Just a minor thing, but ours are Consulates General and our head-of-missions are Consul-Generals. They're a level above Consulates/Consuls, generally offer pretty much all the same services as an embassy. Most consulates don't have full services in terms of visas, immigration etc. |

So noted. The Government of Gnidrah hereby recognizes your Consulates, as they are so categorized by the Department of International Affairs, as Consulates General. Furthermore, the Government hereby recognizes your Consuls, as they are so categorized by the Department of International Affairs, as Consul-Generals. In effect, the diplomatic ranks of said Consul-Generals are hereby recognized as superior to Consuls. These notes, in cooperation with the Government of Kelssek, are hereby official. OOC: While they are now recognized as you intended them to be recognized, they will continue to be listed as they are. The Government of Gnidrah tends to combine similar things into one. My apologies for the inconvenience. Also, here is the diplomatic visa you sent, with Mr. Stacey's photograph in place.

Yeah, sure, it's just an FYI. It only really makes a difference to the imaginary people who go to an imaginary consulate to extend their imaginary passport having not looked up the imaginary list of services to first realise they need to go to the imaginary embassy/consulate general or to another imaginary consulate which does extend passports. And is that someone you know or someone you just got off Google Image Search? Just curious. |

The Government of Gnidrah hereby recognizes your Consul, as he is so categorized by the Department of International Affairs, as Consul General. This note, in cooperation with the Government of Govindia, is hereby official. OOC: While he is now recognized as you intended him to be recognized, he will continue to be listed as Consul. It's the same as I told Kelssek -- we combine similar titles under one title For example, if the head of a consulate were sent to us with the title "Mighty-Consul-General," we would recognize this title, but continue to list the title as Consul, for our purposes. My apologies for the inconvenience. |

Lists updated. Please note, the "Embassies in Gnidrah" list has been split, due to a restriction on the number of images a user can post. Also, please look at the lists "Embassies of Gnidrah" and "Consulates of Gnidrah," and let me know what I need to put in the incomplete date fields (look at Kelssek's address, for example). |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE All formal relations between the Governments of Gnidrah and Govindia are hereby severed. Govindia's embassy and consulate, within Gnidrah's borders, are to be closed immediately. As such, the ambassador and consul general, and any other remaining Govindian nationals, are to return to their native country, at once. Any diplomatic documents between the two governments will be locked in classified archives. Government identification cards and visas, provided to Govindia from Gnidrah, are to be revoked. Likewise, the 60-Day Visa Program and the established Trade Agreement between the two said governments are now considered null and void. As a result of the above, Gnidrah's embassy and consulate within Govindia's borders will remain closed. The ambassador and consul assigned to these two areas will remain in Gnidrah, for now, to be reassigned to another position at a later date. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ambassador Jimmy Brooks, former ambassador to Govindia, has been reassigned to serve as ambassador to Vladistock Island. This decision comes as a combined result of the closing of relations between Gnidrah and Govindia, and the death of Ambassador Marvin Mills, former ambassador to Vladistock Island, who was killed tragically, along with his staff, due to a nuclear explosion in Vladistock City. The Gnidrah Department of International Affairs has the right to reject applications. Likewise, it is not required to offer an explanation in the case that it does reject an application. Such is the case, in this situation. |

We are fellow members of EPTO, and we did our best to ask in a polite manner. I think it's reasonable to request an explanation, otherwise there should be no real reason not to reject our application. |

The East Pacific Treaty Organization (EPTO) and the Gnidrah Department of International Affairs are two separate entities. As such, the chip won't buy you anything here. And there is an explaination; just not one for you. |

You know, I had to tell another member/nation, by the name of Govindia, "no" on several occasions. I mean, the guy would not take my answer as final. Well, I'm telling you now, basically like I told him, this is my final answer. You won't get anywhere by arguing or demanding something like this. |
