AAF troops perform beach landing exercises on Toron Island

At 8:30 A.M. this morning, Grand General Otto Dominik announced that Expeditionary Assault Forces would begin routine exercises on the Island of Toron, the largest in the Taikow Island chain. He claims this would serve multiple purposes, including to give the Assault Forces more time to stretch their legs and remain vigilant, but also to ward off the TAC(Taikow Anarchist Coalition), which has recently resurfaced on the island chain. Paramilitary forces are also being dispatched to the 24 Geothermal Power stations scattered across the Island Chain, to reinforce the security measures already in place.

In other news, an announcement was made at 3:15 A.M. this morning, stating that the FRA had begun diplomatic talks with the state of Free Syllvin, and that Chancellor Ardis Kane has met with Syllvanian representative Marlus Portan. The contents of their conversation are still being withheld from media for now, but more will be known when the meeting progresses further.

Anarchists Riot in Carthago!

At 7:45 this morning, an unaffiliated group of Anarchists began violently protesting in the streets of Carthago city in southern Adumara. The riots continued on for 20 minutes before Adumaran police were able to respond due to heavy traffic in the area. It took police another 15 minutes to successfully box-in the Anarchists on the crossing of 33rd street and 21st Avenue on the south side of town, where they remained for a prolonged period of time, while police detained multiple rioters. At 8:45, the anarchists supposedly became enraged, and attacked the police forces, breaking through the barriers and back into the city streets. The District Governor called in the ANSC, which began using rubber bullets, armored vehicles, and tear gas on the anarchists. This eventually stopped the rioters, and the situation calmed down. An estimated 270,000 Dals worth of damage was done during the riots, and the City Council is now encouraging citizens to step up and give any information they have about anarchist terrorist movement.

New Admonitor-Class Frigate planned to begin construction

Meanwhile, High Admiral Hugo Vasiliev and the Naval Board of Commissioners have approved 3 new Frigates to be constructed by Halifax Arms. These new ships are the first of a new model of Multi-Role Frigates for the Adumaran Navy, and will be an important part of the DSCF's capability to promote peace in international waters.

BREAKING NEWS

A recent update on the movements of the Taikow Anarchist Coalition has been presented by the Federal Senate. The nation of Latianburg has been plagued by a terrorist organization known as Al-Jaheed in its Litop region, and the TAC has found friend in the Rebels. Both organizations are aiming to see the downfall of their respective governments, and pose a threat to all free citizens of the world.

An loose international coalition is slowly being formed to combat this new threat, and the FRA's Expeditionary Assault Force is traveling overseas to help fight these terrorists, and the Executive Cabinet is hoping this will lead to the eventual downfall of the TAC, and bring peace to the volatile Taikow Islands.

Today'a Headlines

At 1:35 P.M. earlier this afternoon, the last of the AAF's so called "Daisy Cutter" bombs was dropped on an Al-Jaheed bunker complex. Reports say most of the base was critically damaged during the bombing raid, and that 12 bombs were successfully dropped and detonated. This marks the end of the powerful explosive's 5 decade long run as one of the most powerful conventional explosives in the world.

Grand General Otto Domink recently announced in a military insider press conference that the new Halifax Arms MADR-8 explosive will be replacing it in its role, and could possibly be the most powerful conventional explosive device in military history.

Anarchist Riots Continue

In other news, the recent anarchist riots in Adumara have increased in scale, and notably occurring in Annuminas, Carthagd, and Raetia. The ANSC has been fully mobilized to deal with the situation, and will be working alongside local police forces, who will be using paramilitary gear. We'll update you more when the event progresses further.

Blockade near Chianski!
Yesterday at 3:45 P.M., the Adumaran 1st and 2nd Fleets were mobilized and moved to surround the nation of Chianski, and form a blockade, denying any and all military and civilian ships passage, with the exception of several ships bringing limited food from Furnifold. The Executive cabinet tells us this was done after finding out the Chianskians were funding and supplying the Al-Jaheed terrorists in Latianburg, and therefore supporting the Taikow Anarchist Coalition that plagues our great nation. The Government hopes this will help prevent any more supplies from reaching the Rebel groups, and force Chianski to pay for its criminal actions. We'll update you further when the event progresses.

Dedicated Anti-Aircraft System
Prior to now, the Adumaran Armed Forces have had no dedicated AA systems in their arsenal, and would be vulnerable on the field of combat without air support. This has changed. In a recent press conference with Grand General Otto-Dominik, we learned that the Federal Senate had almost unilaterally approved the construction of 240 new HAV SPAAG-12 self-propelled Anti-Air batteries. This will greatly increase Adumara's strength where it is lacking most, and will further strengthen our great military.

Today's Headlines:

Avalon's Interests Expand
During a press conference with the CEO of the Adumaran mega-corporation Avalon Aerospace at 3:30 P.M. yesterday, it was revealed that Avalon plans to widen their manufacturing horizons. Up until this point Avalon had solely produced Engines, Aircraft, Aircraft parts, Satellites, spyware, and cutting edge military technology. But this has changed. It has been disclosed that Avalon will be re-branded simply as the Avalon Corporation, and will assimilate Halifax Armaments, another major military technology manufacturer, and will also begin producing ground- and marine-based military hardware, firearms, and most importantly, experimental power-generation technology for both military and civilian use. With the construction of nearly a dozen new Avalon Factories across Adumara, Avalon has now become by far the most prominent Corporation in Adumara, and one of the most influential and successful in the world.

"Military Modernization Program" announced by Adumaran Government
In a speech done by the Adumaran Chancellor late last night, we learned of a new initiative by the Adumaran government to modernize and expand its current military power. An offer has been sent to leaders of other nations of the world for purchase of 164 AC-A3 Fighter Planes, and requests that any nation interested in purchasing the fighters contact Adumaran Grand General Otto Dominik for more information and negotiations.

Furthermore, the development of a new type of medium- to long-range cruise missile, named the Vanguard Missile. This weapon is launched from a standard cruise missile launching platform, and once it reaches a certain distance, splits into 16 smaller rockets, which spread out and impact multiple targets with extremely powerful kinetic force, while at the same time, exploding with the force of about 1,000 lbs of TNT and creating a massive shock wave stretching for several hundred meters in all directions. The first of these weapons have just rolled off the assembly line, and are awaiting initial deployment aboard a naval vessel.

International democracy conference planned in Annuminas

An international conference on democracy and war, and how the two come together has been planned for tomorrow. The conference aims to bring together government, civil society and business to discuss ways of making the defence policies of states and arms manufacturing industries more sensitive to human rights. James Dhurgon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, was optimistic that the conference would convey Adumara's willingness to update its military doctrine to protect human rights and democratic institutions, and find multilateral solutions to war. The conference will be held tomorrow in the capital Annuminas. (OOC: Click here to attend).

Kuthernburg: Democratic or Dictarorial?

Adumaran think tank, Freedom International, has compiled a report on the policies versus the actions of Kuthernburg titled 'Kuthernburg: Democratic or Dictatorial' ('Kuthernburg: Demokrata aŭ Diktatorajn?') and found that the nation has many contradictory elements that make it a dictatorial nation.

The nation has a number of protectorates or commonwealth over which it exerts significant influence and interferes in their internal affairs. Members of the Kuthern royal family and noble are the national leaders of the countries in its sphere of influence such as Latianburg, Nacata and Atiland.

Kuthernburg had dubious diplomatic connections. It is a member of the Fire Pact Alliance. This alliance is helmed by the likes of Asendavia (a feudalist absolute monarchy) and Celannica (a tyrannical absolute empire). Cognisant of their gross abuse of human rights and oppression of their people, the Kutherns continue to support its programs and aims.

Kuthernburg has proven itself to have imperialistic ambitions. It joined the Auroran War under the guise of "protecting its allies". Kuthernburg soon assumed a prominent role, invading Xagrurg and Yor, bringing the latter into its sphere of influence.

Kuthernburg's shameless streak if doing business with dictators mounts. Kostromastan will give Kuthernburg Free oil for 12 month at the rate of 730 million barrel limit for the 12 months. The country has also been brought into the Kuthern Empire, but has made no tangible strides to improve the quality of life and the human rights of the people who live there, yet it is shamelessly taking their natural resources.

The country has also had a dubious record of protecting human rights and processes of fair play. It has either supported or remained willfully ignorant of Nassad's alledged assassination of world leaders and political opponents. It planted mines in Eidenburgh, Xagrurg, that could have harmed civilians.

The think tank submitted a serious recommendation to the Kuthern government to reform its foreign affairs policy and internal governing practices to not only portray, but truly become the beacon of democracy it claims, but has failed, to be.
