Department of the Army Organization: Individual Soldiers: Of course, the single soldier is the most basic unit of army organization, and the FPS Military is very aware of this. Independent of rank, every soldier is issued a certain amount and type of gear, depending upon their chosen (officers) or assigned (enlisted persons) combat specialization. In addition to listed items, all infantry have access to body armor (use of this is required), binoculars, night vision goggles, and other miscellaneous equipment.
- Rifleman: Carries a standard assault rifle, sidearm, knife, grenades, extra rifle/sidearm ammunition.
- Automatic Rifleman: Carries a Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), sidearm, knife, grenades, extra SAW ammunition.
- Grenadier: Carries a standard assault rifle with attached grenade launcher, sidearm, knife, and extra ammunition for his three weapons.
- Machine Gunner: Carries a machine gun, sidearm, knife, grenades, and extra sidearm ammunition.
- Machine Gun Assistant: Carries extra machine gun ammunition, a sidearm, knife, grenades, and extra sidearm ammunition.
- Anti-Tank Gunner: Carries an anti-tank gun, sidearm, knife, grenades, and extra sidearm ammunition.
- Anti-Tank Gun Assistant: Carries extra anti-tank rounds, sidearm, knife, grenades, and extra sidearm ammunition.
- Anti-Aircraft Gunner: Carries a STINGER heat-seeking missile launcher, a sidearm, knife, grenades, and extra sidearm ammunition.
- Anti-Aircraft Gun Assistant: Carries extra STINGER ammunition, a sidearm, knife, grenades, and extra sidearm ammunition.
- Mortar Operator: Carries a mortar, sidearm, knife, and extra sidearm ammunition.
- Mortar Assistant: Carries mortar ammunition, sidearm, and knife.
- Sniper: Carries a sniper rifle, a sidearm, knife, grenades, and extra rifle/sidearm ammunition.
- Medic: Carries medical equipment; officially unarmed, but often carries a personal sidearm.

Fire Team: Smallest Unit of the Army consisting of more than a single man. Consists of 4 men. Commanded by a PFC, LCpl, or Cpl. Split into several types.
- Standard Team: Consists of a grenadier, automatic rifleman, and two riflemen.
- MG Team: Consists of a machine gunner, assistant, rifleman, and grenadier.
- AT Team: Consists of an AT gunner, assistant, rifleman, and grenadier.
- Mortar Team: Consists of a mortar operator, assistant, rifleman, and grenadier.
- AA Team: Consists of Anti-Air Gunner, assistant, rifleman, grenadier.
- Support Team: Consists of a sergeant, sniper, radio operator, and medic.
Squad: Smallest Unit of the Army consisting of other units other than simple soldiers. Consists of 2 fire teams and a squad commander.
- Light Infantry Squad (LIS): 2 Standard Teams, Squad Leader.
- Medium Infantry Squad (MIS): 1 Standard Team, 1 MG Team, Squad Leader.
- Heavy Infantry Squad (HIS): 1 MG Team, 1 AT Team, Squad Leader.
- Anti-Aircraft Squad (AAS): 1 AA Team, 1 MG Team, Squad Leader.
- Command Infantry Squad (CIS): 1 Mortar Team, 1 Support Team, Platoon Leader.
Platoon: The smallest officer-led unit of the army. Also the unit at which the the use of heavy as opposed to light vehicles is decided (this difference will be mentioned later, under Army Equipment). Commanded by a 2nd or 1st Lieutenant. Varies from 20-50 troops. It should be noted that APC/IFV refers to Armored Personnel Carrier/Infantry Fighting Vehicle.
- Infantry Platoon (IPs): 2 LIS, 1 MIS, 1 HIS, 1 SIS, 1 AAS; Varying Numbers and Types of APCs/IFVs and Eagle Vehicles. Also crew for any APCs/IFVs.
- Armored Platoon (APs): 4 M1A2 Tanks (16 Crew), 1 M6 Linebacker (3 Crew)
- Cavalry Platoon (CPs): 1 LIS, 1 MIS, 1 HIS, 1 SIS, 12 Vehicle Specialists (4 Blackhawk Helicopters, 2 Apache Helicopters)
- Gunship Platoon (GPs): 6 Helicopter Gunships (12-36 Crew)
- Light Artillery Platoon (LAPs): 1 HIS, 1 AAS, 2 M119A2s (10 Crew), Medic, Radio Operator, 2 Eagle Vehicles.

Rank Structure: The rank structure of the FPS Army is based off of that of the United States Marine Corps, with a few notable differences. Five star generals are referred to as "Generals of the Army." The E8 rank is "Master Gunnery Sergeant," the E9 rank is "Sergeant Major," the E9 Command Rank is "Command Sergeant Major," and the E9 Supreme Rank is "Command Sergeant Major of the Army."
