Vladistock 4th Army Group 30 Miles off the Coast of Heann -------- The Invasion Force Commissar Vitz stood aboard the carrier VMC Kursk, looking out the bridge and at the small Island, then around him at the fleet. 3 carriers, 2 battleships, dozens of cruisers... this was overkill he thought, but they had to be swift and decisive, and now was the time to do it. He sighed, then he remembered he had an invasion force to command. "Attack group's A, B, C, and E... commence operation Crimson Tide." Vladistock's two largest battleships, VMS Trinity and VMS Empowerer fired a broadside onto the shore. After the first devastating barrage, the rest of the fleet of cruisers began firing at will, as several hundred landing craft made for the shore. The three carriers in the group, VMC Kursk, VMC Lenin, and the VMC Josephine began scrambling their aircraft. Hundreds of Jets began their air superiority in the region, searching for targets. ______ [OOC: I know, some explanation is needed... so here goes: the Island of Heann is close to Vladistock Island, and we have decided to take it over. A couple things: -"Heann" does not exist in the EP forums, or even the nationstates.net database. -The closest thing is "Henann", which... although active, is part of another region. |

GEORGI PETRECHNA MEMORIAL BASE, SOUTHERN NEO ARCADIA: The Major looked across the sea through his field glasses. "Any orders from Central Command, lieutenant?" "Yessir. They say to observe and report back every two hours. Most of the satellites are being used to observe East Malaysia right now, apparently." "Very well...why did they have to attack Heann while the whole damned squadron's off in Dumont-a-Slovsky anyway?" |

FPS Consolete, Heann Lobby "Mr. Ambassador!" The aide ran over, his face red. The ambassador took a hold of the mans shoulder. "Breathe, John, Breathe. And would you call me by name, already? There's only eight of us at this place, you don't need to adress me officially." The man nodded, and took a second to breathe. "Chris, Heann's being invaded by..someone." The ambassador's eyes widened. "What?" "Emergency authorities are responding to the beaches currently, trying to save the civilians and tourists that were there. In the meantime, the Heann Army is creating some sort of militia...the King has asked for help." Chris sighed. "Alright. I'll get Terrus on the phone. In the meantime, tell our maringe guards to take up defensive positions..." The aide cut him off. "All three of them?" The ambassador laughed. "Yes, all three of them, and wake up the night shift. Get everyone working on contacting our tourists..don't try to book them flights or anything. If whoevers invading is blowing up the coastline, they'd probably shoot down civilian airliners too. Just bring them all here." "Yes, sir." ____________________________________________________________________ Liberty City - The Blue House The Spherical Office "They're launching an invasion the day of a terrorist attack?" Terrus responded to the ambassador over the phone. "Are you sure its the Vladistockians?" "Who else would invade?" "Point taken." Matt said. "Alright. For the time being, go to red alert, and commence with civilian safety operations. We'll get back to you." "Yes, sir." The phone clicked, and the president put it down a second later. Pickking it back up, he waited for his secretary to answer. "Linda, get Don, Charlie, Sam, and Luisa in here. It's urgent." "Yes, sir." Hanging up the phone, Matt sat back, and waited for his advisors to arrive. He needed to know the full extent of this, and though he could imagine most of it, he had a staff for a reason. |

Heann East Beach ------- Operation Crimson Tide ![]() The Naval Barrage ceased as Vladistock ground troops hit the beaches. APC's and soldiers began fanning out, securing the beach and rounding up civilians. Several aid stations were established on the beach, after which troops began moving inland. APC's began blaring a warning... ***Citizens of Heann, remain calm and do not attempt to resist, surrender now or be killed.*** Reports from the front indicate that Vladistockian troops have met little or no resistance, and are making their way to the government offices in the Capital of Heann. Citizens getting in the way of the Vladistock military forces are killed or simply run over. |

[Ecshalon, 10:02 AM] Gabon sat at his desk, looking over at some military documents when he suddenly heard a knock at the door. "Come in, private..." A member of the Army, PFC Norman Oslo, walked in and placed a telegraphic letter on the desk that was addressed to Gabon. He saluted him, then left the room and closed the door on his way out before heading back down the hallway. Gabon picked up the telegraphic letter and his eyes suddenly showed slight surprise as he read it. {6/28/05, 5:47 PM, EPT:} A few days ago, our satellites detected military forces from Vladistock Island moving towards Heann. Soon we recieved images of Vladistockian troops holding Heanese civilians hostage unless they surrender. They are trying to dismantle Heann's government and are also destroying civilians and settlements that are either hindrances to military movements or refuse to submit to military dominance. Current EAF talks are suggesting that we may soon have t use military force to put Vladistock back in its place,. If you recieve anything regarding the authorization of EAF military action, you have authority to utilize the Marine Corps. against Vlad forces on Heann. Until then, stay sharp. Sincerely, G. Freehold Chief Administrator and Commander-in-chief Executive Division (Hmm... So they are game is beginning all over again. those ravenous dogs... what madness is dictatorship...) He thought to himself. He then opened a video channel. "Wayne, get me 24-hour live sattelite-feed on the Heann situation, I want to keep an eye on it..." "Yes, sir." A few minutes later, a small video-feed window appeared in the screen's lower right corner. "And now," he said, folding his hands together."I play the waiting game..." |

Heann The Capital ------- Government of Heann is Toppled ![]() Vladistock Troops lined the front of the Heann government buildings, the Capital city was currently under full military control, and the Heann government has entered into negotiations to vest power in the Vladistock government. Commissar Vitz and members of the VIA have landed. Before entering the Capital, Commissar Vitz took out a small phone to report... "The Capital is secure, I am meeting with Heann government officials... the Island will soon be a Vladistock territory. Yes... Thank you comrade." He threw the phone to a soldier standing near the doors, and went in. Reports show that civilian casualties are around 150 dead, 250 wounded. Most of these are from the initial naval bombardment. Military casualties for Vladistock so far are 4 dead, 22 wounded. |

Government Offices of Heann Conference Room Vitz entered the room to the sight of the leadership of Heann, sitting amicably, hancuffed, at the center table, a group of his men around them. This, he had expected. What he hadn't expected was the foreign soldier and obviously a foreign ambassador..the soldier pointing his weapon at one of Vitz's troops, and three of Vitz's troops pointing their weapons at the soldier. Stepping forward, the ambassador nodded to Vitz. "Commisar, I'm Chris Dalmies, FPS Ambassador to Heann. The Heannians asked me to be here in order to oversee surrendur negotiations between your two governments, so, I headed over, along with one of my marine guards." He nodded to the man. "Cheifly because I didn't feel like being hancuffed to a conference table." The ambassador, obviously quite sure of himself, took a breath. "Note that I'm a nuetral observer: not a captive, not a newsman. You can't order me out, and I'm not leaving unless you physically force me to do so, which would not only be a direct act of war against Free Pacific States, but also a violation of the UN Charter, which requires the presence of a nuetral observer at such meetings as these. Furthermore, my man doesn't need to relinquish his weapon, as your troops keep repeating, and he won't. Finally, I won't be hancuffed like them," he motioned to the Heannians, "And the only way your going to get me hancuffed is via force, again, a direct act of war against Free Pacific States. Your stuck with me, so I'd suggest we make the best of the situation." |

CENTRAL COMMAND, KRECHENSTADT: "What's the report from EPTO, Colonel?" "Not good, comrade-General. The Govindians are considering sending troops to Heann." "What!? Are they aware that Vladistock fully occupies that country?" "I don't know, sir." "...How are our forces in that area?" "They're pretty spread-out, sir. We've already got two squadrons in Vladistock proper, and Petrechna Base only has a skeleton force defending it. We can get the 17th Squadron of the Sulu Fleet in the area, though. It's currently stationed in Nezghornnyy; I could have it in Southern Neo Arcadia within a couple days. If the Govindians try to send troops to Vladistock-" "I know, I know. Get the Squadron south immediately. Have them on their toes and ready for action." 17th SULU SQUADRON, NEZGHORNNYY: Several dozen onlookers watched in amazement as the ships slowly pulled out of harbor. The Squadron was large: seven destroyers, six frigates, and three Russian-designed battleships. They were en route to Georgi Petrechna Base, in Neo Arcadia. If anyone tried to interfere with Vladistock's military operations, they'd have to get through the Krech fleet first... |

Capital of Heann Government offices ------- Commissar Vitz looked at the official, and nodded. Several of the Vladistockian soldiers stepped back. "As you will have it Ambassador, we have nothing but admiration and respect for the Free Pacific States, you will not be harmed." Commissar Vitz took off his long, military overcoat and handed it to an aid before approaching the Heannese leaders. "Comrade..." A VIA agent approached Vitz and handed him some documents, saluting, then stepping back again. "Thank you. Now, heres what is going to happen. Heann is currently occupied, but soon an official will be appointed by the Dictator to oversee this region. This is pending a security clearance of the Island. After military operations are complete, Heann will become a province of Vladistock Island, and the Heannese people will be recognized as full Vladistockian citizens, and enjoy benefits that all Vladistock citizens have under Vladistock Island national law." The Leader of Heann looked up at Vitz with a scowl. "And if we refuse?" "This isn't a negotiation friend, and do NOT test me. What you have to realize is that this is the best for your country. Currently, there are far worse war-mongering countries out there. Would you rather be decimated by the Pax? Or taken over by Govindia? Or tested by some strange biological weapon from Imatron? The fact is, the nation of Vladistock is the pinnacle of social, educational, and military achievement. Also, might I add in a dramatic way... resistance is futile." Western Heann Near the town of Halal ------- A squad of 25 soldiers walked slowly down the main street of the small town. Probably only had a population of 8000 or so. A large battletank followed the platoon, bringing up the rear with heavier firepower. The town was too quiet for comfort. "Where are all the people sarge?" asked one of the storm troopers. "Shut up, back in line Grovsky!" The sergeant said, looking around. "Just keep your damn eyes open." Up ahead on the road, was a crashed vehicle in the town square. It had crashed into a large fountain, and a man was laying bleeding outside of the vehicle, waving them over. The Sergeant put his hand up to halt the squad, and approached the young man. "Jeez..." the Sergeant said, grimacing at the wound, "You're going to be okay son... let's get a medic up here!" Private Grovsky stood up, and before he could yell 'medic' a bullet went through his neck. "Medaaallugghhh..." Grovsky hit the ground like a sack of rocks, his neck spewing blood out. "Get down! It's a F---ing trap!!!" Gunfire erupted from many of the buildings, and the soldiers scrambled for cover. The tank moved up a bit, and fired the cannon through a building where a lot of fire was coming from. The building exploded, and collapsed in on itself. An RPG launched from an nearby building deflected off the side of the tank and spiraled through the air. The first battle in Heann had broken out. "Reinforcements needed in the area of Halal, I repeat, we need reinforcements, over." |

Heann Government Offices Conference Room The ambassador sighed in relief. He'd expected things to go a lot worse. "Thank you, Commisar." Turning, he motioned for the marine to lower his weapon, and sat next to the man. Across the table, the Heannian Chancellor looked at each of his ministers, both of whom nodded. Turning back to the Commisar, he nodded. "In principle, we will agree to these terms of surrendur. However, I need to have more information before I can sign anything...what will happen to the current Heanian military? Its no much, created, frankly, so that our airport would be put on the International Secured Airport List, but these are still men who wish to fight for their nation. Will they be allowed to join the Vladistock National Guard, and set up a base here? Or need they look for jobs." The Heannian leader sat back. "Furthermore, what of our police, firemen? Government workers." He motioned to the men around him. "Will they be brought into the new provisional government? And the island itself...it is cheifly non-urban, with the exception of our major city here, and a small town across the island. Our industry is tourism--are you planning to allow us to continue in this profitable venture, or do you plan to change our primary source of income." He sat forward again. "Most of all, and forgive my lack of knowledge on your political system, but will the Governor position become an ellected position after a few years, or not? And if not..will there be any such elected positions? I realize that I am out of a job, for good, but there are quite a few good statesmen on this island who would be willing to run for an office, even a Vladistockian one, to better their peoples lives. Will they have a chance, or will everything be appointed?" He sighed. "I realize I am asking for a lot of information, but you must understand that I am turning over care of my people to you. It's not small decision, and not one I plan to make on little information, gun to my head or not." |

Heann Capital Government Offices ------ Conference Room Commissar Vitz stood listening to the Heannese leader with a couple VIA officers at his side, and couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Indeed, you know little of our political system. I will answer your questions though, because it will give you an idea. The current Heann military will be disbanded, and men wishing to stay in the service may enlist in the People's Army, which will protect the island and the airport. However, these men are also allowed to retire from service if they wish. Vladistock Island has a national draft, at the age of 16. Post-Secondary students are allowed to miss the draft at this age for intellectual pursuits, but must complete their compulsory 6 year military tour of duty after they finish university. On a side note, all education, from elementary to post-graduate is government sponsered and will cost nothing. Leadership in the People's Army is composed of appointed officers who have had academy training." Commissar Vitz took a seat, crossing his legs and lighting a cigar. "Alight... that's the military, what of my other questions?" the Heann leader asked impatiently. "Police, Fireman, all that will be the same, and likely run in a similar manner... they need not worry about their jobs. The same is true for most of the bureaucracy in Heann. There are no elected positions in Vladistock Island, we do not believe in democracy, it is inherently biased with lack of middle ground, and intensely corrupt. The goverment runs everything, so you also need not worry about the economy in Heann. It will be linked with that of the rest of Vladistock, and although tourism will remain the largest industry here, there will likely also be expansion in manufacturing and fisheries. There will be vast change although, because private business is not something Vladistock participates in. The economy is government run and regulated. Your politicians would be wise to find a new line of work. Any other questions? Again, none of this will happen until the Island is secure, our forces are currenlty engaging rogue Heannese in the east, hopefully that won't last long." |

Western Heann Town of Halal ------- Taking over Reinforcements soon came to relieve the pinned soldiers in Halal. Storm troopers carrying m16's marched double quick in straight lines right into the town and fanned out, beginning their efficient killing of any Heann citizen holding a gun in the town. The battle didn't last long, and some 100 Heann insurgents were killed. Capital of Heann Government Offices ------- Conference Room Commissar Vitz looked at the leader sternly and motioned for him to stand up. He then put his arm on the leader's shoulder and walked him out side slowly. "Now don't worry... you need not fear for your life or the lives of the council. The longer you don't cause me any problems, the longer you shall live." Commissar Vitz took a puff off his cigar as they stepped outside into the sun, he squinted at first, then looked back at Heann's leader. "Just know that you will be watched, and any slip up will be dealt with." Commissar Vitz then looked over at a wall where a prisoner was standing, face first against the wall. The Heann leader watched as the man was shot by a firing squad. Blood sprayed against the wall and the man crumpled, twitching a few times. The Heann leader grimaced, turning away and almost crying and puking at the same time. "I hope we have an understanding Comrade" Commissar Vitz said, turning and walking back into the building, leaving the Heann leader there, cowering. |

The FPS Ambassador stood, and looked at the Heannese leader. "Have the council, their aids, and families at the embassy sometime tonight. They'll be dead within a week if you don't." The leader nodded. "I know. Suns of bitches. If they were in the UN, I'd cite them for breaking the Wolfish Convention." "No matter." The ambassador replied. "If you'll excuse me, I need to advise the president to emplace a trade embargo on Vladistock, and to publicly condemn the invasion." Motioning to his guard, the ambassador left, the guard in tow. |

The Vlads have just made a huge mistake. Why? Simple, just look about 50,000 ft.+ above the surface. A xiopothan sattelite had just captured the murder of the Heannese official, and right now, Administratr freejhold had the image heading his way. by ddoing this, Vladistock had violated international sanctions, and it was now clear thst they intend to annex Heann.... By any means nessacary. =================== [Characoi, the Caucus Auratus:] Geitz was furious whe he wsaw rthe Vlads murdering the heannese official. He was now opening up a holoscreen channel right for the office of Jacob Ward. Geitz's now anger-strained face appeared into view, his gaze looking ditrectly into the dictator's eyes. He played the video in the upper right corner before speaking through gritted teeth. "Care to explain this... This... Villany, Jacob...!?" He grumbled. Somebody is in DEEP trouble.. |

Vladistock Island University of Northern Vladistock -------- Conference Room 225 "..I'll patch him through right away" said Commissar Yelz to another officer who had approached suddenly. He turned to the Dictator. "Your grace, Geitz is on the line." "Tell him to wait, im very busy" the Dictator replied. "It's urgent comrade, seems FPS and Xiopothos are pretty disturbed about what's going on in Heann." "Alright, alright, im coming." The Dictator followed Commissar Yelz to a holoscreen, where he sat down to speak with Geitz. "Care to explain this... This... Villany, Jacob...!?" said Geitz angrily as soon as Dictator Ward sat down. "Although I feel no need to defend the actions of my officers, I can assure you that Heannese citizens are safe. The man we executed was deemed as a threat to the overall peace on the Island. Differing views of politics aside, execution is not an uncommon plight for enemies of our nation. Yes, we intend to annex Heann, you are not wrong there. It is now Vladistock Island territory, and I'll thank you for not meddling in our affairs. I have no knowledge of these 'international sanctions' of which you speak that we have apparently violated." Heann The Capital -------- After overhearing the FPS ambassador and watching him leave, a VIA agent turned and nodded to a couple other officers. They quickly placed the Heann leader and council under arrest. "I'd suggest that for your own safety, and the safety of your people that you remain calm and come with us, please do not resist" the agent said. The Heannese leader and council were then escorted to a secret holding cell. Commissar Vitz, overseer of operations in Heann followed to make sure all ran smoothly. "What of the FPS ambassador and his men?" "Leave them, they have diplomatic immunity here and we will insure their safety" replied Commissar Vitz. "Let them think what they want, remember to never show mercy for the enemy. That man killed several of our men, and was an insurgent leader, his fate was sealed when he refused allegience to Vladistock Island." "Affirmatif, comrade Commissar" the VIA agent said, saluting before leaving the presence of Commissar Vitz |

30 miles off the coast of Heann Bridge of the VMS Justice ------- The Blockade The VMS Justice approached the Island, seeing many Vladistock and Krechzianko ships around. The added power of the Battleship VMS Justice and 30 smaller cruisers (Rostock V AEGIS cruisers, and Verlineon corvettes) would be enough to blockade entry to the Island. The 3 carriers already there had moved inland more, and were providing air support for the entire island. "This is the VMS Justice reporting, we are in position." "We read you VMS Justice, steady as she goes... no-one gets in and no-one gets out." "Roger that command." Current Situation in Heann: Reports show that heavy fighting has ceased, and most or all insurgents have been rounded up, and the leaders executed. The old leaders and council of Heann are currently secretly detained until further notice. The Vladistock military controls the Island currently, and the VIA has begun setting up the government of Heann to become a province of Vladistock Island. Protests have been few and far between, probably due to the current military presence all around the Island. Heann is rich in natural resources, including iron, oil, and natural gas, all of which Vladistock Island intends to exploit as soon as the infrastructure has been established. A massive hospital is currently being constructed in the Capital of Heann, until that is complete, a public military aid station has been established in many towns throughout Heann. |

"Of course, put him on!" A couple of seconds went by, and then an audible click came from the phone. Assuming that meant the transfer had gone through, Terrus took a breath. "Geitz! Long time no...uh..hear! How are things in Xiopothos?" |

Geitz 's expression was grim as he replied into the reciever. "Things here in Xiopothods have improved, but only slightly. There stil is some fairly bizarre things going on in the mountains. Unfortunately, I come to tell you of a more pressing matter. I have discovered that our 'good friend' Jacob is murdering former heannese officials, and I have the proof caputured by one of our military sattelites. I'm sending the footage to you now via e-mail. But be foirewarned- It is fairly graphic. There is no doubts to Vladistocks intentions now; Invade the land for the resources, and slaughter the locals right under the nose of the press and every nation in the region." He leaned foirward on the desk and sighed as his blood-shot eyes looked around frustratedly. "I tell you Matt, I've seen better days... " |

North Vimygrad University of Northern Vladistock ---------- Lecture Hall 225 The Dictator sighed when Geitz hung up. "Ugh, whats with conservative nations..." he mumbled to himself. The Dictator wrote up a message and quickly sent it off to Geitz. To: Xiopothos. RE: Heann situation. Geitz, I am insulted that you would blow this out of proportion in such a way. My officers are NOT murdering 'innocent' civilians. This is a military operation, and i've already told you the nature of that execution. Although we may have differing opinions on the death penalty, I do not believe it is cause for international distress at this level. If you know anything about Vladistock Island, it is that our civil rights far surpass that of many other nations, and we care deeply about all of our people, including the Heannese. Saying that we "slaughter locals" is just childish and insulting and a complete and utter lie. You are only fanning the fire here and hoping that something breaks out, and it hurts me that you would do this when we are so close to peace. Good day. Dictator Ward The People's Republic of Vladistock Island. |

OOC: Mind if I get in here ? /OOCSituation Room, The White House, New Delhi, Delhi While President Alec Trevelyan and the others were waiting for Gen. Tlant's response, Rashidy, the GCIA Director, spoke up. "Sir, we're getting more information on the situation on Heann," he said, and the look on his face, even through the holotransmission, did not look pleasing. "How bad, Rashidy?" asked Alec. "Here, sir, I'll send it to you." Moments later a printout came from the central desk in front of the President. Alec and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Gaha Nur Shiasydenze, GRMC, looked it over. "Oh my god!" Alec exclaimed, a hand to his mouth as he looked over the report. Gaha quickly hit on the button, and East Pacific holo map zoomed in on the area around Heann. "How recent was this?" Alec asked the GCIA Director. "We just got this in five minutes ago sir. EPTO seemed to vote on a resolution, unanimous, on what to do there, but they're still stalled in terms of how to go about doing it." "Damn!" "Sir," said Fleet Admiral Ivan Seagal Groznyev. "We still have the 7th Fleet there. We could possibly send a SEAL team to find out what's going on and engage forces if necessary." "Are you crazy?" asked Dmitriy, looking shocked. "We have troops in Vladistock, and this would amount to nothing more than an act of war. Krechzianko and Vladistock Island just signed a pact. We could also then, by going to war with Vladistock, be going to war with Krechzianko, who is an EPTO member as well!" "Well we need to do something," said Gaha. "What if we asked some of our allies in EPTO, like Xiopothos and FPS?" "Hmm....good idea. Hold on," said the President as he began typing up a secure e-mail message. ------------------------Message from the White House, Republic of Govindia----------------------------- To: President Matthew Terrus, Free Pacific States Cc: Xiopothan leadership Subj: Action in Heann We have just learned of the situation in Heann has worsened, based on what we've been given from the GCIA. I'm very disturbed by the situation, and with efforts to agree on how exactly to execute the resolution that was unanimously voted on by the EPTO, I feel that unless we do something, the crisis in Heann will get potentially much worse. To that end we still have the 7th Fleet off the coast of Vladistock Island, but it is within distance of Heann. I propose a joint special forces team of our Govindian Republican Navy SEALs, and both Xiopothan and FPS special forces silently invade the island, to find out exactly what's going on, without being detected, and to engage enemy troops if necessary, then report back, so that we may have a stronger hand in receiving swift and decisive action on Heann. The evidence I may have seen may not be enough to act and end the impasse in EPTO. Please let me know your thoughts on this. We must act quickly to prevent this repression. Regards, /s/signature/s/ Alec Trevelyan, President Republic of Govindia -----------------------------------------------END OF MESSAGE---------------------------------------------------------- |

OOC: OOC spam deleted, as per new policy. On another note...isn't information the job of an intelligence agency and its secret agents, not the job of the military? IC: Liberty City - Hall of the Federation Corridor 3C "I know Geitz." Matt said, as he walked through another security checkpoint, switching his phone to his left hand to salute the guards. "But there is no prudent action here...anything we do would bring on negative consequences, and as much as I sympathize with the people of Heann, we have to look at the bigger people. Heann has a population of 35,000. Just about any action we could take would put serious strains on already strained international relations." Terrus took a breath. "A war of Vladistock and Krechzianko versus FPS, Govindia, and Xiopothos would probably result in a victory on our side..but hell, there'd be tens, if not hundreds of millions of casulties. It sucks, Geitz, but outside of politically and diplomatically condemning it, theres really litte we can afford to do...uh, hold on a minute, will ya?" The president muted the phone as an aide walked up. "This just in from Govindia." Terrus read the telegram, and shook his head. "You got a peice of paper and a pen?" The aide nodded, pulling out a small notepad, with a pen attached to it. Opening the notepad, Matt penned in a response.
"There." Matt said, handing the notepad back to the man. "Tell diplomatic to telegram that back. Oh..and did intelligence get a look at this?" "Yes, sir. Already classified it C7." "Good." Terrus replied. "Make sure everyone who has seen it knows that." "Alright. Goodbye." Matt nodded as the man hurried off, and brought the phone back to his ear. "Geitz, are you still there?" He waited several seconds. "Geitz?" Looking at the phone, he swore. Connection Lost. Clicking dialing the Blue House, he got the same switchboard operator he had the last two times. "This is Terrus, I lost Geitz! Reconnect me, now!" ____________________________________________________________________ Liberty City - General Shady Warehouse Near the Docks Office "The Govindians just sent this over official channels?" Pentastar asked, looking at the communique. "Yes, sir. Intelligence picked it up after Foreign Affairs did, and classified it...which is how we got ahold of it, though our FA link offered us a copy." "I see." Pentastar smiled. "Thank you, agent." The other man nodded, and took his cue to leave. Leaning forward, Pentastar opened his laptop, and then his version of Apple Telegramer (tm).
Hitting several buttons, Pentastar entered his computer into the International Affairs network, making it believe he was a random ambassador to someplace or another, and sent the telegram to the Govindians and Xiopothans. What happened from there was up to them. |

The Situation Room, The White House, New Delhi Alec saw a blip on the screen as Matt hung up his phone. He pressed it and a e-mail message popped up. "Who's Pentastar?" asked Alec as he read the message. "He's my counterpart in the FPSIA," replied Rashidy. "He's done a lot of undercover work in the past, sometimes even on things on which the Terrus administration would not support publicly in the past." "Sir, do you want me to contact Vice Admiral Viktor Rankov of the 7th Fleet?" asked Ivan. "Negative," replied Alec. "Do not contact him about this until we hear back from Pentastar. I want to see what exactly he's planning. Continue to keep in contact with Master Reynil and the fleet commanders about what's going on." "Understood Mr. President. Will you be needing me any more?" Alec thought for a moment. "I'll let you know. Just keep me updated on the situation. I'll be going back to the Oval Office after I reply to this." Ivan nodded and his holoimage disappeared as he closed his connection. "Sir," said Dmitriy over the holotransmission. "I understand the course you are taking, but I want you to remember that if the Vladistockians find out, our troops in their main island may be at risk. Plus, Krechzianko may militarily intervene, and relations with them in the EPTO are already strained." Alec sighed. "I understand. Unless anyone has any other questions?" Nobody made any movement. "Good, then let me know guys if anything come up." Everyone on the holotransmission ended their connection, and it was just Gaha and him. "General Shiasydenze," Alec told Gaha. "Monitor the situation and let me know what develops. As I said before, I'll be back up in my office if you need me." "Yes sir," replied Gen. Gaha Nur Shiasydenze, and he walked away from the main map and went over to another screen to confer with some military officers while Alec meanwhile typed up the response then hit send and left the Situation Room for the Oval Office upstairs. ------------------------Message from the White House, Republic of Govindia----------------------------- To: HeannCo-Op@EPmail.com Cc: Xiopothan leadership Subj: RE: Action in Heann Thank you for your message and support with us on this issue. As stated before, we currently have the Govindian Republican Navy's 7th Fleet in the region, and if need be, the Govindian Grand Army of the Republic's First Army as well, as they are currently conducting Operation Urgent Call. We would be willing to conduct both intelligence and special operations as well, as we would be willing to send in GRN SEAL teams for this effort. Please do understand that this must be in secret. Both of our nations have troops in Vladistock Island, and if they are found aware of our operation, we must do what we can to make sure our troops there in Vladistock are not in jeopardy because of this. Krechzianko, a fellow EPTO nation we've had strong political differences with, is allied with Vladistock Island, and may consider this an act of war if they learn of this operation, whatever it may be called, and this may tear a rift within EPTO and lead to greater ramifications. However, like you said, we are willing to do this to restore the legitimate leadership in Heann and end this aggression, whatever the cost. This message is also copied to the Xiopothan leadership, as was my previous secure e-mail re: this situation, and is also going to be a secure e-mail sent to both as well. I look forward to hear from you soon. Regards, /s/signature/s/ Alec Trevelyan, President Republic of Govindia -----------------------------------------------END OF MESSAGE---------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Xiopothos, I'm waiting to hear your response from my earlier message that I CCed you on and this one as well. /OOC |

OOC: LOL, Govindia, I just realized what your governments emailing adresses would be! IC: To: BettaSplendens@xio.gov, AlecTrevelyan@gov.gov From: HeanneseRebel@email.com Secrecy is a given for any operation involving my men, sirs. Indeed, news of our existance has reached the international community - but only rumors. Were the FPS government ever to receive actual reports of our existance, certified evidence....Terrus would go on a crusade to make sure we were shut down. So, mark my word, it will not be on my side that news of this operation gets out. For if it did, my side would be destroyed. And anyone who attempts to put this organization at risk without my permission....usually faces dire consequences. To say the least. You will have secrecy on our side. But I not only ask, but demand that the same be kept on your side. Like I said, evidence of our existance reaching the press, or any official source could be the downfall of our organization. Please, do not let it come to that. To my next point: destruction the Vladistock Occupation. It is my general objective, as well. However, do realize that our men will not simply be charging the enemy. The only way to get the Vladistockians out, at this point, is to make the operation no longer worth their while. Part of this effort will be the formation of a resistance, and attacks on military targets, yes. But it may also require other side missions...some of which may not be as morally correct as we would all like. And some of which may be a little too media attracting for our wishes. But they must still be done. Because, in order to end this occupation, more then a simple few attacks on military bases will be required. We are going to need to get the Vladistockian people so disgusted with the operation, so regretful, and so hateful of Ward's decision to embark upon it, that he will be forced to withdraw, or face massive public outbursts. And, it will be a slow operation. This isn't an overnight thing. It will take months, possibly years. Which leads to my next point: who is being sent in. For the Xiopothans, it will probably be intelligence agents, as you are only there to gather intelligence. Now, President Trevelyan, you have offered up a GRN Seals team. I'm afraid I must object to such a team. Seals are trained for small, military operations. This is neither small, nor military. Its an undercover, illegal, debatably immoral, and major operation. As such, you may want to consider sending in a less...government authorized team as a military special forces squad. The choice is, of course, yours, but I simply thought I would point out to you the nature of this operation before you decided for sure the nature of the operatives operating it. Everything my operatives have been able to uncover in Heann is attached. OOC: I've got to talk to Vladistock, but ICly, the attachment would contain a lot of strategic information (patrol routes and the like), and some general information on the situation. When I actually know that information, I'll PM it to ya both. |

OOC: No FPS, you found my other e-mail address you sneaky bastard /OOCThe Oval Office, The West Wing, The White House Alec came back to his office, and opened up his Compaq, checking his e-mail. He noticed a reply from someone called "Heannese Rebel" to his, other government e-mail address. He immediately called Rashidy. "DCI Pyro," replied Rashidy. DCI stood for Director of Central Intelligence, and "Pyro" was his nickname for his short-temper. "Alec here," replied back the President. "Did you give Pentastar my...other e-mail address?" Rashidy sighed. "Yes, sir, I did, but not without verifying who 'HeanneseRebel' was." "All right then. I'll be copying you on a reply to a message he recently sent, since this would be more of your arena. In future, ask me first before doing this all right?" "Yes sir. Sorry sir," said Rashidy and he hung up. The President then hit the "Reply" button and typed up a response back:
