Arbiter of Succession
|
Greetings. You are brought here accused of violating the law of the East Pacific. To adequately acquit yourself for trial, this document is provided as a guide to the laws of the East Pacific, that you might understand your actions and plea accordingly. The laws of the East Pacific are threefold. Firstly, the Articles of Confederation provide the core legal and political basis of our region. They can be found here: The Articles of Confederation Secondly, bills may be passed by the senate. They can be found here: Senate Resolutions Finally, the delegate may issue an executive order, which shall count as law until such time as it is rescinded or approved by the senate. Executive orders can be found here: Executive Orders Be advised that you have the right to present your own defense in court. If you do not wish to do so, however, you may seek the advice of our of our experienced legal officers; all are familiar with the laws of the region, and will do their uptmost to provide you with sound counsel and defense. Their offices can be found here: Public Defenders Your trial, once begun, shall be conducted within this forum and presided over by one of our three regional judges; Kelssek, Caven, and East Malaysia. After the trial concludes, the judges shall retire to their private chamber to deliberate upon the case. The verdict shall then be delivered to you by the presiding judge. Our best wishes for your upcoming trial. |
