Labour Leader Li An Ying has criticised hardliners in the Conservative party who oppose any moves to increase the taxation on potent potables including the Wuji drink. The former interim administrator leader has called out on TCM politicians such as Darrell Ai Sha, Kong Deming and Wu De An for publicly threatening to sue the president if he imposes a different rate of taxation on the Wuji beverage. Whilst not naming them directly, he claimed they are beholden to the drinks industry.
Those who oppose the taxes increase claim that the drink is a national drink and should never be subject to a different rate of taxation. Some politicians, including Darrell Ai Sha, have called for the abolition of tax on Wuji. Edited by Bai Lung, Feb 7 2015, 07:23:01 PM.

Politicians from the True Conservative Movement have urged the Liang administration to block the general screening of a documentary that covers the subject of endangered species in Bai Lung. The group of environmental skeptics is lead by the likes of Darrell Ai Sha and Ling Da Shui, who are appealing the public to sign their petition to persuade President Liang to use his executive powers to block the general release of 'Last Life on Bai Lung', a film they regard as 'left-wing propaganda aimed to mislead the public and discourage entrepreneurship in this country'. The film covers the most endangered species in the country including the Bai Lungese Tiger and the New Suchao Fridge Owl whose numbers are twindling in the hundreds. The film blames the poor environmental record of the current Liang administration and charges that the most outspoken Conservative receive millions of donations from the gas and oil industry including Darrell Ai Sha, who received BL$150,000 in 2014 from the oil industry alone. Film Director Nat Law specifically asked cinemas to print their tickets on a '100% recycled composite material'. The film's distributor, Sun Moon Film Enterprises, has provided the said recycled material to cinemas which they claim would print ont easily on. Mr Ai has lambasted the film in his personal blog, calling it 'Communistic piece of filth which should be banned from this planet. The film makers should be trialled for treason.' Mr Ai has also disputed the claims of soliciting money from the gas and oil industry. |

A controversial 90 minute documentary on the True Conservative Movement, Behind the Hypocrisy of TCM, will air on BLCTV 3 on Wednesday at 9 PM. The documentary, directed by socialist activist Len Li Ren, chronicles the hypocrisy of the TCM. Mr Li claims that most of the TCM politicians and activists started off as supporters of Stalinist dictator Chen Jong Sun. Many TCM politicians also attended state schools whilst decrying them in public meetings. Conservative MLA Darrell Ai Sha is the main focus of the documentary. Mr Ai, 61, started off his career as a radical left wing student whilst studying at the Grand Tongzhi University in Pyongjing. Mr Li claims that Mr Ai shifted sharply to the right sometime in the mid to late 80's after becoming disillusioned with left wing politics. The documentary is highly controversial because it unearths the early history of prominent politicians such as the aforementioned Darrell Ai Sha although he has since expressed his regrets for his left wing past. |
