Former Delegate
|
The Government of the East Pacific utilizes the use of a UN Liaison, to present the region's vote to the UN Delegate, to be implemented in his or her vote in the United Nations. Sometimes, as with most individuals serving in positions, there comes a time when the UN Liaison and his or her Deputy are unable to fulfill the duties of this office, for one reason or another. This is an understandable and expected situation, from time to time, thus is acceptable, to a degree. However, that still leaves polls uncreated, during this time of incapacitation. As such, if no poll for the current resolution at vote exists, members are welcome and furthermore encouraged to create a new topic within this forum, to serve as the voting site at the time. After all, this United Nations office was established for your use as voters, to be able to do just that: voice your vote to the Delegate. |

I would simply like to note here that, under my executive order, the poll feature will not be used in WA voting threads. Voting will be carried out publicly in the thread and polls are no longer a necessary feature. Also, if a WA proposal reaches quorum, a thread can be created for it. Since activity is low, it is best to give TEP's WA members as much time as possible to decide their delegate's position on future WA resolutions. |
