President Lin Zhang has walked out of a press conference at the entrance of the Gwangchu building in Central Pyongjing after a Dannistrian journalist asked her a question in English. Mrs Lin was taking questions from the media with issues ranging from housing to taxation. Mii'ke Di'Soosa, an independent journalist asked Mrs Lin in English about the housing shortages in the capital. Mrs Lin, looking visibly annoyed, refused to answer the question and walked out of the conference abruptly. Mr Di'Soosa criticised Mrs Lin's hostility to western journalists whilst highlighting her own education in the west: "It is astonishing that she can walk out on the international press. She received her higher education in the University of For'af and her English is Carrie Lin! This is hypocrisy on her part." |

Former Prime Minister Li An Ying has sharply criticised President Lin Zhang for giving a 'disgraceful excuse' for walking out of a press conference when a Dannistrian journalist asked her a question in English as well as suggesting that she is a puppet for senior True Conservative Movement politicians. Mrs Lin posted on her website apologising to reporters and constituents for ending the press conference abruptly, citing heat exhaustion. Speaking on the Daily Socialist, Mr Li remains unconvinced and called out the leader for walking out on a journalist who asked her in a language she clearly understands and speaks fluently.
