Good Afternoon East Pacific! This is Sacha Rumekov bringing you the news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story this morning, the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest will continue with its third boot camp round tonight. 1,250 will compete tonight, tomorrow night, and Friday night. This time, 500 will go through to the First Live Week. This will be the only boot camp round that will have a special guest preforming at it. Bielarusian singer and songwriter Nadezhda Misyakova will unveil her song Сокал, or "Falcon", after all of the first contestants have competed. She told us, "I am very pleased that I was asked to preform here. It will definitely be exciting for me and I do hope that they will enjoy it." When we asked her what the song was about she told us, "Песня ўзятая з добра вядомай беларускай народнай гісторыі. Але, я думаю, што гэта таксама пра дзяўчыну, якая спрабуе знайсці свой шлях у жыцьці праз злучэння з прыродай." We wish all contestants and Nadezhda the best of luck.

It was announced early this morning that former Regional MRP's would be put into the National Assembly as Acting-members until the elections can take place. The Presidency announced that this was being done so that the Legislative process can take place. 475 members were to fill the Council of the Republic, but in the House, only 500 of the entire 675 were added to the already 35. The reason for the random numbers is because most voted need either half or 2/3rds of all voters for a bill to pass. Rather than the Presidency or the courts choosing the MRP's who would represent in the National Assembly, the people in their cities and regions were asked to do so. All that was required was a simple majority, and most of the MRP's came from Mogilev and Minsk Regions.

The People's Revolutionary Army leaders have sat down with the Prime Minister to discuss the end of hostilities. Not much is known about what is being talked about but it is known that there has been some heated issues talked about. The Government has flat out refused to give the PRA any representation in the Parliament or any part of the Federal of Regional governments. A speaker for the Prime Minister told us, "The government is looking for the full and complete disbanding of the PRA and the handing over of all their territories. We already known where most of their land is and the government has made it clear that we are going to look for the rest of it." It was already decided by the parties that the PRA would move out of the island territories and surrender all land there.

So far, three regions have announced all of their candidates for Parliament. The Regions of Mogilev, Brest, and Grodno said that their entire candidate list for the Federal Parliament, as well as their regional elections, were completed around noon today. It was then declared around 1 by the electoral commission that all of the candidates were approved for the Federal and Regional Parliaments. Not a single candidate was rejected. The party Our Land appeared to be the party with largest amount of candidates, with the Conservative Party of West Bielarus and the Conservative Party of East Bielarus having the second and third largest, respectively.

Later on tonight, another football match will take place at Minsk National Arena. This time, it will not have to do with a Minsk team, but instead will be between FC North Mogilev and FC West Grodno. The match is expected to only have about 90,000 attendants and will be protected by Bielarusian Federal Security Forces. This match is expected to be the only match of both teams at this stadium, but that is the same that was thought about Minsk FC and Torpedo Minsk but this was proven false due to them having a scheduled game for next week.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Hello East Pacific! This is Tatiana Koluyeva bringing you the latest news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, registration for the Local and Regional Governments closed less than an hour ago. Each region submitted their candidates to the electoral commission and all were approved by them. The President said that he was very pleased to see that many people decided to register. He told us, "Between all of the local and regional government, nearly 25,000 people are running for election. 15,000 in the Local government and 10,000 in the Regional governments. Each region reported to us that they had around 50 candidates for President and 35 for Prime Minister. It is amazing to me how many people decided to run for office. This is nearly 45% more than the previous Local and Regional elections." The Electoral Commission, which is also in charge of voter registration, reported than 95% of all eligible voters had registered to vote.

A few days ago, we reported the Nadezhda Misyakova was going to unveil her song Сокал at the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest. When she presented the song it was met with thunderous applause. The Judges gave her a standing ovation and they actually said such great things about her. Judge Arsenie said, "We were so excited to see her performance. It was so amazing. Nadezhda has come along way since the "Голас Беларусі" and she is only going to get better." Nadezhda told us, "гэта было так весела атрымліваць для выканання на дадзеным этапе. Я быў так ўсхваляваны, і людзі добра рэагавалі на песню, якая з'яўляецца тое, што я хацеў."

This morning, the President and the head of the PRA held a joint press conference. In this press conference, they announced the unconditional surrender of the PRA. The head of the PRA told the country, "I am ashamed by the corruption that was held over me. This war should have never taken place. Truly, I apologize to the nation and hope they can forgive me." The President then said, "It is our duty to forgive. It is a biblical for us to forgive our brothers and sisters. I believe that for the true healing of our country to begin, forgiveness must be shown first." After the press conference, it was announced by the Justice Ministry that the head of the PRA would not be thrown in jail because he was powerless to stop the war.

The National Assembly announced earlier that when the Presidential election takes place, a referendum on changes to the Constitution will be made. The changes include changing the powers of the President, expanding the National Assembly, giving more powers to the regions, and giving the islands more representation in the Assembly. The President would be changed to the position of Head of State, while the Prime Minister would be declared the Head of the Government, thus reversing decades of Presidential rule. When it comes to the islands, each island would be give 5 representatives and 3 councilors. All of the Councilors and Representatives voted in approval, but if it is rejected, it is back to the drawing board.

Our final story, the Region of Gomel announced that they were going to expand their Regional Language Law due to many minorities not knowing the Bielarusian language. It was announced that due to the minorities that the region would change the act to include many of their languages. These languages include: Ukrainian, Estonian, Polish, and even Norwegian. A referendum on changing the languages will be held when the local and regional elections take place next week. This will be the first regional attempt to change the Federal Language Law which declared only Bielarusian to be a state language. The President of the Region, Viktor Kukurov, said that, "It is in the best interest of the region to give our minorities the ability to use their own languages while still of course being required to know or learn Bielarusian."

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good morning East Pacific! This is Alessandra Vivecka bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, a new political party has surfaced called the Нарвежскія кансерватары Беларусі, which in English is the Norwegian Conservatives of Bielarus. They are a party that only accepts people of Norwegian descent into it. Currently, they have 53 people running for election in the House and 25 in the Council of the Republic. The Party is mainly centered around Gomel and Vitebsk, the regions which it has the most of a population in. In Gomel, Norwegians make up around 46% of the entire population, while Vitebsk is around 30% Norwegian. The Party is expected to have great success in these regions with the leading in the current polls at 50% and 67%, respectively.

Hurricane Nikolai is preparing to make landfall in Brest and Gomel regions in the coming days. The hurricane, which was declared a category 5, has already hit the islands of Koper, Babyusk, Braslaw, and Dzyarzhynskaya. The islands were strongly affected and mostly destroyed in some parts. The Hurricane has caused the deaths of 856 people on the different islands, with the most of the casualties coming from Dzyarzhynskaya, which amounts to 475. The hurricane is expected to be the costliest in the history of the country and so far has amounted to 500 billion Bielarusian rubles in damage. People have been ordered to evacuate from the coasts and anyone within 50km of the coast has been recommended to evacuate as it could cause more severe damage than expected. Most of the country is outside the range of the hurricane, but is expected to get rain and high winds, especially in Minsk and Vitebsk.

The National Assembly is meeting later today for an emergency session due to a small economical relapse. Due to the war, the economy fell by 10%, even though the economic minister told us that the country was being a tiger economy. During the meeting, they will discuss knew ways to get the economy back on track. They plan to find ways to increase the economy in the fields of agriculture, defense, and even small business. Though the government does not have any control over the first and third, they do however, offer classes to help people on them, so they do help in that case.

The final boot camp of the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest will take place tonight. We have somewhat lost count of how many will sing tonight but we do know that it will completely give them the 1,000 competitors they need for the 1st live week. After this round, the people will then decide who can pass on, but the judges do have the ability to save their acts. It was announced, that over the course of the first five live weeks, a judge can use a "save button" 3 times per week, which somewhat does make it a fair competition. This was announced by Head Judge Anastasia Vinnikova, who introduced the idea along with Arsenie. One singer, Alisha Myafova is going to sing a song she wrote entitled Гук цішыні, which has no official English translation. She has been a favorite among the judges and the people.

Since the end of the war, nearly 5,000,000 soldiers have been put into the reserve force, and most likely won't be called into active duty again. This still give us an Armed Force of 15,750,000. This number is expected to drop to around 10,000,000 by mid-next year. After that, the Armed forces will not be forced to drop any further. When it comes to the territorial defense forces however, there has been no change in their standings due to the Constitutional Laws which requires them to have, currently, an unset amount. No region has announced plans to change any of its standing Defense Forces and no candidate for election has made any plan either. Though the military didn't receive much refitting during the war, they are expected to gain many new weapons by early to mid next year. This will include a delivery of nearly 4,500 MiG 16's and 17's. The Navy will also receive 2 new aircraft carries and will unveil new destroyer and cruiser lines.

That is all folks. Thank you for joining us here at Respublika Bielarus News Now!

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Aliaksandr Saravchenko bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, campaigning for the National Assembly, regional, and local election began yesterday when the Electoral Commission officially granted the candidates permission to began campaigning. Over 500,000 phone calls were made, 85,000 flyers passed out, and 37,000 signs were reportedly put up with the most of these taking place in the Battleground Region of Магілёў. Now, you may be wondering, what do we mean by Battleground? Well here is the answer. Currently, Магілёў is the Region that will be giving the most seats to the National Assembly, especially since the city of Магілёў is now its own independent administrative region. In total, Магілёў will elect 170 Representatives and 123 Councillors.

The National Assembly announced that when the elections take place, that a referendum would be voted on. The referendum will be on expanding the House of Representatives by 175 members and the Council of the Republic by 200 members. Most of these new seats will be given to the Islands. Of the proposed 175 expansion of the House, 92 of those seats will be given to the islands. In the Council of the Republic, 97 seats will be granted to the islands. This is seen as to give a semi-balance of power to the islands and the mainland since the islands barely have any representation currently. If the proposed referendum does pass, it is very well possible that the islands will be given more representation in the Presidential Council and the Cabinet of Ministers. While this referendum takes place, Vitebsk and Gomel will also hold referendums on making Norwegian an official language in their regions.

Hurricane Nikolai has began devastating the Гомельская and Брэсцкая Regions and is doing minor damage to the Гродзенская and Магілёўская Regions. The Hurricane struck at the port cities of Нароўля and Мазы́р in Го́мельская Region and at Дрогычын and Малары́та in Брэсцкая Region. People were asked to evacuate to the Capitals of both regions because they lie further inland. The hurricane has already caused the deaths of over 1,000 people on the islands and has killed 20 in Брэсцкая and 2 in Гомельская. The Hurricane has caused the levies to be flooded over and most of the port cities are underwater. Rain and high winds are only occurring inland but it is expected to get worse in the coming days.

The President announced that all sailors in the Navy who fought in the Second Civil War will be granted the title of Hero of Bielarus due to bravery in the war. The President announced this among rumors to decommission many ships in the Navy, which the President, a former sailor, refused to do when he announced his decision on the Hero title. The President further announced that the sailors of the ships: RBNS Polatsk, RBNS Navapolatsk, RBNS Kortana, RBNS Vasyusk, RBNS Admiral Kobel, RBNS Kolyana, RBNS Chavusy, RBNS Mazyr, RBNS Kalinkavichy, RBNS Svietlahorsk, RBNS Zhytkavichy, RBNS Dobrush, RBNS Vietka, RBNS Shkloŭ, the RBNS Vyalikaya Byerastavitsa, RBNS Baranovichi, RBNS Beyerazino, RBNS Valozhyn, and the RBNS Kapyl, would all be recipients of the Order of the Blue Cross and the Order of the Sea. The President told reporters, "Our navy is the strongest that it has been in years. We will not decommission any ships in our fleet, nor will we fire any of sailors. We must keep them just in-case any other war comes our way."

ArmorRB has unveiled the prototype for a tank that they have been working on since last year. The tank, known as the RB 40, is a fast, medium auto-loading tank. The tank was designed to be carried in Aircraft so that they can be deployed into zones of conflict without much issue. The tank is equipped with 40 shells, of which 22 are in the auto-loader. This tank had originally been scrapped when it was decided that the RB-100 was to be created, but the company continued on the prototype in secret. The CEO of the company, Nikolai Lokorav, told us that, "The government was amazed by the power that the prototype has. It is fast, has medium level armor, and the gun had a 86% accuracy rating, much higher than any tank currently in our arsenal." The President announced that the government would place an order for 800 of the tanks following the show of force. This will roughly cost 3,200,000,000 rubles, roughly 4,000,000 rubles per tank. They did also say that the Challenger 17 is still in the process of getting to prototype stage.

It has been a few weeks since we mentioned this particular person. A couple of weeks ago, we announced that rape victim Tatiana was allowed to go home. Today, she made her first appearance since then. She appeared in court to testify against the 5 people that raped her. She gave a very emotional speech that ended up being applauded by members of the jury and those sitting in the crowd. The Judge was even brought to tears following the speech as it was of great passion. The Defense said that she was a very unstable person, but the judge refused to buy into the defenses ploy. The jury found all of the defendants guilty and sentenced them to life in prison, which Tatiana actually asked for them to receive over the death penalty.

It was announced that the first live week of the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest will begin in two weeks, thus giving time for people to prepare for it. 1,000 singers will compete and 100 will be eliminated each week until there is 100 left, in which only 10 will be eliminated per week until the final. The final is now projected to be sometime in February or even March of next year, which is cause for good excitement from the people. The judges told us they were very excited for this to take place in the manner of time that it is because it also gives them time to focus on their own music careers. While the show takes place, Arsenie and Anastasia Vinnikova are both going to be on tour, but have already fixated the dates around the contest.

The would be Minsk Bomber Aleksander Petrov has began his promise to help people across the country. He traveled to the war torn city of Rogachow in Mogilev Region and started helping in the cleanup effort there, which is involving 50,000 people and over 200,000 tons of building supplies. The city, which has a population of 1,500,000, was destroyed mostly on the outer limits. He told reporters there, "I am doing it to help my fellow countrymen. I feel like God is calling me to do this as I am sure He will call me to do more elsewhere. I will not stop until everything has been done here." Aleksander told us later that after he finished there, he would travel to Southern Bielarus and the islands to help rebuilding not only from the war and from the hurricane.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here at Respublika Bielarus News Now! Have a great day!

Good Evening East Pacific! This is Slava Ortana bringing you the evening news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, tomorrow morning elections for Parliament, Regions, and localities will begin. This comes after one week of campaigning, in which we saw, the Our Land Party, Norwegian Conservatives of Bielarus, and the Christian Democratic Union of Eastern Bielarus leading in the polls. They are beating all other parties be 25% and have promised that it they are win, they will form a coalition. The leaders of each three parties met and decided on a list of policies if they win and decided that the Christian Democratic Union of East Bielarus would select the Prime Minister if they are they winner, which could be premature since we don't know who will win. One of the policies that they put on there was the expansion of the Christian belief. The Leader of the Our Land Party, Aliaksandr Kobarov, told us, "We believe strongly that the Christian faith must be kept in our country. It is our sacred faith and we must do everything to preserve it. People will not be saying happy holidays, they will say Merry Christmas once again."

ArmorRB has given the first ever RB-40 to the government to go through test trials. The tank was delivered early this morning and is expected to begin trials tomorrow and will go through them until the end of the week. The tank, which is equipped with an auto-loader, is expected to cost roughly 3,200,000,000 rubles, which will be the second most expensive tank in the history of our country behind the RB-100 anniversary tank. The company believes that it was made in the best of their ability and with the best technology that we have. If the tank does well in the trials, then the rest of the order will begin being filled. It is expected to take 10 weeks to build one tank, but, when the order is filled, they can be 5 in 3 weeks time.

Last night, another round of the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest took place and one singer stole the entire show. Dmitry Voyeda, a native of Rogachow, sang a song entitled Як далёка ты мяне любіш, which means "How Far Do You Love Me?" The song was an instant hit with the people as he sang it in both Bielarusian and English. All four judges voted in favor of putting him on to the next round and he received a total of 987,462 votes from the people, making him get the highest votes for the first live week. The show will continue tonight as more contestants compete once again. Dmitry Voyeda told us, "I was so happy that I got the highest amount of votes and that the people loved it so much. I hope they once more enjoy what I have to give tonight."

Our final story on this slow news day, it was announced this morning that the Presidential election will be halted until after the new year so that parties can elect their candidates and there will be enough time for campaigning. This was announced by the Constitutional Court and the Electoral Commission. The decision was based on the fact that there has never really been much time for campaigning so people just go in not knowing about who they are going to elect. They also said that a list of rules regarding the campaigns will be made. One of the rules that we were already told forbids anyone candidate to mock another candidates family or bring their family into it in any way, shape, or form.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Dmitry Aleksandrov bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, elections in Respublika Bielarus concluded on Friday and the results will be announced on Monday. It was announced on Friday that over 100,000,000 people, nearly 80% of the countries population voted in the election. The regions of Vitebsk and Gomel held referendums on making Norwegian and German official languages and both referendums passed with a vote of nearly 65% in both regions. The people were very supportive of the referendum and they even held parties when the results were announced. We talked to many people who said that they were happy it had occurred because they could now speak their languages in the region. What this referendum did was: make all bills in their language, open TV channels with their languages, and allow the languages to be taught and used in schools.

Oktoberfest is underway in Bielarus. People have been turning out in the thousands for celebrations and parties. While it may not be as similar to the Deutsch, there is a lot of drinking, eating, partying, and dancing going on, which is bringing the people together despite their cultural differences. The President told us, "This is the first time in centuries that our people have been united through their differences. Our people may not be fully similar in all their cultural differences, but they are having fun and that is what is important. The people just need to remember to have fun with their friends and family, but that they need to stay safe through all this."

Our final story on this slow news week, cleanup from Hurricane Nikolai has just now reached the coastal cities of the mainland after the floodwaters started to recede. The water had basically been sitting in the cities but eventually, due to the powers of the Divine, the waters began to recede and the people were able to start getting to work. Former Prime Minister Mehriban Nigmatulin was there with her company, Bielarus Disaster Relief, and got to work immediately helping in getting people resettled and rebuilding houses in the region. The President is expected to go to the disaster zones and help in the cleanup and has even pledged more funds to the rebuilding of the region.

That is all for this slow news day. Thanks for joining us here!

Good Evening East Pacific!! This is Slava Ortana bringing you the nightly news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story, the National Assembly was sworn in yesterday by the Supreme Court of Respublika Bielarus. Today, they elected a Speaker for the House and a Speaker for the Council of the Republic, neither of which have been released to us. It was reported that Our Land won the most seats in both, winning 430 seats in the House and 275 seats in the Council of the Republic. They formed a Coalition with the Christian Democratic Union of East Bielarus and the Norwegian Conservatives of Bielarus, giving the coalition nearly 540 seats in the House and 350 seats in the Council of the Republic, giving them a clear majority in both parts of the Government. The first bill that was brought to the table was that of the islands being given more representation, which was granted to them. 175 more seats will be added to the House and 200 to the Council of the Republic. Elections for these will begin next month so that the islands have time to get their constituencies correct. The President signed the bill into law immediately.

The Prime Minister is expected to be announced later this week from the Presidential Office. It was decided that the Prime Minister would come from the Our Land Party and that only 3 Ministers of the Cabinet would be allowed to be from that Party. The rest of the Ministers will include other coalition members and even, for the first time ever, members of the Opposition. The Our Land Party leadership announced this decision earlier today when they said, "We believe that it is time for Members of the Opposition to sit in our cabinet as well. This will be a great chance to bring our country together and bring our people together." Three opposition parties have agreed to join them in the cabinet.

The Bielarusian Song Contest will continue again tonight. It was revealed to us that one of the singers in the contest is actually a former child singer who, somewhere along the line, lost his popularity. The singer, Alexander Myugachev, is originally from Mogilev and was known for doing many cover songs from other Bielarusian singers which made him most popular. Tonight, he will sing his own song called ліхтарык, which has no real English translation. When the song was shown of a preview, it gained popular support by the people and it is expected to be a shoe in for getting to the next round. When we talked to him he told us that, "I am so excited to be here on this show. It has been along time since i have been in the music scene, but it seems some people definitely like me. Hopefully they will like this song." When asked what he would do if he won the contest later, "I will definitely restart my music career. Even if I come anywhere in this contest, i will start my career again. But with the winnings, I will give it to ensure the rebuilding of the islands."

Regional National Assemblies were also sworn in earlier today and it was noticed that the regions definitely saw very different governments elected. In the East of Bielarus, the Christian Democratic Union of East Bielarus saw a majority lead, winning 2/3rds of the seats in Mogilev, 3/4ths of the Seats in Vitebsk, and 1/2 of the seats in Gomel. In the Western Side of Bielarus however, Our Land and the Liberal Party won the majority of seats, claiming nearly 3/4ths of all seats in the Western Region. The Special Regions however remained rather neutral, except for the Minsk Region, who took a majority Conservative turn for the first time in 50 years. The Islands also took a majority Conservative turn, electing either majority Our Land or Christian Democratic Union of Bielarus candidates. Overall, the Conservatives have majority in the Regions for the first time in 12 years.

For the first time in the history of the country, the island regions were allowed to elect their own Governors. President Stefanovich signed an executive order one week before the election occurred that allowed them to choose their own Governors for the first time ever. This was decided by the President to give them more power over their governments, but to a certain extent. Even though they were allowed to elect governors, the President still appoints a Presidential advisor to the islands to aid the government of the island in their dealings. This is somewhat seen as the government interfering in the islands still, but the island governments have not said anything that would seem as if they are impeding on their own decisions.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good Morning East Pacific!! This is Yuri Domkorov bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story this morning, President Stefanovich announced that Our Land MP Aliaksandr Romanchuk would become the first Prime Minister of Bielarus since the Second Civil War. The Our Land party soon responded that the MP would accept the position as Prime Minister, making him as well the first Our Land Prime Minister. Aliaksandr is the MP for the First District of the City of Mogilev, and he has served as a Member of the Regional Parliament of Mogilev for 10 years, serving half of that in the Council of the Region. The MP told us that he was very excited that he was even in the President's shortlist for nominees and that he hopes that he will serve the country well. "I am glad that the President nominated me. It was definitely a shock when I heard my name called out. I was certain it would be given to a more qualified politician, but I hope I will do my country well." The MP was later confirmed by a joint-National Assembly Vote.

The cleanup of the Sozh River is still underway and new reports show that nearly 79% of the river has been cleared of oil. The majority of the oil leaked in one specific area, but, due to expansion plans around the River, oil spread to the runoff areas, such as the Nogorsky River and the Lake Novobielarusky. gasBielarus and the President of the Vitebsk Region reached an agreement to clean the River and Lake, even though it was not technically the fault of either of the parties involved. The total cost of the cleanup is now expected to soar over 2.6 billion rubles, making it the 5th costliest oil cleanup in the history of the country. People are still not allowed to fish or get in the water for fear of the possibility of contaminates.

Bielarusian Territorial Defense Forces, along with components of the First Air Force and Second Naval Battalions landed on the island of Lahoysk to help in the completion of the cleanup, not only from the Hurricane, but from the Civil War. The Island has seen the most extensive damage of the war, which has been close to nearly 1 billion rubles. The leader of the Bielarusian Territorial Defense Forces South Islands Brigade told us that it will take nearly 5 months or even longer to even move stuff off the island, meaning that it could take 3 to 8 years to rebuild the island. "We are working as hard as we can but even that doesn't seem enough. The island did receive most damage during the war due to bombings and tanks blowing buildings up. A major amount of the destruction took place during the hurricane though. What we had accomplished, is now set back. Hopefully, God will be in our favor."

For the most part, rebuilding of cities effected by the war on the mainland is completed. The cities of Lida and Rogachev were declared safe on Friday of last week and people will be allowed to return to the cities later today and reclaim their property and gain reparations. 97% of the population of both cities had to leave the city due to the extensive damage from the war and the destruction that followed due to flooding and fires. The President announced that he would travel to the cities following the people's return to ensure that the people are safe and that the buildings are up to code.

The National Assembly has began the sorting of their members into the different Committees. The Committee that every member wanted to be a part of was the House Committee on Military Affairs, mostly due to the military being at its largest since the First Civil War. The Chairman of the Committee, former General Vadim Akrokov announced that a bill would be presented to ensure that those in the military would not be removed from their positions, even though most positions were only for the state of war. "We believe fully in military employment. These soldiers that were recruited, they fought for their country and they fought for their families and their benefits. If the government removes them, it is basically telling them they don't deserve these benefits and that they risked their lives for nothing." The bill is expected to be brought before the Council of the Republic on Wednesday.

That is all the news we have for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good morning East Pacific! This is Mikhail Ortana bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story this morning, the city of Kyolvosk in East Bielarus is having to cancel school and the Christmas festivities due to a very low budget and the city basically being out of money. The city is known for being one of the smallest cities in the entire country and work is very scarce. A spokesperson for the mayor informs us that since the building of a nearby dam that the every person in the city has either been forced out of work. The city is also known for being a major farming community and since they aren't getting water from the streams, they have had to shut down all production of crops this year. The city is partially destroyed from the war as well. A student in the town wrote a letter to the newly elected Prime Minister asking for his help. The Prime Minister has yet to release a statement on it but it was noticed that Government officials bearing the seal of the Prime Minister were near the city with Mogilev government officials who own the dam.

The President is expected to travel to the Western islands Monday to oversee the rebuilding of the island. He stated that his reason for going is based on the fact that information given to him could possibly be wrong and that not much progress has been made in rebuilding, even though there is no reason there should be any issues. The President announced that it is his main focus as of right now to help the people out in their time of need. "These regions have basically been wiped off of the map. They are still apart of our nation and it is our duty to help them. I will travel to the regions and make sure work is going as planned. I hope we can have these people home for Christmas."

Our final story on this slow news night, Singer Anastasia Vinnikova released her new single on Friday night entitled "малітва". The song was unveiled at the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest and was actually sang by her contestant Alexander Myugachev who we mentioned a few days ago. He received a standing ovation for the performance and immediately following it, two versions of it, one by Anastasia and one by Alexander were released. Both versions had immediate success and over the weekend, they have both sold a combined 52 million singles, making it the best Bielarusian song of the year. The two will sing it together in a duet on stage later this week in Minsk and then they will again preform it at the Christmas Jubilee in Mogilev next month.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here!

Good evening East Pacific. This is Nikolai Dreymon bringing you the evening news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story tonight, the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest is now in its Quarter-Final and the contest is definitely heating up. Over 800 contestants still remain and we are expected to see many excellent performances out of these numbers. One singer, my brother for that fact, Alexander, is going to be giving the opening performance tonight and will be singing the song стэрэа Сэрца, which was written by judge/mentor Arsenie. The song will actually be sung in English even though the title is Bielarusian. The song was written in both languages but it was decided that English would be the best one for it due to the background of the song, the lyrics, and what they will include in the performance, which we know that a choir will take part in it.

President Stefanovich has traveled to the Western Islands to oversee the rebuilding of the island and to ensure that everything is going as planned. The President did notice that there are issues in the rebuilding and that the soldiers helping in the rebuilding are not actually doing the job they are suppose to. "They sit around and watch while the soldiers that are actually wanting to help does the job. This is not right. They are being paid to help rebuild, not to sit around and have a beer. This will not be tolerated and should not be tolerated by the generals. If they do not want to help, then they can come back to the mainland and serve time in jail for fraud and theft." The Ministry of Defense then released a statement saying that they will not accept laziness from any soldier on the island. "As the President said, they either work, or they will be in jail."

The Prime Minister traveled to the city of Kyolvosk in East Bielarus today and met with the boy who wrote him the letter regarding the Christmas festivities and schools shutting down classes. The Prime Minister, under direction from the National Assembly , gave a 35.6 million rubles to the city so that the school's could finish up their academic year and that the Christmas festivities occur. "We will not allow for any cities to sink so low into debt and not be able to stop everything with education and culture. Education and culture is the top priority of our government and we will continue to help those who ask for our help." He met with the boys family and began talking about having a choir from Minsk coming to participate in the concert, which the Mayor of the city agreed to.

The Prime Minister will be traveling to the Vitebsk Province to meet with many different groups of people. Aliaksandr Romanchuk, the Prime Minister, will be meeting with native tribes, and many other groups, including Danes, Norwegians, Slavics, Russians, Ukrainian, and many others. The meeting will be the first of its kind and will become an annual thing, changing provinces and rotating dates. The first meeting will take place between 19th November 2016 and 12th December 2016. The meeting will focus on many important aspects including minority rights, the role of minorities in the government, and minorities in the workplace. The National Assembly Leadership Council has announced that if the meeting goes over well that the Government will make an offer for minority seats to be granted.

Earlier today, the National Assembly approved the list of Ministers as nominated by the Prime Minister. The Cabinet of Ministers was officially announced this afternoon. Some of the most notable is that the Minister of the Interior is Alyusha Karimova, the Minister who warned President Slava Matinova about the Civil War that last for nearly a month. PM Romanchuk stated that his reasoning for restoring her to the position was that she was very influential in the government then and that she would definitely make a good Minister of Interior for his government. Dima Kokraov was also returned the position of Minister of Education. They are the only two that returned to a full Minister position. Other former Ministers were made deputy Ministers or either sit in the National Assembly Leadership Council.

Cleanup is still taking place in the Sozh River which has become the largest spill in the history of the country. The spill has continued to spill into the nearby lakes and rivers, thus stopping all of the fishing economy in the Regions of Gomel and Mogilev. Though the pipeline extended all the way to Vitebsk, not much damage has been seen in that Region thus far. The Akrana River has also been effected by the oil spill as it has gone into its water way. The cleanup is expected to be completed sometime in the early days of 2017.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here

Dobry Vechar East Pacific! This is Alexei Voseyvchuk and thank you for joining us here tonight.

Our top story tonight, the Quarter-final of the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest took place last night and will continue tonight. As our host mentioned last night, Alexander Dreymon, who is being mentored by Arsenie sang a song entitled стэрэа Сэрца. The song received much praise from the public and he even charted at #2 on the RBS Hot 100 Chart. The singer was passed on to the next round and is actually now a favored candidate to win the contest. We spoke to Alexander's parents since he would not directly speak to us and they told us they were very proud of him. His father tells us, "Alexander came to us one day and told us he wanted to audition at the Mogilev audition even though we live in Vitebsk. He ended up being put through by all the judges which made him very happy. We are so proud of him and cannot wait to see if he wins." We wish him the best of luck.

Prime Minister Aliaksandr Romanchuk has arrived in Vitebsk, the capital of the Vitebsk Region, and is meeting with political leaders of the Region before his meeting with minority leaders. The meeting will take place at Vitebsk Royal Hall, one of the oldest buildings and a symbol of the former Royal family of Bielarus in the country. While we do not know who will represent the minorities at the meeting, we do know that the government will be represented by PM Romanchuk, 3 MRP's of Vitebsk, and the President's of Vitebsk, Mogilev, and Grodno Regions. This will be the first time that any Regional President's and MRP's are allowed to Represent our country at a Federal Meeting with minorities or anyone for that matter. It is expected to spark many more meetings in the future.

armorRB officials released the prototype of the Challenger 17 to the government today and delivered its first order of RB-40 Medium tanks to the military instillation in Rogachev. 12 RB-40's were delivered and training with them began right away. The Minister of Defense and the First Deputy Prime Minister were there when the tanks arrived at the Rogachev Military Base just 5km outside of the city. The company also met with some of the political leaders and they informed them that they were willing to cooperate with the government on getting the order completed and being given to the Army and Marines in the time frame that is predicted.

That is all we have for right now. We will bring you updates as we get them. Thank you for joining us here!

Good morning East Pacific! This is Valentina Kyaborova bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story this morning, the quarter-final of the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest completed last night. The show was watched by over 12,000,000 people, making it the most viewed show in the history of the country. Many different people preformed and in the end 50 were put through to the next round. A major show stopper last night came from Nadiya Kazamova who sang her song Вада Жыцця. Up until this point, Nadiya had not really been one that was watched as closely as the other contestants, but the people were definitely watching her last night. We had a chance to speak to her and she said the following, "The song was about peace and love. As you can definitely see the word Lyubov, or love, was mentioned many times during the song. The song is also seen as a political song because of the English version saying "Water" and "Life", has gotten people to think about the Sozh River. I am overall glad that people loved it though." She ended up receiving 1,520,000 votes in her favor last night, the second highest amount of votes so far.

A bit of news for this broadcasting station. Following this broadcast, we will no longer be known as Respublika Bielarus News Now. Following meetings with the Government and with the board of directors of our parents agency, the Respublika Bielarus Broadcasting Company, we will now be called Newshour: Respublika Bielarus. As well, we will see many news faces on the show, including some who are minorities in particular. We will also feature more news stories that are of particular interest to the nation, including student affairs, weather, health, sports, and politics. We will also give live interviews with political officials, and show live streams from the National Assembly.

Prime Minister Aliaksandr Romanchuk is in Vitebsk meeting with officials who are the heads of minority groups in Respublika Bielarus. Many things have been discussed in the meeting, including allowing for the people groups to have their languages taught in schools, making it easier for them to get jobs by eliminating discrimination in the work place. They as well have discussed the possibility of minority seats being granted to them in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly. This idea has also been proposed by the National Assembly Leadership Council, but it would require a referendum and even after that approval from the President. The President is expected to arrive in the city tomorrow to discuss the possibility of such a grant and then will host a state dinner for the minority groups.

The Electoral Commission announced yesterday morning that the election for President is expected to take place in June of next year and that party nominations must conclude by January 15th, to give enough time for campaigning. We do know that all of the major parties in the National Assembly are going to take place and that two of the opposition parties are going to take place. A spokesperson for the Commission said that they will be reviewing all the information of the different parties and their chosen candidates but that they did not see any legal right to deny any candidate unless crimes or other acts that go against government policy have been committed. "We are standing firm in the politics of the country. We will not allow for people who have committed crimes or are associated with radical groups to run for election. It is a crime if we allow this to happen."

In other news, FC Minsk and Mogilev FC are expected to face off later tonight in the grand final of the Bielarus SuperCup League. Both teams have an untarnished record of reaching the grand final and both also have 0 losses this year, making them rank 1st and 2nd respectively. The teams will face off in the newly refurbished Minsk Arena, which included over 130,000 seats, larger food venues, more bathrooms, increased security, more parking, and larger locker rooms for the players. We visited the Stadium and even spoke with some of the owners of the stadium who said they were very excited to see the upgrades to the stadium, even though it hasn't been open that long. One of the owners told us, "During our Civil War, we saw major damage done to the building and now we were able to rebuild it at last. I am very proud of the rebuilding."

Our final story of the morning and a breaking news story for that matter, hunters are going to have a hard time this week as a fire has began to rage across Minsk Region. The fire began as a small brush fire which then spread into a forest fire. It has gotten so bad that it has extended all the way to the University of Minsk West Campus. Students at the Campus were evacuated for fear that the fire would get into the buildings. The fire however, was quelled around the campus, but a major part of it still remains. The President has declared a state of emergency for Minsk, and surrounding Regions have been ordered to be on a lookout regarding the fire. The Mogilev and Grodno regions are expected to actually be hit by the fire, even though they are fairly far away from the current location of the fire.

That is all for now. We thank you for joining us here. We will see you as soon as our changes go into effect!

Good Morning East Pacific! This is Yuri Pavlov bringing you the morning news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story this morning, Christmas is in the air in Respublika Bielarus as celebrations have already begun. The City of Mogilev hosted its 15th annual Christmas parade tonight, featuring many new themes, and topped it off with the lighting of the Christmas Tree and the revelation of the manger. While some people had protested to the manger being set up, including some city politicians in Mogilev, the President of Mogilev Region, backed up by the Supreme Court, decided that the manger would stay where it is at. Vitebsk will host its Christmas parade on Sunday night, while Grodno and Gomel will host theirs on Wednesday of next week. All of these will lead up to the Christmas celebration in Minsk on December 18th, the largest parade the country sees all year. Over 1.3 million people are expected to attend the celebration.

In other news, rebuilding on most of the islands that were effected by the war and hurricane is nearly complete. The Presidents of Dzyarzhynskaya, Babyusk, and Komar announced in a press conference today that the three islands are cooperating in the rebuilding of their lands. The President of Dzyarzhynskaya told us, "While rebuilding on the mainland occurs, we are being left in the dust. We have received federal aid, but no resources to rebuild the islands. For that reason, we decided to work together to build the islands together." President Stefanovich responded to this by saying, "While we do support the three President's rebuilding, we wish they would not make up rumors and say that we are not helping them." He went on to say that, "We are putting much focus on the mainland that much is true, but it isn't like they are not receiving our help either."

Students at the University of Minsk, West Campus have had to leave the school and go to the University of East Bielarus. The reasoning for this is that the Chancellor of the school ordered classes be canceled due to a fire raging near the school. After the students left from the city, they were informed that the school had burned down. The Chancellor of the school spoke to the students and said, "We are afraid that we are going to have to move all classes to the University of East Bielarus or eventually, the University of West Bielarus. The Campus has burned down completely. We will rebuild in time, but until the investigation into the fire is complete, and the fire is put out, schooling will take place at the University of East Bielarus." The Headmaster of the University of East Bielarus has welcomed all students to the school and has ordered for more buildings to be built to house them, since the school is basically on overflow.

Prime Minister Aliaksandr Romanchuk is visiting the city of Rogachev to oversee the rebuilding of the city. The reason for the impromptu visit is that the Prime Minister was actually born in the city. The Prime Minister's office announced the visit on his official website, saying that he would be there for a week. Our Rogachev station caught up with the Prime Minister and spoke to him regarding his visit. He told us, "I want the people of this city to know that they are not alone. Rogachev is home to nearly 250,000 people right now, with a usual population of nearly 500,000. We cannot leave any city or any region behind in the rebuilding. I have directed the National Assembly to spend 4.5 million Bielarusian rubles on the rebuilding of Rogachev." Rebuilding is prepared to begin in January, after the Christmas season.

Our final story, the National Assembly, under direction of the President and Prime Minister, has issued a referendum about the expansion of the Assembly to include minorities in the government and to give seats to the island nations. After hours of debate, the legislators were able to issue a referendum which if passed, would make the Parliament nearly 200 to 300 seats larger. We spoke to one legislator who asked not to be named and he told us, "If the referendum passes, we will see each island get 4 seats in the House and 2 in the Council of the Republic. If the second part passes, we will see minorities get 2 seats in the House and 1 in the Council of the Republic." The Referendum has major support from all political parties, except for the Communist party.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here. We will see you next time of NewsHour: Respublika Bielarus

Good Morning and thank you for joining us here! My name is Santana Pyvalov and this is my co-host Victor Aagard bringing you all the hottest news from Respublika Bielarus!

Santana: Our top story this morning, President Nikolai Stefanovich has approved of the referendum proposed by the National Assembly about the expansion of the government. The President announced this decision late yesterday afternoon after conferring for 3 hours with the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers. After the meeting with the Ministers, the President walked into his office where they turned on a camera that overtook all TV and Radio channels so that he could announce the referendum. "People of Bielarus. Today, I address you on a topic that has not generally been discussed until here recently. What I am talking about is giving representation to minorities and to the islands of country. It has been decided, that a referendum will be held on January 14th, on expanding the National Assembly to give seats to the islands and to minorities. We hope that you will turn out to vote on this major issue." Wow. Such amazing stuff. Let's turn it over to Victor. What you got for us?

Victor: Thank you Santana and yes indeed that is powerful stuff. As well in the political realm, a bill was passed by the National Assembly last week, and it could have major implications for the country. What I am talking about is CRB. 12512, which was introduced by Councillor Vladimir Ogychevsky of the 14th Vitebsk District. The bill that he presented calls for the President to become the Head of State and for the Prime Minister to be the Head of Government. The bill was immediately passed in both houses, and ended up being signed by President Steafanovich, saying that he believed it should have been done a long time ago. The Councillor told us that he was surprised that his bill was passed but that he was excited that the change was finally being enacted in the country. "Many people across the country wanted the change to occur, and we just ensured that it happened."

Santana: Wow. It is about time honestly. In other news, students at the University of Minsk West Campus have been granted free scholarships to other colleges in the country. The University of East Bielarus, the University of West Bielarus, Gomel College, and Alexandrov-Rogachev University have all taken to the cause of helping the students out by granting free scholarships to all the students who wish to attend these schools due to them not being able to return to their original school. The other schools joined in mostly because of East Bielarus taking on it all which caused an influx of students and caused an economic crash in the schools finances. The school, which generally has a value of 75 billion rubles, plummeted to below 25 billion rubles within the news being released, making it the lowest its been in 30 years.

Victor: So great to see them coming together. Our final story, the next round of the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest will take place tonight. It will feature nearly 500 singers. The contest has garnered many more viewers since the quarter-final and is expected to reach an all time high tonight. This will be a major round as Judges will actually sing with their contestants. While they won't all sing with the judges, they will sing with a select few of them. The judges, the contestants, and definitely the audience are very excited to see how this round will turn out and so are we. We wish the best of luck to all competitors tonight.

Thank you so much for joining us here. It was an honor to deliver your news from NewsHour: Respublika Bielarus. Join us tomorrow when Aliaksandra and Jorge will be delivering you Tuesday news. Have a great day!

Good morning East Pacific! Thank you for joining us here at NewsHour: Respublika Bielarus! This is Yuri Kyaborov bringing you all the current news from Respublika Bielarus!

Our top story this morning, the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest is nearly completed. Tomorrow night will conclude the Fourth Semi-Final and the grand finals will begin next week. The contest has been marked by many upsets and many surprised. A major upset occurred in the First Semi-Final when judge Arsenium had to give up his own contestant since the other judges voted against him. A major surprise came in the next round though when teen Alexander Davyonok sang a song he wrote entitled Музыка моих побед. It was well received by the people, even garnishing over 2.5 million votes, the highest amount of votes ever given during the entire contest. Alexander told reporters that he was very excited to have received the support of the people and was glad they loved his music. "It is amazing that the people loved my song so much! Hopefully, I can wow them in the grand final!" Alexander then got the meet President Stefanovich in Minsk and was allowed to preform the song at Anastasia Vinnikova's concert at Minsk National Stadium before a sold out crowd. We wish him the best of luck in the contest.

Christmas is just a few days and parades and festivals are still taking place, all gearing up for the Minsk Christmas Eve celebration. Vitebsk hosted theirs last night outside of city hall and Grodno and Gomel will host theirs tonight. Each is expected to have a turnout of 500,000 people. Minsk is expected to have a turnout of nearly 2,000,000 people. Many notable singers will preform at it, including Arsenium, Alyona, Uzari, Ruslan A, Anastasia Vinnikova, and many more. President Stefanovich has promised the people that he will be in attendance of the celebration to continue the tradition of lighting the Christmas tree, as has been done for the past 25 years.

The Referendum to extend minority rights by giving them more representation in the National Assembly has been postponed until January 16th of next year, which coincides with a delivery of armorRB to deliver tanks to the Army. The Referendum was postponed due to the Constitutional Court making an injunction barring it from taking place due to the Christmas holiday and a lack of campaigning. The Chairman of the court told us that the election would take place after the new year so that there could be some time for campaigning and for people to actually be able to form an opinion about it. He also went on to say that if the people reject the referendum that the Government has no legal right to attempt to bypass them by making it law anyways.

Our final story for now, students at the University of Minsk were given an even stronger shock today when television footage showed the campus medical center being burnt to the ground, not by fire, but by looters who attacked it. When the President was informed about this, soldiers were deployed to the scene to handle the looters, which were found of to have set the fire that caused the campus to burn to the ground. The Army was given the right to open fire and 10 of the 50 were killed, 12 were wounded, and the rest were taken to prison. When they were questioned, they claimed to be doing it in the honor of the People's Revolutionary Army, the former rebel group. They claimed that many other schools and buildings that are prided to the country would meet the same fate. When the fire was put out and crews entered the building, nearly 500 people were found inside. Over 300 of them were dead or burned and the rest were wounded but still alive. The President announced a state of emergency, declared the borders closed, and also issued that criminal charges be brought against the perpetrators, including 300 counts of capital murder and many others, including treason, terrorism, and crimes against humanity.

Thank you for joining us this morning. From all of us here at NewsHour: Respublika Bielarus, we wish you a Merry Christmas!

Dobry Dzieq! Thank you for joining us here at NewsHour: Respublika Bielarus. My name is Karina Alexandrova and here is the hottest news from Minsk.

It is Christmas Eve here in Respublika Bielarus and the entire country is gearing up for Christmas on January 7th. Minsk has been waiting for days to unveil all of the acts for the Christmas Parade, which begins tonight at 7pm, Minsk Central time. President Stefanovich will be hosting a Christmas party tonight that will end at Midnight when the President gives his Presidential Christmas address. He is expected to cover major topics in the address, including minorities, the future of the nation, the future of the military, the expansion of the economy, and even the strides that the country has made in the past year. We wish everyone a safe and a very Merry Christmas.

It was 3 years ago Friday night that the first official National Defense Act was signed into law by then President Roman Nyakov. This past Friday, President Stefanovich continued the tradition by signing the 2017 National Defense Act into law. This time, we saw a 125 billion ruble expansion to all the branches of the military. The President also signed a law that paved the way for the Army to receive new tanks, weapons, and other weapons. The Air Force was also given a delivery of new aircraft. The Federal Government also authorized the Navy and the Marines receiving news weaponry, and the Navy receiving new ships, but it is unknown when that delivery will begin.

The Grand Final of the Respublika Bielarus Song Contest will take place one week from today, and will conclude the first ever season of it. When the judges were asked what their favorites moments were, all of them responded by saying that it was getting to work with their protegee's. Anastasia said that she was specifically honored that she was able to mentor Alexander Davyonok because he was an awesome kid with a great voice and a big heart. "His love for music and his heart for God and people is just such an inspiration to me and to the rest of my team. He truly deserves to win the contest." The rest of the judges did not give much of a comment, but when we asked if there would be a second season, they all responded with yes, but said that it would not take place in Moscow. We spoke to Arsenium who told us, "Each year, a different city in the country will host it. This coming year, we can project it as being Mogilev. The winner will however write the theme song for the next year and will sing it at the opening ceremony and during the contest."

People in Mogilev, Vitebsk, and Gomel got two amazing Christmas surprises earlier today. The first of which is that President Stefanovich announced expansion plans in the cities and even granted money to city governments and other companies to begin plans to build cities in these regions. They also were given money to increase research in the fields of medicine and science, including a 125 billion dollar grant to Mogilev State University. The second Christmas surprise that they received was also major for the industry in the regions. It was announced this morning by gasBielarus that the Sozh River was officially cleaned up. The Sozh River was cleaned up, but some of the surrounding lakes and rivers still need to finish being cleaned up.

Thank you for joining us this afternoon! We wish you and your family a З Калядамі Хрыстовым from us here in Minsk!

Good Evening and Merry Christmas from Respublika Bielarus! This is Dima Kreskovich bringing you the news from Respublika Bielarus.

It is Christmas Day here in Bielarus and while people are opening presents inside their homes, vehicles are on standby as nearly 10ft of snow has fallen in Minsk. Starting Thursday, snow began to fall across the country, and on Friday, blizzard like conditions were seen. Last night, temperatures drop below the negatives for the first time this year. The temperature in Minsk is now roughly -15 degrees but it feels as if it it -22. President Stefanovich decided to mobilize the Army to send them out just in case they are required. Tanks were seen rolling towards Minsk equipped with snow plows to them. Even on the islands snow plows were prepared as some are expecting 5ft of snow.

Developing Now: We Interrupt our regular broadcast to inform you of a breaking news story. Bielarus Special Forces have been deployed to Rogachev as a train approaching the city was reported as being attacked by terrorist forces. The terrorist were supposedly already inside the train before it departed the Mogilev Train Station because the attack came from inside and no one could jump on based on the geographic locations between the two cities. The terrorist attacked the front cabin, middle, and rear cabins in the train, but were unable to get to the far front where the conductor is due to armed guards being between the front cabin and the conductor at the very front. The 5th Spetsnaz Brigade has been sent to Rogachev while the 22nd Spetsnaz Company has been spotted boarding the train. We will bring you the news as soon as we can.

Our final story on this slow newsday, President Stefanovich officially reopened the border yesterday after a meeting with some politicians. The border had been closed in response to the attack at the University of Minsk Medical Center, in which now 326 people are dead. The President announced that there was no serious threat to the border since the attack was done by Bielarusians and not by immigrants from a neighboring nation. The President did however say that while the border was officially opened, that the Armed Forces near the border would remain on high alert. He did decide however that today for Christmas that the 90% of the Armed Forces would be demobilized but would be re-mobilized tomorrow morning.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here. Merry Christmas from the people of Respublika Bielarus!
