Former President of Bai Lung Richard Im donated an old limosuine to BLCTV News Chief Executive Wang Yuan-Biao without informing former Secretary of Treasury Li Xing-chung about his decision to gave away the used automobile. Mr Im gave his customised Dailiang Cruiser to Mr Wang back in 2011 and is estimated to have costed BL$1.5 million to the taxpayer. The customised car, registered in 2009, is one of the most resilient automobiles in the market as it can stand multiple gunshots. Mr Im quietly ordered a 2011 model of the same make shortly after donating his old car. Mr Li said that the former leader deliberately made an accounting error to cover up for the replacement. Mr Im's replacement car was reported in the headlines but Mr Li's claims sheds further light into Mr Im's very close relationship with Mr Wang. Day thirty two continues. In Day 51 of the widely publicised trial of the former leader, Mr Gao claims that a total of BL$300,000 were given to 8 Conservative councillors to downplay the Ningbu Gas Factory explosion in 2009 that killed 10 people.
