The Labour Party are struggling to connect with voters who are increasingly hostile to their policies. The newest poll released by the Polling Policy Group shows the party will only get 15% of the popular vote. That percentage however, does not translate to winning 15% of the entire seats in Bai Lung. The existing system is First Past the Post rather than Proportional Representation. This means, according to the PPG, the Labour will lose every seat in a worst case scenario and gain 5-10 seats in a best case scenario. Members of the Conservative Party, especially those from the True Conservative Movement, were quick to jump on the analysis with Darrell Ai Sha commenting online: "This poll shows the Labour party are completely out of touch with the Bai Lungese people with their fundementally far-left policies. We believe in smaller government and more freedom for the people. They take the people for granted." |
