Mr Gao has brought up the condition of throat cancer. He noted that some of the witnesses were upset that the former leader has not spoken at all and instead relied on nodding or shaking his head. -Mr Bing has denied that his client is suffering from throat cancer and has pointed that he is exercising his right to remain silent throughout the trial and will continue to do so when the trial reaches its conclusion. -Day 179 of the trial continues. |

Mr Ren shouted at Brooklyn Bing to shut up when he asked questions to the former leader directly. When asked if Mr Im ordered the destruction of 90% of Mr Ren's crops, the former leader looked on without nodding or shaking. -Mr Ren threw a hnadful of peanuts at the former leader but he did not react and continued to refuse to engage in dialogue. Mr Cheng claimed the former leader sniffed glue 20 times in one day alone. He presented the court with footage taken from a hidden camera that shows Mr Im nodding and shaking his head wildly. -Mr Bing has denied Mr Im sniffed glue at all and has stated that he is strongly anti-drugs.
