Feb. 7th Greetings, viewers! Today, Packilvanian forces moved into Wachovia for the first time. As Milesandia and our own nation pulled troops from the combat zone, the two remaining armies are on the verge of total slaughter. Out glorious premier said in a press conference today: "We do not condone Packilvania's actions regarding the East Pacific nations. Their expansionist policies have jeopardized the balance of power in the region, and they have no viable reason for such a war. While our military is going to remain out of open combat with the Packilvanians, we are standing by in case of future developments. I have discussed our options with the Central command, and we have decided to remain flexible at this time. Thank you." Tommorow, we'll have special reporter Ivan Ivanovich on an exciting new KRECHNEWS special segment entitled: 'Destruction in New Guinea'. He'll be on the front lines with the men of the Wachovian 65th Infantry Brigade. We'll keep you posted on new happenings as they take place. ![]() A young soldier on the frontlines |

Greetings, comrades! Today I'll be speaking with General Brownoff in an exclusive interview, and, in a moment, we'll be featuring the first part of our special: Destruction in New Guinea. now, i present Ivan Ivanovich with his special report... "I began my journey into the warzone only a few days ago. I needed a way to bring myself and the camera crew into the jungle without being shot down or killed. Taking a private helicopter was not an option, as the Premier had declared the entire area a no-fly-zone for private Krech aircraft. Luckily, there was another way. After many phone calls and a lot of waiting, I was able to procure a ride on a Krech army Blackhawk. It was flying out of Base Charlie in Neo Arcadia, and had a very tight schedule. So we rushed to the island and boarded as soon as possible. So began the true adventure. We flew over the sea for a while, and everyone inside was jittery. I was accompanied by my two cameramen and an aide. We were flying without an escort, so if we were attacked, nobody could help us. The helicopter eventually reached the coast of Wachovia, and we flew several miles inland. I'd be landing about 10 miles behind the front lines. The helicopter began to drift lower, and we eventrually found a small clearing in the forest. That's where we'd touch down. The pilot circled the area a few times to make sure everything was alright, and we landed a few minutes later. Everythign was going well so far... |

..."We all exited the helicopter, and it took off as quickly as it had landed. I didn't have time to wait for a transport, so we continued west along the dirt jungle path we had discovered...surely it would lead to the combat area. We walked down this road for about two hours, until we stumbled upon a small artillery emplacement. A group of wachovian soldiers were kneeling in a low ditch, loading and aiming a large howitzer over a nearby wooded hill. We approached them, and they were obviously startled. The commander of the group turned to me and greeted us, and I proceeded to ask hima few questions. 'What is happening here? Where is the front line?' 'There is no front line, sir. The Packs are beginning to advance through the jungle here, but they've got mercenaries and guerrillas penetrating our positions even now. We here're trying to hold back an attack by the Packilvanian...134th, was it?, on an infantry battalion. We're getting thrown back at a few points on the line, but so far everyone's managed to hold. Problem is, the Packs have got air superiority, so we gotta stay under these tarpaulins or we're dead meat.' 'Interesting. Captain, how do you feel about Krechzianko's involvement in this conflict, for the viewers at home?' 'Well, I gotta say, they're being too damn indecisive. It's like, get in the war or leave! Uh, no disrespect, sir. (you'll notice that he's afraid to offend me; I was given the temporary rank of Colonel for clearance purposes.) I mean, they send in a few troops one day, they're threatening to bomb us the next!' 'I believe my military is planning to bomb Wachovia as a defensive measure against Packilvania...' 'Well, defensive or not, they could make up their minds.' So I departed this little position, and decided to try and get a little closer to the action. We waited along the roadside for a little while, when we saw a Humm-V coming down the road. I signalled that we needed a ride, and we got one. It was a vehicle from the 7th Wachovian Light Cavalry. A few soldiers were inside, tired and dirty. They said they'd just returned from a firefight with Packilvanian troops, and were on their way to attack a small village. The battle was planned to be an easy one. A few hummers full of men would move into the village's outskirts, then the soldiers would disembark and attack on foot. Altogether, we had 5 vehicles and about 30 men. So we drove down the jungle path until we came across a wide clearing in the woods. Within the clearing was a very small town made of wooden huts. The vehicles stopped about 100 yards from the town, and the soldiers got out. The cameramen and I disembarked as well. We set up the cameras and waited to see what would happen. the platoon of wachovian troops got low and began to run to the town. A few covered the others' advance with their assault rifles. One man was armed with a large machinegun. The advance group checked into a hut, and signalled that it was clear. As they mmade their way to the next, disaster struck. As sudden burst of machinegun fire could be heard coming from the village, and 2 men flew to the ground. Thr rest jumped and ducked down. Then the battle started. The man with the heavy weapon opened up on the town, only to be silenced in a hail of bullets. I threw myself behind one of our hummers, and the cameramen followed. sporadic rifle fire could be heard everywhere, and it was obvious things were getting bad. I heard a man nearby shout into his radio, 'We need a goddamn airstrike in here NOW! We're getting murdered, for Chrissakes! Broken Arrow! Broken Arrow! Coordinates 12-R56 by 7-913, Romeo Foxtrot Zulu! Get this town levelled!' I knew that we had to leave quickly. We hopped into a vehicle, followed by several exhausted and scared men. The pattering of bullets against the Hummer's armor was audible, and we were all terrified. The vehicle quickly turned around and sped off, but the airstrike began before we left the clearing. I peeked out the top , only to see a terrible sight: Napalm was devestating the entire town. Helicopters and jet planes circled above, blasting apart every hut. [OOC: Play The Doors' "The End" in the background for effect.] The concussion and deoxygenation of the blast knocked the wing out of my lungs, and for a moment I thought I had died... Good morning to you all, comrades! In today's news, we have a few new developments in the exciting war to the south. The commander of small naval squadron in Trioni has announced that all evacuations are finished, and that Wachovia and Trioni are now free of Krech soldiers. Most of these soldiers will remain in Base Charlie for at least a week before shipping off to Krechzianko. The fighting has died down for a couple of days, but it is expected to resume by the end of the week. The Premier called for socialist emulation and solidarity for the workers today, saying that we should all increase work output for the good of the people. We should all follow the example of the workers at the Biyeristock mine, who doubled their labor output last month! And today we celebrate Freedom Day, one of many wonderful national holidays invented by the Premier! The traditional Freedom Day parade went well, with thousands of spectators gathering around Main Street here in Krechenstadt. The army marched around the city, and a number of hilarious and attractive floats could be seen. ![]() We can expect light rain showers across the country this week, but it should not cause any traffic problems for your commute. |

UPDATE! Hello again, comrades and workers of Krechzianko! The President of the Wachovia Coalition has sent a special messge to the Premier only moments ago. While the exact wording of the letter is restricted information, the beloved Premier is about to make a statement regarding this development: "Brothers-in-arms and fellow workingmen! I have just now received a message from the leaders of Wachovia. So, if I may, I would like to say: we are entirely supportive of their army in this conflict, and that the announcement made by my administration earlier was outlining a defensive measure. We are prepared to aid in the defense of our friends in the south, and of ourselves if necessary. I am only leaving the remainder of my forces off their coast for their own good. While our humble nation has but a small army, I am prepared to send any and all forces necessary to New Guinea if I must. On another note, my friends, I tell you all that we must improve our work output and follow in our founders' footsteps with socialist emulation. As the world draws closer to a possible war, it shows how dreaded capitalism causes war and endless death. We must work for the greater good, my comrades, for what if our nation was invaded? Our people would rely upon the fruits of today's labors! so, I say to all able-bodied adults, GO TO BATTLE WITH YOUR TOOLS! Work harder for Mother Krechzianko. And to all young men who are listening now, you must consider the service you would do your loved ones if you joined out military! As war becomes more of a possibility for Krechzianko, we must all consider this..." There you have it, viewers. The Premier has asks all of you to do more work for your country. |

Good morning comrades. There was terror in the streets of Krechenstadt yesterday when the enemy nation of East Malaysia fired missiles of some kind at the city. They destroyed several army barracks, and as many as a dozen civilians died. The Premier has already called for patriotism and increased army recruitment, and we know that Krechzianko's people will prevail. The nation of East Malaysia lies across the lesser Sunda Islands, and has recently become involved in the Wachovian War. After the Premier declared his support for the defenders in this terrible war, Malaysia responded by attacking innocent children with rockets. A squadron of the Krech Navy is steaming south to meet the enemy, while several nations have already volunteered to hold peace talks. The Premier has accepted, but the country is still on high military alert. We offer our support to the soldiers, defenders of Krechzianko. The Premier also said that if a full-scale war should break out, he will institute a draft to increase the army's size. The Central Committee has readied the ground forces, and a helicopter squadron still lies off Wachovia. The PLPK has declared this week a time of mourning, in which we should remember the hero Georgi Petrechna's sacrifices for socialism. The young men should emulate him and join up. Here is a photograph of the devestation in Krechenstadt. ![]() The founder Georgi Petrechna. We should follow his ideals. so, loyal patriots, we should ready ourselves for whatever comes next, and be full of love for our country. |

Greetings friends. Today is indeed a sad day across the east Pacific. Today we mourn a ruler who, though we had called him an enemy, did not deserve to die in so horrible a fashion. The Premier issued a statement of condolence and apology for the death of East Malaysia's emperor, whom he called a 'respectable adversary'. all flags are to be at half-mast, and the army is about to concuct a military salute to him in the city square. We are all deeply saddened by this loss, and the Premier says that he wants peace more than ever. He is still going to fly to Fish Island this week, but will not be going today, as planned. ![]() The Emperor's car after the attack. ![]() A 21-gun salute for the Emperor. |

Hello, comrades! While many are still in mourning today, we must be reminded of the great things here in Krechzianko. For instance, most of the army in Georgi Petrechna Memorial Base returned to Krechenstadt today. There were celebrations everywhere as we welcomed our soldiers back home after service overseas! A parade was held, and many PLPK officials made speeches in their honor. In other news, all East Malaysian nationals are to leave the country as soon as possible due to the recent crisis. There will be relatively good weather today, save for a little rain and some fog. The Premier will be leaving for Quxmata, Fish Island tonight, to begin peace talks with the leaders of East Malaysia. He expects them to help relations between the two nations, and says that these meetings could easily defuse any possibility of a war. He also took advantage of the occassion to remind us of Socialist emulation! ![]() Our glorious soldiers march in honor of their comrades! |

Greetings, comrades! Yesterday the Premier announced that Central Command is revamping the military. General Brownoff said that, as the people of Krechzianko are opposed to the American ideology, we should not allow such extensive American influence in our army. So, the PLPK and Central Command have given all of their old American vehicles and weaponry to the nation of Infinite Loop. Along those lines, the commanders also announced that the army has purchased a huge amount of Soviet and Russian equipment for the 'new army'. Our soldiers are now armed with Kalashnikov rifles and T-34 tanks, so as to follow in the footsteps of the glorious founders (who associated themselves with the USSR). The army will be exciting and new! Hello, comrades! The ambassador to Milesandia announced today that Krechzianko will be constructing a small naval and Airbase in the wetern part of that country. It will be able to hold a brigade's worth of soldiers, as well as a naval flotilla and a full helicopter squadron. Krechenstadt's ministry of Urban Development has begun a program to beautify our streets. They will clean up grafitti in resricted areas, and will launch a huge anti-litter campaign. In similar news, the Ministry has begun planning for a soccer stadium right here in downtown Krechenstadt! It will hold an estimated 20,000 spectators. The ministry of entertainment and recreation is already working to arrange teams. Weather today will be a little wet, but tomorrow it is expected to warm up and become a beautiful day. ![]() An artist's rendering of the new stadium. BREAKING NEWS: With the elections drawing closer every day (they're still months away, though), we have just recently begun to see opposition to the PLPK. While the Premier has asked for more people to voice their opposition, almost everyone agrees that he is running the nation well. However, a few have begun to show political resistance. In the first major move opposing the Committee, the chief resistance party, the KPDF (Krech People's Defense Force) has nominated Vladimir Onassis as their candidate. Onassis, a well-off shipping magnate, has often stated his intent to run for High Office when elections come. His party has been accused of funding violent rebellions and bombings in the past, and they have not denied the claims. Here is an overview of political groups and organizations currently attempting to gain power. PLPK (people's labor party of Kr.): The socialist party, and current leading power. In control since 1920. KPDF (see above): Conservative party, supportive of foreign business. NPK (Nationalist Party of Kr.): Predominantly conservative, supports strong army and national pride. JPP (Jewish Progressive Party): Small and weak, fairly liberal Jewish. NIDF (Northern Independence Defense Force): Middle-of-road, support autonomy for Northern provinces. GIP (Greek Independence Party): Fairly liberal, support Greek autonomy. RIP (Romanian " "): More conservative, same as above but Romanian. Several other groups exist, but these are the ones which are well-known. Many of these groups have been accused of supporting rebellion, namely the NIDF and KPDF. The former is being investigated by the gov't after several car bombings and murders in the last few years. |

Greetings Friends! Today we celebrate Valentine's Day, a capitalist holiday designed to further the sales of paper products. It is also named after a Saint, an obvious attempt at Christian brainwashing. Many have exchanged gifts and cards, and it is supposed to be an expression of love between man and woman. However, the PLPK have announced that we should celebrate instead our love for socialism and the greater good. In political news: as we reported last night, the KPDF has chosen its candidate for the elections. He has already begun to tour the country and the East Pacific, hoping to gain favor among the common people. The Premier has not yet begun to campaign, as his approval ratings are around 90 percent. A bomb was found in a crowded mall in the Northern City of Konstantios. Police said that they believe it was planted by a Northern independence group of some kind, possibly the NIDF or GIP (see yesterday's report). They are investigating into the matter. Luckily, it didn't go off and no one was hurt. The Premier landed at Quxmata today in his airplane. Peace talks with the East Malaysian leaders are expected to be fruitful, and will begin tomorrow. Weather in the capaital turned bad, quite opposite to our expectations. After a couple of days of better weather, we were hit by heavy rain and darkened skies. Hopefully it will get better. the Central Committee has now put a new bill onto the table. Bill 45594JD-A14, known as the Northern Bill, will cut down on certain government rights for the Northern Islands. The small province is seen as the least important, and this bill will restrict native rights there, among other things. If the bill passes, it will be a blow to northern Independence groups. It could, however, fuel these groups' anger and even foment rebellion. |

Good Day to you all, comrades! Today the Central Committee will be voting on the new Northern Bill. It is expected to pass. The Premier hasn't voiced his opinion on the matter as of now. Opposition leader Vladimir Onassis arrived in Krechenstadt today, making a speech on the rights of working people and the importance of business. The Premier has not yet engaged in the peace talks on Fish Island, but they will be beginning soon. The weather is better than expected. It is a nice, if cold and somewhat cloudy, day in Krechenstadt. The rest of the week may see more rain. That's all the news for now! Tomorrow we'll be reporting in detail on the peace talks in Quxmata! |

Greetings, comrades! Today, peace talks officially began in Quxmata. The Premier, along with the ambassadors to both Fish Island and east Malaysia, prepared for the opening rounds of discussion between the three nations. Fish Island's representatives will of course be moderating. The Central Committee passed the Northern Bill 103-17 today. The Northern Island Province's people will have slightly restricted rights in certain areas, but will remain almost entirely equal to other Krech people in most ways. The weather turned for the worse today, with freezing rain overnight and in the morining. Luckily, the rain has stopped, and it simply looks cloudy. Watch out for damaged or icy roads! Vladimir Onassis, opposition leader, left Krechenstadt today for Kelssek, where he will make a speech in Halifax near the Krech embassy. It will be regarding foreign policy. |

Hello, comrades! Peace talks continue in Quxmata, though we aren't sure what exactly is going on behind the closed doors of the meeting area. A man with a gun attempted to fire upon a group of police officers in Konstantios today; luckily, he was shot before anyone was seriously injured. He was believed to be working for a northern rebel group. The Prime Minister, who has taken over during the Premier's visit to Fish Island, has made an announcement. The Free Pacific States and Krechzianko just signed an agreement to build embassies, gain free trade rights with one another, and defend each other in case of war. This is a huge step for Krech foreign policy. In similar news, the ambassador to Fish Island has spoken regarding the peace talks in a brief press conference in Quxmata. "Yes, yes, the Premier is in the palace. He is speaking with several delegates from East Malaysia, as well as the representatives of Fish Island. The Fish envoy to my embassy was also speaking with me recently regarding military forces, and he suggested a possible sale of weapons to Krechzianko for our new army. We are discussing..." That was the ambassador to Fish Island speaking in Quxmata. Just after he made that statement this morning, General Brownoff's aide spoke in Krechenstadt. "Uh, yes, we will most likely be rebuilding the armed forces with weapons purchased from Fish Island. I have contacted the Fish embassy, and they will be responding shortly. If they agree to sell us weapons, we will be handing over all old equipment to Wachovia. The Wachovian envoy has thanked General Brownoff and the Premier for their gifts to his nation..." More on this story later. The weather in Krechenstadt was chilly, with a little bit of rain and snow during the night. a light snowfall is still taking place now, but it shouldn't be a problem. And, lastly, the Prime Minister spoke today in what could become a historic speech. "I have discussed this with the Premier for some time now. We, along with the Central Committee, have agreed that, alongside the new Democratization of our beloved nation, we will slowly introduce new policies of Glastnost and Perestroika. This will be following in the footsteps of the USSR and Mikhail Gorbachev. While these policies failed in Russia, we know that they will make Krechzianko stronger. The people support our leaders and so will not be incited to work against the government, as happened in the USSR. Instead, the world will see more of Krechzianko, and we will be more open. This can be seen through our recently joining both the IFTA and CACE..." Exciting new policies to keep Krechzianko modern and in-touch with the world. See you tomorrow. |

Hello, comrades and friends of the revolution! Peace talks continue in Quxmata today. We all hope that progress is being made. The Premier, during a break from the discussions, appeared at the Krech embassy in the city. He made a brief speech, but one which will be of great importance. "Friends, we are all aware pf the bill passed recently in Krechzianko; the bill which will restrict the rights of Northerners to speak against their leaders. I should have voiced my opinion on this matter earlier. This law, you see, goes against not only the constitution of Krechzianko, but also against the very priciples of Glastnost and democratization. We cannot restrict the rights of our own people, who have lived under the banner of Krechzianko since 1834. So, I hereby declare my intent to veto this new bill before it comes into effect next week. I hope that all can understand why the laws enacted there are against our beliefs as a people." So the Premier vetoes the Northern bill. This could be a major step for those seeking independence in the North. Perhaps now the rebels and opposition parties will be able to unite under the Premier, but who knows? Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Central Command has purchased a huge amount of weaponry from fish Island. The actual amount is classified, but we understand that it is a great deal. The weapons shouls take some time to arrive. The Central Committee furthered their plans for Glastnost and Perestroika today by putting on the table a new bill. It will be bill B14-RT662-Q16. If put into effect, it will create more rights for the people to protest the government and even form independent news media. We urge you not to watch these future shows. Anither bill is about to be voted on, Bill B14-RT662-Q17. It would further turn the economy towards 'Perestroika'. The people will have less government influence in their personal lives, while small businesses will be allowed to grow to a certain extent. This should encourage entrepreneurs to begin work on furthering the conomy. General Brownoff, in a press conference today, indicated that the military is considering an attack on Plot 66, in Southern China. The Plot is centered around the Pearl River, and the surrounding countryside is slightly hilly and jungle-like. There is some good farming land, but the city of Maochi'ang (Mierekhsk), pop. 3,233,000, is the heart of the area. Central Command has already formulated an attack plan, and it is likely only a matter of time before we invade, they say. Weather was snowy this morning, but began to clear up throughout the day. It is now sunny and beautiful. |

Hello, friends! Not much in the news today... Central Command has continued to prepare for the annexation of Plot 66. while little of the new army equipment has arrived yet, the military is still readying itself for the attack on the plot. The Prime Minister spoke briefly, saying that, once conquered, the new Plot would be administered as a territory of Krechzianko. Legislation would eventually be written to turn it into a full-fledged province. A small group of war protesters gathered in Krechenstadt's town square. Long ago, these protesters could be imprisoned for their actions, but the new rule of Glastnost will keep the government from stopping them, provided they don't commit any crimes. The protesters were arguing against the annexation of Plot 66, which they claimed was 'morally unjustified' and 'wrong'. We're preparing for the May Day celebrations, which are drawing nearer. But perhaps more important is the new election, scheduled for April 27th. On that day, voters over 18 will turn out to vote for new Central Committee Members. That same day, the existing Committee will elect the (possibly) new Premier. Then, on May 1st, the new Committee and Premier will be inaugurated. This will also fall on May Day, the celebration of Krech Socialism. On that political note, Vladimir Onassis left Kelssek and flew to Krechzianko, where he spoke at Dzherivvny. He is gaining more support, but still isn't near the Premier. And what he really needs is more attention from the Central Committe, who will be voting for or against him. In the Committee elections, several opposition candidates of various parties have sprung up, announcing their intentions to gain a seat there. Things are creally heating up in the country. The Premier also officially vetoed the northern Bill in Quxmata, at the embassy. He signed the forms in front of numerous reporters and ambassadors, with a smile on his face. Weather is a little chilly, but snow is not expected. The temperature is getting a little better today, and we can hope for spring weather. ![]() Vladimir Onassis, conservative candidate. ![]() A map of Plot 66. ![]() The army on exercises in preparation for the attack on Plot 66. |

Hello, comrades! Peace talks in Fish Island ended yesterday, with good results. Krechzianko has established political relations with East Malaysia, and has arranged for visa and extradition agreements. The Premier will be flying back to Krechenstadt today, where he will go to a cabin in the Dubrovnik Mts. for a short vacation. He'll still be able to control the goverment from his resort, though. Vladimir Onassis appeared at the Capitol Building to rally support from Committee members. A few have offered their endorsements. He also spoke out against the invasion of Plot 66, saying, "This is an act of imperial agression by the Premier, the intent of which is to further his political strength at the cost of Krech soldiers' lives!" Harsh words from Vladimir Onassis. Central Command has continued to plan for the invasion of Plot 66, and with it, the cities of Mao'chi'ang and Zhi'yu. Details are few in number, but we know that it will involve all parts of the new army, working together. This will be a good exercise for the military. Few casualties are expected; the native Chinese probably won't offer much resistance. We now know that the attack will be under the command of: GENERAL KULIKSIOV: Army COMMODORE ANDREVICH: Navy GENERAL MIEROVICH: Marines COMMANDER ABREK'STA: Air Force Weather in Krechenstadt is cloudy, with a light snow falling. ![]() The navy will play a key role in the attack. |

Greetings, comrades! Today there is little to report in politics and international relations. Things overseas have been quiet since the Premier returned to Krechenstadt airport. General Brownoff has not made any public appearances yet, but his aide said in a brief press conference: "Krechzianko has now officially acquired weapons intended for nuclear warheads. We will soon be seeking more such weapons when we deem it necessary. Central command has constructed a nuclear centrifuge in a secret location, and we will begin enrichment of Uranium soon." Comrades, The war in Wachovia has started to get violent again after a brief standstill. The Packilvanians launched a new offensive, while other nations struggled to fly expatriates from Trioni's few embassies. The Wachovians, however, continue to bravely resist, fighting it out against a stronger foe. The Premier is still on vacation, but has been controlling most national affairs from his large cabin in the Dubrovniks. He has said that, since the Malay affair, he is going to try not to involve Krechzianko in the war. He also says, however, that as the war grows, Krechzianko's chances of joining in do as well. Weather today is cloudy, but with no precipitation. |

Hello, comrades. Krechzianko is on high alert today after the Father of PAckilvania announced his intentions to invade any nation funding rebels in Trioni. this was obviously aimed, at least partially, at our glorious country. The Premier refused to back down, and released this statement: "Friends, the time has come. The Packilvanian imperial war has gone on long enough, their evil power expanding now to Indonesia. Already they have conquered the free nation of Trioni, and now they invade the Wachovia Coalition's territory. How much longer must this madness continue? I have discussed the matter of the war with my highest-ranking advisors, and we have made our decision: The People's Republic of Krechzianko will hereby remain on the alert for any and all Packilvanian aircraft in our airspace. If a single Packilvanian unit is seen near our country, we will not hesitate to destroy them. We will not engage in any offensive operations against them, but we are indeed ready to protect our small nation with our lives...we know that our people are few in number, and are naught but flesh and bone. We cannot hope to beat back a tide of robotic soldiers, but we will kill as many as humanly possible before dying. The people of Krechzianko are proud and patriotic; we won't give in to naked aggression and obvious threats. Our allies may feel endangered by what they consider our naivate, our boldness. My government was sick of standing on the edge of conflict while merely giving aid to rebels. Something had to give, and now it has. We will not pursue war; the Krech people are not fond of death, as our enemies may be. We hope for future peace as much as any people, but we won't stand for attacks on our pride. Attack us and we'll fight like hell before going, leave us alone and we'll pursue friendship with you. I ask you all to consider the latter, for the greater good. thank you." A stirring speech from the Premier. The military has declared martial law in all cities, and a curfew after 10 o'clock. The air forces are on patrol in Krech airspace, and will destroy any enemy forces spotted. The Premier urges you to stay indoors in case of air raids. The army is not fully equipped due to the AMP, but they are using whatever they can. Krech aircraft dropped several bombs on Trioni yesterday as a response to PAckilvania's chilling announcement. This caused massed confusion and fear across the EP as nations scrambled their fighters and readied nuclear weapons. General Brownoff has announced that the army is not afraid to use WMDs if it becomes necessary. ![]() The air force is on high alert. ![]() A bomb similar to those used against Packilvania. ![]() Anti-Packilvanian rioting in the FPS. Weather was slightly rainy/snowy, with a fair amount of cloud cover. We expect a 40% chance of nuclear rain. |

Comrades, While tension has died down in Krechzianko, the army is ready for anything. A Packilvanian ship is over our nation, ready to bomb innocents at a moment's notice. The military is on high alert and rockets are pointed to the sky. The new Alliance of EPTO is being formed as we speak, with Krechzianko among its founding members. [Sorry abou the shortness, but i'm too lazy to finish this.] Weather was snowy today, with roads covered everywhere. Get ready for a tough commute! ![]() Krechenstadt with the medium snow cover from all day today. |

Hello, comrades! Peace with Packilvania as the brief crisis was averted. Packilvanian ships no longer threaten Krechzianko, and the army is no longer on high alert. The air force has now pulled all unnecessary planes from patrols over Krech airspace, and we are all happy to know that there will be no war. The East Pacific peacekeeping group EPTO has officially been formed, with Free Pacific States, Krechzianko, and Jambuula its founding members. The People's Republic of Xiopothos has joined, as well. EPTO will keep the East Pacific safe from tyranny and terrorism. The invasion of Plot 66 was postponed after the crisis with Packilvania, but the army is once again moving to northern Neo Arcadia in prepataion for an attack. The takeover should begin sometime this week, and most of the soldiers are extremely excited. Weather was very snowy, and school in Krechenstadt has been cancelled. |

We're sorry. Any claims of a Krech spacefleet program have been proven untrue. The only spaceship is a small rocket, scheduled to launch this week. The original post was eliminated due to this development. |

Comrades, Major development! After weeks of waiting, Krech forces have now been sent to attack Plot 66! The first units will be landing on the coast by 4:00 PM. Their attack plan is to gain quick control of the coast and major cities, then to pacify the wilderness. There are several large cities in the Plot, and it was formerly the home of the ancient nation of Toisan. That nation no longer exists, but thousands of Chinese still reside there. We are here with General Brownoff in an exclusive interview: "General, what exactly is the plan?" "well, we'll be sending in the navy early on, and they'll bombard the main enemy defences. The air force will have bombers ready to eleiminate most of the inland resistance, and the army will make a series of quick landings here, here, and here." "Interesting. How many casualties do you expect?" "Oh, very minimal. Probably only a few dead, maybe a hundred or so wounded. Our men are very well-trained and -equipped, you know." "Certainly. What kind of weapons and tactics will the Chinese employ?" "We expect them to fight in the open at first, but they'll soon realize that guerrilla warfare is the only option. They use old-fashioned rifles and melee weapons, so they shouldn't be a problem." "And finally, what will we do when the fighting is over?" "We'll have a garrison in the Plot, and build a small space launch pad. There are already a few small airports there, and we'll just expand them. A good number of Slavic Krechs are expected to move in, which will help to lower the chance of rebellion. And we will pass legislation to make Plot 66 into an 'occupied territory'. Once Krechzinako grows, though, we'll make it a full-fledged province." Very interesting. Also today, the spaceship 'Petrechna-One', a small rocket with a satellite being transported, will launch from a small pad in the Southern Province. It will release a communications satellite, and will beam the national anthem to all shortwave radios set to frequency 20 or 40 MHz. This is the first time a Krech ship will enter space. The rocket will lose its first stage, which is unrecoverable, over the ocean. The Space Ministry, a new bureaucracy, has announced that they will send a man into space by May Day, and have another satellite up next week.] [OOC: The 'communications satellite' is actually an EMP satellite, sorta like the bombs I used on Pack. The one next week will be an observation satellite...] |

Plot 66 is now officially held by Krechzianko! Several thousand settlers are already moving to the new territory, and the Committee passed a resolution to make the Plot an overseas territory. In political news, Vladimir Onassis campaigned in the South this week, bringing many to his speeches. He still does not have the Premier's level of support, however. A new party, the Workers' solidarity Party, have gained momentum recently, as well. The war in Wachovia does not do well. The Packilvanians captured the capital of the Truczon territory, causing great distress all over the EP. |

Hello, comrades. A bomb recently exploded in the capital of Trioni. normally this wouldn't be out of the ordinary, but it was...a nuclear bomb. A terrorist group may have placed the bomb, which killed thousands of Packilvanian troops and civilians. A large section of the city is in ruins. Krechnews offers its condolences to the families of the deceased. The war in the south goes badly for Wachovia, with fighting all over the front. Packilvanian forces are still slowly advancing east. Our military has a contingent in Milesandia, ready for an attack. Plot 66 is now being populated by Krech slavs. They have left for the new territory in hope of achieving a better future. On a similar note, thousands of Chinese natives have fled the area; more are expected to follow. The cities and landmarks of the Plot will be renamed (Hong Kong is to be called Novaya Odessa, and Canton will be called Mierminshka.) In political news, several new parties, previously thought to be useless, have been gaining support. Tomorrow we'll have a large political special, describing everything related to politics here in Krechzianko. Remember, April 27th is election day for the Committee, as well as the current committee's election of a Premier. May 1st is glorious May Day, and is also the day of the elected Premier's inauguration. |
