just a few days ago. The attack, which has reportedly killed over 2000 people according to recent findings, is one of the deadliest to occur in the country, and the deadliest in Minsk thus far. The Minister of Internal Affairs flew back to Minsk yesterday, inspected the city, and said that he cannot find it in good conscious to return the capital to Minsk anytime soon. "The city is still in ruin. It will take months to repair most of the city. At the same time, the government has not given us any word on if money will be given for the rebuilding project, aside from that of the buildings of people. I cannot find it in good conscious to return the capital city to Minsk within a 3 months time frame. I believe we need to wait for an extended period of time. That is why I am going to make a recommendation to the President that we wait for a longer time." The President then announced that the total time that Vitebsk would be the capital is going to be roughly until March or April of 2017.

Tonight, Minsk FC will play West Bielarus FC at Minsk National Arena. The game is set to take place sometime are 6. President Matinova said it would be a high-security game and that no one will be allowed in or out without a ticket. The Department of Police Services in Minsk announced that alcoholic beverages would not be served at this game because statistic show that violence between fans increases when alcohol is involved. Police Commissioner Katya Tsarova said the following, "We want the people to have fun, while still making this the safest game possible. Minsk was just attacked by terrorist recently, and while we tried to have the game moved to Vitebsk, both teams were adamant about it being played in Minsk. We will monitor the arena and the surrounding areas closely with the help of the Territorial Defense Force."

The Supreme Court of Bielarus has adjourned for the time given to decide on how to prosecute gasBielarus. The court has been presented with thousands of documents that prove the legitimacy of the claims made by the Regions and State against the company. The company is being sued for 200 million rubles and the cleaning up of the Sozh River. President Matinova said that if the court did not believe that gasBielarus is at fault, then she will order the cleaning up of the river, give the money to the regions, and revoke gasBielarus's license to work in the country. "We cannot allow companies to think that they are above the law. They are not. If a company makes a mistake, it is their job to fix it. Just like with our government. If we see a mistake, we fix it. We don't wait until it blows up, in this case literally."

The Battle of Mogilev is still raging as soldiers recaptured the outer city limits around 2am this morning. Soldiers of the Grodno and Vitebsk Regions have arrived in the area and are in the forest around the city fighting the rebels from behind. Commander of the Grodno force, Dmitry Yuribov, said the following, "We are certain that the enemy is going to cave eventually. They cannot hold out against attacks from all sides, it is just impossible. We will win this fight. We will take this fight to them. The Rebels will not destroy our country or our way of life."

Fighting continued in the East Sea yesterday and this morning as rebel ships and Bielarusian ships went head to head in the battle. 5 rebel ships and 2 Bielarusian ships have been sunk so far. Airplanes got involved in the battle today and 10 more ships arrived from the First Bielarusian Naval Fleet. The remaining of that fleet sailed near rebel bases and took out 4 harbors and docks in total, thus rendering nearly 50% of the rebel navy useless. The Admiral of the First Bielarusian Navy, Nikolai Yaremenko said that he was sure that the battle would soon be over.

A few weeks ago, we mentioned rape victim Tatiana, who was ganged raped one night in the city of Minsk. It was reported to us last night that she was allowed to go home with her family and it was further said that she is in great condition. We sat down for an interview with her in which she said the following, "What they did to me is something that can never be changed. Though I wish it never happened, I know that I can come out strong through it. They are already in jail so there is nothing they can do to anyone else. From this time on, I will be an activist to ensure that the government takes this seriously the next time it happens." As she said, the attackers are in prison facing the death penalty.

Our final story, Respublika Bielarus News Now will be defunct for at least a day as we move to our Vitebsk station. President Matinova informed our station manager that it was not longer safe for us to remain in Minsk and pleaded with him to come to Vitebsk, which he agreed to. We hope that it will be a quick transition for us and that we can get the news rolling again. After we come back in Vitebsk, there will be new people on the show.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good Afternoon East Pacific! This is Alena Beletski bringing you the daily news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story this afternoon, soldiers in Minsk were able to stop 3 PRA bombers, who were attempting to blow up Minsk National Arena, last night. The PRA rebels were a little less than 2 1/2 kilometers away from the Arena when Territorial Defense Forces spotted them and made chase. 2 of the rebels decided to get into a gunfight with the soldiers and caused a half-hour standoff, which they lost. The other surrendered peacefully. The 2 were both killed in the shootout with the soldiers. Minsk police have announced that the one surviving was a 15 year old boy, and that since he surrendered, and due to his age, that it will be taken into consideration when the trial comes next month.

It has been decided to move the Bielarus Song Contest to the city of Vitebsk, due to Minsk not being safe. Judge and mentor Anastasia Vinnikova announced this morning in a press conference the following, "I have met with all the judges, the competitors, the families of said competitors, and even politicians. We have come to the belief that Minsk is not a safe city for us to host this contest in. With that being said, we have decided that the city of Vitebsk will host the contest. We believe that it is a safe city considering that our government trusts it enough to move the capital to there and that there is a lot of protection in the city." Two venues, Vitebsk Arena and North Bielarus Stadium, which can hold 100,000 and 68,270, respectively. Anastasia said that of the two, she would personally pick Vitebsk Arena, mostly due to its security.

The Supreme Court of Bielarus made its ruling yesterday morning when it ruled 9-0 that gasBielarus is guilty of fraud against the government, causing an environmental disaster, perjury, and negligence when it comes to fixing the pipeline. gasBielarus was ordered to pay 300 million rubles to both Vitebsk and Gomel Regions, and ordered them to clean up the Sozh River or risk losing their license to operate. Chief Justice of the Court, Alexander Nikobarov, declared that gasBielarus was completely negligent in cleaning up the pipeline, and compared them to most companies that exist. "Companies want to take the easy way out. They don't want to have to pay to make sure that their workers or the people of the country they work in are safe. We cannot continue to allow these companies to live above the law." The court has given the company 3 weeks to make the full payment of the rubles to both regions and has ordered for the cleanup to begin asap.

The city of Mogilev is still under attack by PRA rebels as they went head to head with the Mogilev Front. The fighting continued even after they had been pushed outside of the city limits and back towards the woods. They are being hammered from both sides as soldiers are fighting inside the forest surrounding the city. Soldiers from the Regions of Brest and Minsk have been sent into the region to fight as well, but only 200,000 between both of them were mustered. Territorial Defense Forces were also sent into the region.

The Battle of the East Sea ended as the final rebel ship sank at 5:43am this morning. 12 rebel and 5 Bielarusian ships sank during the battle and over 2,000 people were killed in all. The remaining ships have been sent to ports for repairs, to refuel, and reequip on weaponry. President Matinova said that it was a huge victory for our navy seeing as control of the East Sea is vital for any resources to get into the country. The Prime Minister announced a little while later that the East and South Fleets will be reinforced with more ships and receive 2 aircraft carriers each.

The city of Lida in the Grodno Region was declared a secure city today when soldiers of the Fifth Bielarusian Front entered the city and wiped out all remaining PRA rebels. The city is going to have to be rebuilt in many different areas due to much of the outer city being destroyed. Presidential Councillor of Regions, Valentina Babyenka, announced that she will fly to the city and to the city of Grodno to talk to their leaders about how the federal government can rebuild the city.

Our final story, it was announced that the city of Baranovichi and the bridge around the city is nearing completion of rebuilding. A spokesman for the President of Brest Region, where Baranovichi lies, said that the city was mostly rebuilt quickly due to the dedication of the people and the humanitarian workers to get the city going again. "The people of this city definitely are deserving of living in a hero city cause they are the heroes of the region and of this city."

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Mikhail Aleksandrov bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus.

Our top story takes us to Minsk where police have revealed the name of the attacker that they captured. 15 year old Aleksander Petrov was revealed as the potential attacker against the Minsk National Arena. Police Commissioner Reza Alekseev spoke regarding Mr. Petrov in the following way, "He is a native of Minsk who has never had a criminal record in any part of the country. He went to church every Sunday, played football for his school, and was an avid Minsk FC fan. He even attended their first game at Minsk National Arena. We do not understand how a 15 year old could have gotten caught up into this. We are going to recommend to prosecutors that he either be given a slap on the wrist or a small sentence." Prosecutors later announced that they would not be filing formal charges but that it is in the hands of the federal government to decide now.

gasBielarus executive Darya Konstantinov announced yesterday afternoon that the company is making preparations to pay for a 1.5 billion dollar clean up of the Sozh River. "On behalf of the entire company, I wish to apologize to the people of the Vitebsk and Gomel Regions for our ignorance in repairing the pipeline when it needed it most. We will be cleaning up the Sozh River starting tomorrow morning and we will pay the reparations to the regions. Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to avoid another disaster such as this from occurring." Mrs. Konstantinov maintains her innocence saying that she was ill informed of the pipelines needs.

The Bielarus Song Contest was underway again last night as competitors took to the stage at Vitebsk Arena for the bootcamp rounds. 450 of the 3,000 competitors sang and 275 of them were chosen to advance to the next round. Most of the competitors sang songs that have already been written, but one preformed a song that he had written that was an instant favorite for the judges and people. Baranovichi native Aleksey Mikhailov sang a song entitled ня перастаюць верыць, which has no official translation, but it was an instant hit for the judges and people watching in the stadium. Aleksey's mentor Arsenie said that he was amazed by his contestants vocal pitch. "I have never heard a guy who could hit such a high pitch. I am definitely impressed by him and glad that I am his mentor." All four judges said yes at the same time. Aleksey had the following to say, "I am so glad that they enjoyed my song so much. It took me months to write and I just wasn't sure how it was going to come out."

Army Chief of Staff Alexei Saborov spoke before a joint session of Parliament yesterday regarding the war and the role that politicians play in it. He had the following to say, "This is not a war that will only be fought with weapons. This is a war that will be fought on paper, with words, and with the choices that our politicians make. I am asking of you, the Representatives and Councillors of our great Republic, help us end this war. We cannot win this war without our governments backing. Help us to help our country. As it is our duty to fight and defend our country, it is your duty, to your country and to the people you represent to defend our nation by supporting your military. I know that you are not sure of whether to trust the Army and Air Force following the attempted coup earlier this year, but if you put your trust in those who your represent, put your trust in me as and your Army as well." Following the speech, the Parliament approved more funding for the Army.

The Bielarusian Humanitarian Foundation announced that much of the outer parts of the island of Nikolsk are nearing completion. Chairman of the foundation, Alesandra Orolova, stated the following yesterday morning, "Through the cooperation of the natives of the island, our foundation, and the military, we have been able to rebuild most of the island quickly while ensuring that the buildings are safe and up to the standards of the country. We are excited to see what will come of this. It will not be an easy task to complete the rebuilding, but I am certain, that with hard work and devotion, that we can rebuild, or even make, a great island."

The bridge in Baranovichi was reopened at noon yesterday and over 50,000 cars have already traveled across the bridge. Presidential Councillor Aliaksandr Sokolov was there to reopen the bridge and gave it the following dedication, "This bridge is dedicated to the people of Baranovichi and to the people of the country who wish to make a better place to live for our people and to see our country thrive." President Matinova said she was pleased to hear that the bridge was reopen to traffic and that she expects to travel to the city in a week.

An independent member of the Grodno Regional Parliament gave a speech yesterday that definitely aroused the attention of the region and the country. The MP, Ruslan Zima, gave the following speech yesterday, "We are a strong willed people who have the resources to fight back against the PRA, but yet we do not do so. I ask our government, why do we not fight back? Are we afraid to do so? Do we think that we will fail? Why do we sit back and watch what happens? People are losing their lives every day because we do not fight. I will not stand for it anymore. I am asking all members of the Grodno Regional Parliament to open their eyes and realize that we must take the fight to the enemy. If not, there will no longer be a Bielarusian state." Following the speech and a standing ovation, the Regional Parliament approved of a bill to deploy all Grodno Regional Defense Force and Grodno State Police units to fight in the war or to areas of defensive position in the Grodno Region. The Bill was immediately signed by the President of the Region. Prime Minister Nigmatulin said, "It is one of the most impressive speeches I have heard in a long time. He definitely knows what he is talking about and we must act now."

Fighting is still raging around the city of Mogilev even as the PRA rebels are surrounded by Bielarusian soldiers on many different sides. Tanks of the Fifth Tank Army arrived in Mogilev around 3am and have been pounding enemy positions ever since. It is unknown at this time how they are holding out but they are still able to fight on. The Joint Chiefs of Staff are going to be meeting today to discuss a plan of action against the city to retake it.

Economic Affairs Minister Vladimir Amarin announced yesterday that the Bielarusian economy has grown nearly 10% in the past 2 months. He said that the majority of the economic growth came from the defense and agricultural sectors, amounting to 8% between the two. "Our country is still going on as normal even though the war is going on. There has been much destruction caused by this war, but nothing that our country will not be able to sustain against."

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here. Da sustrehchy!

Dobry vechar East Pacific! This is Aliaksandr Hailo bringing you the evening news from Respublika Bielarus!

Happening right now in Vitebsk at North Bielarus Arena is one of the largest and most waited for football matches of the year. Viciebsk FC is taking on FC Hrodna. These two teams are the top 2 teams in the entire country. Over 120,000 people, nearly two times the original capacity limit, are in attendance. At last check, Viciebsk FC was winning 2-1 with 50 minutes remaining in the game. Whoever wins this match will win the coveted Bielarus Super Cup.

Turning now to the island nation of Braslaw where rebuilding from the rebel attack is occurring. 50,000 soldiers were deployed by order of the Joint Chiefs this morning with nearly 500,000 tons of building supplies. A spokesperson for the President of the island said that most of the supplies would go to cities of Braslaw, Fernandina, and Akmolinsk. So far, 25,000 people who had to flee their homes have returned to the island to show the government where there properties were at. According to the Presidential Councillor of rebuilding, "Most people in these islands do not have insurance, so they basically have lost everything. We will help them rebuild and get all of their papers back again. We won't leave them hanging."

Tomorrow night, another round of the boot camp for the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest will take place. 450 more will compete and 275 will advance into the first live week, same as the last time. The difference with this round is that contestants were allowed to reveal and sing the song that they are going to sing at the Boot camp already. One singer, Sasha Ubckova of Mogilev, wrote her own song entitled прывід (pryvid), and it was an instant hit among people, gaining 22.5 million views over the internet in less than 2 hours. Sasha told us that she did not expect to see that many people watching her video but that she was honored and couldn't wait to preform in front of the judges.

The Constitutional Court of Bielarus ruled 10-0-1 to render the New Regions Act, that was sponsored by the opposition, null and void. Speaking on behalf of the court, Minister of Justice Tatiana Meribeva said that the act violated the Constitution and was not for the good of the country, but was for the good of vote buying. "There is no need for more regions. My Ministry and the Courts will not support any federal attempt to change our nations sacred regions. We have the Regions and that is all we need, nothing more." Following their decision, President Matinova swore to never violate the regions again and told Parliament that if any similar bill is brought before her that she will strike it down.

PRA soldiers surrendered outside of the City of Mogilev as Grodno, Gomel, and Mogilev Territorial Defense Forces made one final push against them. Over 125,000 soldiers surrendered. Casualties on both sides were high. The PRA lost nearly 1,000,000 soldiers while the Bielarusian Forces lost 476,000. President Matinova said that all that fought there will be recipients of the Blue Star of Vitebsk Award. The Minister of Defense said that all Rebel soldiers would be sent to prison but that they would not receive harsh treatments.

Yesterday we announced that 15 year old Aleksander Petrov, accused of a possible terrorist activity against the state, would not be receiving charges. President Matinova, after speaking to the Ministry of Justice, agreed with Minsk prosecutors that charges would not be filed against Aleksander and that he will be released into the protective custody of his family. Aleksander gave a statement after being released by saying the following, "I am so sorry for what I was about to do to our country. I do not know what came over me but it is something that I will have to bear my whole life. I thank the government for forgiving me and I hope the people will as well." He later promised that once he got out of high school that he would dedicate his life to helping victims of terrorism and other atrocities.

The cleanup of the Sozh River began earlier today as gasBielarus executive Darya Konstantinov ordered for the complete cleanup of the river. They are joined by Disaster cleanup company Bielarusdc, a private NGO. The cleanup is expected to take five months time give or take a few. Madam Darya declared a 50 billion ruble cleanup would be made and that she would personally oversee the cleanup and the rebuilding of the Gomel-Vitebsk Pipeline but in a different area. The governments of both regions refused to allow another land to be given and decided that the pipeline would stay over the Sozh River but would be monitored instead by the Governments of the regions.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Dmitry Ortega bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus.

Our top story this morning, President Slava Matinova announced from the Presidential Palace that the position of Prime Minister would be changed. "Over the terms of the past Presidents, each one has tried to change the Prime Minister position in some way. This time, I decided to hold an opinion poll of the people of the country and the results were stunning. I have decided to listen to the will of the people. From this day forward, the position of Prime Minister will be known as Chancellor. I have instructed the Parliament and the Courts to begin reviewing if the change is legal and if they rule in agreement then the position will be changed." The Constitutional Court later announced that changing the name of the position was legal since it didn't violate any terms of the Constitution.

Chancellor Nigmatulin is expected to visit Aleksander Petrov, the would-be Minsk Bomber. She said that the reason for the visit is to let him know that the Government forgives him. "Like so many other teens in our country, their future is unknown. They do not know what will happen the next day, no one does. The teens of our country however are swayed easily by the PRA rebels and that is something we must counter. I do not know yet how we will do such, but we will find a way." The Chancellor is going to take Aleksander to lunch and discuss his plans for the future as he told us.

The Constitutional Court of Bielarus announced earlier today that they would be asking for the Parliament and Presidency to make the Constitution larger. A spokesman for the Court said the following, "The Constitution of our country is only twenty-two articles, far less than the previous Constitution. The Court is requesting that the Constitution be broader, so that they can actually rule on what needs to be ruled on. Twenty-two articles does not give the court much breathing space to rule on different cases." President Matinova responded with the following, "I hear the worries of the court and take them into account. I have instructed the Ministry of Justice and the Parliament to make the Constitution larger so that the duties of the different government functions can be known."

The match between FC Hrodna and Viciebsk FC concluded with Viciebsk FC winning 5-4. Viciebsk FC took home the prized Bielarus Super Cup. Viciebsk FC captain Ailexey Bukorov said that the victory was not for the team but rather for Vitebsk. "This is the first time in 10 years that we have won this cup. On behalf of the team, I would like to dedicate it to Vitebsk, our glorious capital." The mayor of the city, Tatiana Bulyanova, accepted the cup and declared that it would be placed on display at city hall.

As we mentioned last night, the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest continued as 450 competed and 275 were pitted through to the first live week. We mentioned that a specific person named Sasha Ubckova wrote and sang a song entitled Pryvid. 3 of the 4 judges voted to put her through with the fourth saying that they just didn't think it was a good song. Sasha said that she was very happy with the result even though the fourth judge didn't believe in her. She was later pitted into Team Arsenie.

It was announced this morning that the Navy of the PRA has been fully eliminated and that all of their naval ports were destroyed. The Southern, Western, Northern, and Eastern fleets hunted down the PRA navy and their ports and blew up all of them. The Joint Chief of the Navy announced that the hunt had been on for weeks including before the war even began. The Joint Chief of the Air Force later announced that 25% of all PRA Airfields had been destroyed.

Our final story, the Chief of Staff of the Army and the Chief of Staff of the Marines are traveling to Gomel Region to oversee the building of the new tanks by armorRB. The two were tasked by the President to travel there and ensure that the building is going as planned. While they are there, they will visit military hospitals and travel to visit cadets at the Gomel Military Academy right outside of Gomel.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here.

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Oksana Bordyuh with the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story this morning, the guns remained silent for the most part across the country, except for a few sporadic attacks that were quelled. President Matinova cited the main reason for this as being the recapture of the City of Mogilev and the destruction of the PRA Navy and most of the Air Force. "We have got them in a position now to where they will either have to surrender or have to sit down with us for peace talks, whichever one comes first. I believe that they will sit down for peace talks eventually and we will be willing to hear what they have to say." A few hours later, the Head of the PRA ordered for all bombings and acts of terrorism to stop.

Chancellor Nigmatulin met with Aleksander Petrov yesterday and had lunch with the teenager at незалежність, a well known restaurant in Minsk. They discusses his bright future and he even stated that he wished to go to the University of East Bielarus, which has its primary campus in Gomel. He told the Chancellor that his family would never have the money for him to be able to go there, which is major in Minsk nowadays. The Chancellor said that she would help him pay for the ability to go to the University if he really wished to go there. She later remarked, "He is a regular teen with a bright future. I still do not understand how he could have gotten mixed up in this, but I assume it happens when they promise you money and whatever you want if they win the war. Seeing as he didn't kill anyone and really didn't do any wrong, I believe the country should forgive him and I think they will if they really got to know him." After the meeting with the Chancellor, Aleksander was extended an invitation to the Presidential Palace in Vitebsk where him and his family will meet the President and be given a state dinner.

The House of Representatives proposed a bill yesterday which would change the political scene of Bielarus forever. The bill, which was proposed by MP Tatiana Buroveska, would change the administrative capital to Vitebsk and the economical capital would become Minsk. Tatiana spoke to us saying, "It is basically just a reverse of the current Constitution. It is just a shift of power, making Vitebsk administrative and Minsk economical. It is not that big a deal honestly." After much debate, it was decided to remove Minsk from it all together. The bill passed in the lower house 550-100-25 and passed on to the Council of the Republic. In the Council of the Republic, the bill died when 457 members voted against changing the current status. The Vice-Chairman of the Council, MP Aliksandr Ramanchuk of Lida's 1st District, said, "We will not allow them to change the history of our country. It is not right in any way. Minsk has been our capital for hundreds of years and they are not going to change that. If the House of Representatives sends any more stupid bills like this, we will stop any legislation that they send to us. They are elected to represent the will of the people, we are as well, but we are to keep them in check." The Speaker of the House said that no more bills of such would be allowed to go to the Council of the Republic and the Constitutional Court later rendered any attempt to remove Minsk as capital will be stopped.

Presidential Councillor of Territories, Mikhail Hordonov, will travel to the islands of Braslaw, Koper, Lahoysk, Dzyarzhynskaya, Babyusk, Vileyka, Maryina Horka, and many others as part of a plan to see the rebuilding of the islands and increase in their defenses. The Councillor will first travel to Koper and inspect defenses there and will then travel to Dzyarzhynskaya and oversee rebuilding operations there. This will be the first visit of any Territorial Councillor to the islands of the country.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Our top story this morning, people took out into the streets of Vitebsk to protest taxes, police brutality, government corruption, and substandard wages. Nearly 500,000 people took out into the streets starting at 10 AM this morning. After the protest began, Minister of State, Alexei Trukov, order the deployment of беркут in an attempt to fight off the protesters, but they were forced to withdraw after the people began setting fires. President Matinova then signed the articles of removal to remove the Minister from his position for violating the Constitution. The people are calling for new Parliamentary elections and for new Presidential elections. The Leader of the Opposition, Vitaly Perokov, announced that the protest will continue until the government's meet their demands. "We will continue to protest and will not give in no matter what they send to stop us."

Following the removal of the Minister of State, Chancellor Nigmatulin has proposed 5 different people, of which, only 1 was accepted to be debated in Parliament. The only one that was accepted was Nikola Torpilov, a former soldier and commander of the First Bielarusian Brigade during the First Civil War. Of the 675 members of the House, 425 voted to have him come and speak before the House and Council. We were able to get a statement from Nikola in which he said, "I am very excited to speak before the House and Council but I am not expecting anything. If they want me as Minister that is fine, if not, I hope they find another good one." When we asked him what his response to the protest would be he told us, "I fully believe that they are in their Constitutional Right to Protest and if Parliament makes any law to try to stop them from being allowed to, I will not deploy any беркут or any Internal Troops to quell the protest seeing as they are doing nothing wrong." He will speak to Parliament on Monday.

Singer/Songwriter Anastasia Vinnikova released her first Ukrainian Language song yesterday. It is entitled, Ей-форі-Я, and is one of the first Ukrainian songs ever written by a Bielarusian singer. The song is about a woman who is sent to prison and the hardships, including torture and starvation, that she endured while there and how she overcame it. She released the song at Independence Square in Vitebsk, where the protest are currently taking place, which got the government to thinking that she pre-planned to release the song when the protest started. The protesters responded strongly to the song by cheering it on and asking for her to preform more. She responded to the press by saying that, "The song is not meant to protest anything. It just happens to be a coincidence that I preformed the song at the same time as the protest beginning. While I am a patriot of my country and support the protesters, I will not compromise anything including my position as a mentor on the panel of our nation's song contest." After that, she refused to comment anymore, but rather went online to MyBook and stated that she would join in on the protest and that if she has to, she will back out of the contest. President Matinova responded to this by saying that she will not have to back out of the show and that the Government actually quite enjoys her song.

The Presidential Councillor of Territories Mikhail Hordonov arrived on the island of Koper last night and is expected to meet with leaders of the islands government. The leader of the Government of Koper, President Oksana Smeyuhka, greeted the Councillor at the Airport in its capital of Kopal. They then traveled to the Presidential Palace on the island and they spoke about restoration of the islands economy, defenses, and culture, seeing as most of the people had to be resettled after hurricanes and attacks occurred. In a joint press conference, President Smeyukha said, "We are dedicated to rebuilding the island at all cost and we will do so in a timely manner. The protection of our people and their well-being is our top priority."

The war continued today when the first attacks in the Grodno Region were seen. Rebels attacked at the capital city of Grodno and nearly eliminated the defenders there until they were pushed out by Grodno Territorial Troops. The President of the Region declared a state of emergency in the region and ordered for all troops to be deployed to the city and the nearby areas. Over 500,000 soldiers were deployed to the city under order of the President of the Region. The Minister of Defense ordered for all of the 250 RB-100's that were made at the end to be deployed to the city until Centurion's can arrive in the city.

Elections in Mogilev, Baranovichi, and Brest are expected to take place on Monday following the Constitutional Court's decision to declare their previous results invalid. Originally it was decided that the same candidates will take part in the election, but many parties decided to change their candidates, and 4 more parties joined the ballot including Ukrainian-Minority party Our Land and Bielarusian Conservative Party, Christian Democratic Union of East Bielarus. The parties both have 5 candidates in each city. Both parties leaders are running for election in Baranovichi. 35 seats will be elected in the House, while 25 will be given in the Council of the Republic.

The University of West Bielarus has opened a campus in the city of Maladziečna, the fourth largest city in the Minsk Region. The campus will mostly be used for the School of Medicine and the School of Law, but it was also feature a new set of dorms and apartments for the school there. This is the first campus in the Minsk Region and the first outside of Brest and Grodno Regions. The President of the overall school, Dmitry Kovanlov, said that he was glad that Maladziečna was willing to open a new school there and that the city would prove a valuable asset to the school.

Our final story for the morning, the Government of the Mogilev Region was dissolved two days ago when the President and the Prime Minister both resigned. This left the Region without a government for 48 hours until President Matinova declared an interim government in the Region. The President and Prime Minister resigned amidst accusations that they supported the PRA and were even part of their Government. The Ministry of Justice informed us that they were both arrested around midnight and that they would be going to trial in a matter of days. Elections are scheduled to take place on November 15th.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here this morning!

Breaking News Story:

This is a breaking News Story from Respublika Bielarus News Now. We now go live to Alexander Dmitrov in Vitebsk.

As mentioned above this is a breaking news story. Protesters in Vitebsk stormed the Vitebsk Administrative Hall and took it over following the deployment of Bielarus Territorial Defense Forces as ordered by the Minister of Defense. The Ministry released a statement saying that, "While they have the right to protest, we have the right to ensure the domestic good." After the army was deployed, protest erupted in Minsk, Grodno, Mogilev, Baranovichi, Kopal, Nikolsk, Kletsk, Fernandina, Lida, Brest, and Gomel. The leader of the Grodno Protest, Regional opposition leader Stanislav Vuchescu, told us, "They can send every army unit they want as us, we will continue to fight back. What they are doing violates Constitutional Law. We will not stand for this. We will continue to fight against oppression and fight for our rights as our ancestors did." In Grodno, Members of the Parliament and even members of the Regional Defense Force has joined in on the protest. We talked to a group of members of the Grodno Defense Force who told us, "We will not fire any shells against our people. Our motto is, "Defense For the People" and that is what we are doing. We will be their army, not the army of a corrupt government. The Minister of Defense should be removed from his position for the crimes he is committing." Chancellor Nigmatulin later forced the Minister to resign and called off all Armed Units, but it was too late. 25 unarmed Civilians had been killed.

In Minsk Region, over 350,000 people took out into the streets to protest and they occupied the former Parliament building. We are unsure who the leader of the Minsk protest is, but it is known that he made a post online that attracted at first hundreds, then thousands less than 20 minutes after the protest began. An eyewitness tells us, "They, teens, parents, and elderly, are march out into the streets protesting the government's oppression and police brutality. They (The Police), beat us with iron rods. How can they betray us like that? Even while the beat us the people shout, "Slava Bielarusi! Slava Hierojam!"." A representative of the group tells us that they will continue to march on to the Presidential Palace, the Ministry offices, and anywhere else that has used tyranny against us. "We are sick of oppression. They hurt us with their weapons, but they will never kill our spirit to rise up."

In other cities, protest have been mostly sporadic but we have received reports from Mogilev, Lida, and Fernandina that their administrative centers have fallen and that protesters are gaining strong support.

End broadcast.

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Slava Ortana bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, Protesters took over the former Presidential Palace and the Minsk Administrative building which has officially halted all of the political process. People are still in the streets protesting and are carrying weapons and have tanks. The Army released a statement which said that the protesters took over the Minsk Barracks and that is how they got the tanks and weapons. A person who was approaching Minsk told us that he was pulled over by protesters and asked to present identification. He then told us, "It seems to me that they are forming their own police, border control, and military forces. They were very civil though. Never waved a gun towards me or anything like that." We asked a group of protesters in Minsk if they had connections to the PRA and they all answered no and one told us, "Why would we want connections to the PRA? They are against everything that we are for. We want them eliminated. We are not only protesting our government, but them as well."

Protest further continued in Grodno where Protesters and Grodno Regional Defense Forces marched into the Regional Presidential Palace and the Regional Parliament building and declared the end of the corrupt Grodno government. A speaker for the protesters there told us that, "We will continue to march on until the government resigns. We want elections to be done on our terms. We want to end corruption and that is what our government is full of. We also want to see the end of the PRA, but we cannot do that if the Presidency won't first side with us." Same as occurred in Minsk, they took over the Grodno Barracks and were able to get weapons only.

After further protest erupted in Vitebsk's Independence Square, Police were called into the area to stop the protest but they were forced back quickly. The protesters said that they are not fighting the police but that they will ward off any attacks by police against them. Anastasia Vinnikova and Arsenie, two of the judges of the Bielarus Song Contest took to the streets in protest as well. They were accompanied by almost all of the original 3,000 contestants. Arsenie told a reporter for our agency that, "We are fighting for the rights of Bielarusians and for a democratic Respublika Bielarus, where the opinions of all people are heard. We will continue to protest until our voices are heard and new elections take place." Overall, 15 people were killed, making the death toll now 40.

PRA forces attacked near the outer border of Gomel Region and nearly eliminated border guards until reinforcements arrived. Over 130 were wounded in the conflict, 25 were reported dead by the Guards, while 57 were reported dead on the PRA side. This is the first time that border guards were directly attacked and the first time they have been involved in the Civil War. The Leader of the Gomel Border Guards said that while it was a major blow and that he will mourn for their loss, that they must not lose hope and continue to do their jobs. The Chancellor said that they will reorganize and get back to work as soon as possible.

The city of Rogachev in Gomel was also attacked yesterday when PRA forces attacked a convoy of Bielarusian Federal Troops that were soon to head to the islands. The destroyed 5 of the convoy trucks but then the actual battle began. Soldiers of the Bielarusian Army took off into buildings and opened fire upon PRA positions. Artillery was also fired from the rooftops of buildings and they destroyed rebel makeshift bridges and rebel barracks's. The city was soon reinforced by the remaining RB-100's that were not deployed to the islands. The RB-100's attacked behind the rebels and had great success at flanking them but the PRA soon got aid and continued to fight on.

The Government of Mogilev Region was restored yesterday when MRP's Nikolai Stefanovich and Lerika Abuykova were sworn in as President and Prime Minister, respectively. It was declared that they will be interim until new elections can take place in the Region. Protesters said that this was a first step in the region due to them being major supporters of the protest in the region. President Nikolai said that, "We will continue to support the protesters and their cause even though we are the new leaders of the region. That is the main reason that President Matinova appointed us because of our support for the protesters, which is good because regions need leaders that support the people." President Matinova did tell us that she nominated them due to their support of people's rights.

Campaigning in Mogilev, Baranovichi, and Brest continued yesterday and is expected to continue today in the run-up to the election on Monday. Politicians went and visited protesters in all three cities and gave them money and food among other things trying to buy their votes. One protesters in Baranovichi said, "Why am I going to vote for this man just because he gives me something? He is as corrupt as the rest no matter what party he comes from." The people originally refused to take the food but in the end accepted it and some even agreed to vote for them.

Cleanup in the Sozh River is continuing even as many of the workers are taking part in the many protest. It has been reported that the Northern sector of the river has been cleared for the most part and that many fish are starting to swim up towards the top again. Children were spotted throwing food to the fish off the pier. The executive of gasBielarus has even been seen down there helping in the cleanup efforts and even went to the pier with the kids to throw food to the fish. President Matinova visited the area and spoke with the executive and said that she was very proud of the work they were doing and that it would definitely be noted.

Our final story, Mikhail Horodnov, Presidential Councillor of Territories, is traveling to Dzyarzhynskaya island to meet with the leaders of the island, discuss economic reform, and to oversee the arrival of tanks, troops, and other weapons to the island. One of the main issues he is expected to discuss while there is the nuclear reactor that sits near the capital city of the island, Zhodzina. This will be the first time the leader of the island has met with any President or Representative of the President of Bielarus on the island. They are expected to have lunch and visit many schools and businesses so that they can be determine economic and education reform. When it comes to the reactor though, they will visit the rector but it is highly unlikely that they will actually shut down the reactor as it supplies 65% of the electricity to the island and to the island of Braslaw.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here. Dobraja vam Dnja!

Pryvitanne East Pacific! Dobraj Ranicy from Respublika Bielarus. This is Anastasia Charkashyna bringing you the morning news!

Our top story this morning, protests were generally calm yesterday as most people attended church services and spent time with family. Some of the leaders of the protesters said that this was pre-planned for two reasons. The first reason is so that they can reorganize and the second is so that more people might be compelled to join if people who didn't participate today spread the word of it. Even though many people didn't turn out, it was reported that around the country, nearly 75,000 people participated in small scale protest. While the protest were small, the city of Minsk is still controlled by the protesters and any traffic into the city, especially military or police, has been stopped by the protesters and turned around.

A few changes will be coming to our news station here. The first of which is that many newscasters will be returning and that they will sometimes be partnering up. This was mostly due to people complaining about us abruptly taking off newscasters. The second is that, to make the news seem like it is credible information, we will go live to reporters on the front lines every so often or when it is mostly needed. The third and final of which is that we will now be broadcasting in Bielarusian alongside our English broadcasts. The reason for this was following the passing of the Bielarus Language Law which declared Bielarusian as the overall official language, and while we don't have to broadcast in Bielarusian, our executive decided that it would be best for those in our country that do not speak English. This will most likely take effect in the coming days.

Another match took place at Minsk National Arena last night even as the city is occupied by protesters. Minsk FC faced off against Torpedo Minsk. As the match began and the national anthem was played, people were waving Bielarusian flags and shouting the anthem at the top of their lungs. We talked to many people afterwards including one who told us, "We are true patriots. We love our country. We want what is best for our country. Our anthem is one of the best parts of our country no doubt about it." The match was attend by 134,000 people and it ended with a 5-3 score. The Manager of Minsk FC told us that he was not scared about protesters coming to the stadium and that they actually provided security for the stadium. "Our team supports the protesters no doubt about that. We weren't afraid at all of them being there, infact, they guided us into the stadium."

Polling stations will open later in Mogilev, Baranovichi, and Brest where elections are taking place for seats in the National Assembly. It is expected that this will be one of the largest elections in the history of the country seeing as each city has a population of over 1,000,000 and they are high on protesters who want to make a change to the government. Many protesters have said they are going to the election so that they can elect people that are right for their government and especially for the future of the country. An older lady told us that she wanted to elect a person who would keep Bielarusian values at heart including the Bielarusian language and the Christian heritage.

The city of Rogachev is still being besieged by rebel forces as PRA soldiers were able to push into the outer city limits, only to be stopped by a convoy of Centurion's and RB-100's. One of the cities commanders informed us that the RB-100's are proving very useful in the battle against the PRA fighters. The commander said that if he had the chance, he would recommend to President Matinova that production of the tanks not be halted but instead continue. Chancellor Nigmatulin actually traveled to the city and saw the fighting first hand and told us that all there was is hate and destruction. "Why is there hate? These people are destroying the very cities that they want to become leaders of. If they do so, they will never be the leaders of this country. I ask them, in the name of all that is Godly, please, stop the violence."

Our final story, the new campus of the University of West Bielarus will begin schooling later on today following a ribbon cutting ceremony, which President Matinova and the Minister of Education is attending. President Matinova said that the opening of the school is a major awakening for education in Western Bielarus and Bielarus all over. The school is expected to receive around 500,000 students by the start of the next semester and will accept students from all over the country, something that is actually different from these universities. The President of the school informed us, "Most schools, such as ours and the University of East Bielarus, only accept people from their regions of the country. For us, it was Brest, Grodno, and Western Minsk. For them, it was Eastern Minsk, Vitebsk, Mogilev, and Gomel. So we decided to end the bias and allow students from all over, which definitely caused an increase in the number of students."

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here! Dobraga Vam Dnja!

Breaking News. апошнія навіны

This is a breaking news story from Respublika Bielarus News Now. We now go live to Mogilev with Mikhail Aleksandrov and Aliaksandr Hailo

Aliaksandr: Thank you for joining us for this breaking news story. As mention, we are in Mogilev and this story is something shocking. I now hand it over to Mikhail who will inform us what is going on specifically.

Aliaksandr: Mikhail has told us that protesters stormed and took over the Mogilev Radio building and kidnapped fifty of the workers there. Since then, they have been expressing anti-Vitebsk sentiment, called for the removal of the President, and for early elections to the National Assembly. What is the government response Mikhail?

Mikhail. Stay safe out there. What we have learned is that the President called for an emergency meeting of the Presidential Council and the Cabinet of Ministers, but nothing else has been done. The Radio station is still releasing anti-Vitebsk sentiment as we just heard one ourselves. Take a listen.

Aliaksandr: Powerful stuff that is for sure. Whoever is in control of the radio station has issued the following ultimatum, "We want a government as is by the Constitution. Give us free elections in one week's time, or the protest will become worse." We have just received a government response and we now go live to Vitebsk.

Aliaksandr: President Matinova has spoken to us and said that she has dissolved Parliament and called for an early election. She has also said that she is resigning as President and is calling for an Early Presidential election to take place sometime next month. We were informed from the Presidential office that the leader of the Protesters, Vitaly Perokov, will take over as President until the coming election.

End Broadcast

She also dismissed Chancellor Nigmatulin and her cabinet along with the entire National Assembly, minus those just elected in Mogilev, Baranovichi, and Brest. Sasha: Local and Regional Elections will begin next week under an order by the Supreme Court of Bielarus. The order, entitled the Election Ordinance of 2016, will require for each party to nominate candidates for Presidents, Parliaments, and Local councils by the end of the week so that elections can begin on Friday of the following week. The Supreme Court also rejected Vitaly Perokov as Interim-President saying that the outgoing President has no Constitutional Right to nominate an interim President. One of the members of the Supreme Court told us, "Перад тым як праходзяць выбары, часовы-прэзідэнт павінен быць абраны Канстытуцыйным судом." The Constitutional Court than announced Магілёў President Nikolai Stefanovich is the interim President and swore him in at the Vitebsk Presidential Palace. This caused protesters to cheer and attend the swearing in. One protester told us that he was excited at the appointment of Nikolai Stefanovich because he values the rights of the people. Nikolai Stefanovich then announced Член Нацыянальнага сходу па нашай зямлі Kolya Ambriech as Prime Minister, thus restoring the Constitutional Title.

Alexander: The Mogilev Radio station is back in the control of the government following the resignation of President Matinova and the dissolution of the National Assembly. Protesters in the Radio Station were granted an official pardon by the Supreme Court and were informed that they actually did no wrong in the first place, seeing as they were within their ground to take over the station as it was declared a right to free speech. The Constitutional Court informed us as well that no law was in place that could stop them from seizing the station because it is not a government occupied building, and did reiterate the saying of the Supreme Court, that it was a legal due to it being a right to free speech, but did say it could have been handled in a different way. The Deputy Chief Justice informed us that, "Яны не парушаў ніякіх законаў, у адпаведнасці з гэтым Палажэннем. Гэта можа быць зменена ў далейшым, таму што яны зрабілі бясчынстваваць ўласнасць."

Sasha: The current Council of the Republic, which is only 25 members currently, is meeting in Vitebsk alongside the current House of Representatives which is only 35 members, to discuss the future of the country as it stands right now, including the future of the government, economy, education, and even the war. A member of the наша зямля party announced that any decision on the future of the country should be decided by the people but that the war is an issue that must be decided on now. The member told our reporters that, "We must take action to end the war now. This war is something that is unavoidable for the entire country. Whether is be through action that we end this war, or if it be through peace talks that it is ended, then we will see it be so. But, we will not allow for any rebel attempts to think that they will be given government positions or receive immunity by our courts. If the courts make any attempt to do so, then we will stop them in the tracks."

Alexander: Our final story of the morning, the University of West Bielarus started classes yesterday morning and held a big opening ceremony at the Universities Stadium. It was attended by Former Parliamentarians, Educators, Regional Leaders, families, and even protesters. While they did not protest at it, they were actually quite excited to see the school open and many opted to join classes there. One teenage protester told us that he had signed up for the School of Law and Political Science so that, in the future, he could make a difference in Bielarus. It was reported that 50,000 students signed up for the Political school, while 100,000 signed up for the Medical school, while the other classes received a total of 500,000 students, making it the fourth largest school in all of the country.

добры вечар East Pacific! This is Dmitry Korovoy bringing you the nightly news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story tonight, Interim-President Nikolai Stefanovich signed a Presidential Decree declaring October 3rd to be a national holiday. The Presidential Decree, which is #25614 according to the Council of the Republic's Hall of Records, declared it to be the Day of National Reconciliation and Freedom. "У гэты дзень аб'яднаў нас. Мы ў чарговы раз з'яўляюцца свабоднымі людзьмі. У гэты дзень назаўжды ўвойдзе ў нацыянальную гісторыю як наш другі дзень незалежнасці." The President told us, "This day has and will go down in the history of our country. It is a day that is deeply involved in the hearts and minds of our people. The country has had many tests and trials, but this time, there was no test no trial, only victory of the people."

Following the declaration of the holiday, Minsk was restored as the capital city and a military parade took place in it. The Constitutional Court decided that Minsk is the official capital of our country. The chief justice of the court told us that Minsk has always been the capital and that even changing the capital to Vitebsk, or keeping the capital as Vitebsk, was illegal. The Court also decided to revise the laws and make Minsk the only legal capital once more, thus revising the Constitution. The court also ordered for troops to march into the city and take over the Presidential Palace and the National Assembly Building, which they did so. The military parade took place in Minsk and was overseen by the President in which he declared, "Today we are free Bielarusians. Our country is united once more without a corrupt government. Until the elections take place, I am honored to serve as the President of the Coalition Government."

Following the collapse of the former Government, the People's Revolutionary Army, known as the PRA, announced that it was surrendering to the Government of President Stefanovich, which they did so. The PRA surrendered around noon today and over 50,000 Rebels surrendered in Mogilev and over 1,000,000 surrendered in all to the Federal Army. The Government announced pardons for 250,000 of them, but ordered that the rest would be sent to prisons all over Bielarus. The PRA also announced that hostilities were to cease immediately under the treaty that the two parties had signed.

Our final story, the Supreme Court decided to declare the Bielarusian For a Change Party and the Democratic Party of Bielarus as illegal parties thus closing the parties all together. Both parties reacted strongly to the decision, but the Presidency decided that the overall decision to remove the parties was completely within the law of the state. While the people reacted in support of the decision, the government was mostly silent except for saying that they supported for the decision. The government decided that they would be stripped of seats from Regional Parliaments and they would not be allowed to contest seats under those parties anymore.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here.
