Commandante of The Pacific Army, Limitless Events, orders his men into the region

Underwater Rifts
25th May 2008

After various warnings, The Pacific Army moved in against frequent and ignorant Adspamming region Underwater Rifts. Despite erecting a wall of psychic energy around the region, scouts for The Pacific Army managed to acquire the password in a display of unmatched cunning:

Quote:

UR Guard: Halt! You need a password to enter this region!
PA Trooper: Ok....what is it?
UR Guard: 170101! But don't tell anyone!!
PA Trooper: Thanks...do you mind if I bring my friends?
UR Guard: The more the merrier!!

Of course, this was rendered a moot point when the delegate decided to remove the password. The Pacific Army then moved in, in order to exact retribution for over-long adverts and poor grammar. There were outbursts from other hypocritical userite regions, but the most entertaining display came from members of the region The Dark Side, a region consisting of 2 WA nations and what appears to be around 18 puppets so that the two real people don't get lonely. TDS have also had run ins with The Pacific regarding the 8 line rule, whining about it until mod intervention shut them up. The Pacific Post has managed to acquire the following interview with a member of this 'great region': "You better get out, or I'll hit you with my lightsaber! And it will HURT too, cause it's real plastic!" The interview was cut short after the interviewee started waving it in the reporters general direction, and ended up knocking themselves unconscious. So it probably would hurt.

Meanwhile, there were attempts to find a diplomatic solution, as shown in the following Telegram sent to Emperor Moo-Cows with Guns:

Quote:

I'd like to ask you about the invasion of Underwater Rifts as supposedly ordered by you? I apologize on behalf of the region for recruiters breaking your rules relating to recruiting. I can guarantee you that if you are willing to call off the invasion and we work diplomatically the recruiters will be replaced ASAP and all region approved recruitment messages will be in accordance with your rules. I hope we can work through this diplomatically.
Slovalia
Foreign Minister of Underwater Rifts Pre-Invasion

However, these talks were swiftly curtailed by the majority of others within the region, who responded with threats and insults . Moderator intervention resulted in one of the perpetrators being deleted. As such, it has been decided that the region shall be burnt to the ground, as an example to all those who dare cross The Pacific. Pacific Army Troopers have been seen purchasing large amounts of marshmallows, although it may be difficult to burn something under the sea.

Note that all of this is fabricated and not based on (much) fact

Fairness is a concept created by the weak to compensate for their unfortunate disposition.

Another "brilliant" joke from Flem. Krull is so much better at this.

Everything's better, down where it's wetter, under the sea.

Kandarin should just implode from the sheer ridiculousness of it all.

I mean, no nation could ever sustain that many contradicting belief systems and still exist.
