Why So Serious?![]() Gates needs to turn that frown upside down. Embassy Row, Francograd The Pacific June 14th 2008 After having a bad day, Gates has finally decided to close down Gatesville's embassy in The Pacific and effectively declared war on its former ally. After a spate of questionable declarations of war against various regions, including Taijitu, Catalandatopia, and the alliance The Neo Genesis Movement, the Pacific Post has to ask the important question: What's wrong Gatesy? "Nothings wrong!" was the answer snapped back, as Gates thumbed through his well worn Index on NS regions. "It has nothing to do with the fact that Darkesia's chocolate workers are on strike, dwindling my chocolate supplies, nor the fact that the writer's strike has delayed several of my favourite TV series and films! I am not taking out my frustration by declaring war on regions at random! The very suggestion is ridiculous and slanderous!! Ooh, Doomsville, that looks a good one, can we declare war on Doomsville? We can't?? WHY NOT?!?!" Of course, the allegations are indeed ridiculous. Everyone knows that any striking Darkesian chocolate workers would be shot immediately. Meanwhile, other regions have started to take notice of the declaration, including the aforementioned Neo Genesis Movement. The Movement has approached The Pacific with offers of an alliance, despite one of their member regions invading the Pacific unprovoked (See The Pacific Post 14h Ed. for more details) and criticising The Pacific about the re-education of Underwater Rifts. In fact, one of the demands of the proposed 'alliance' was that UR be handed back to the Natives under the NeoGenesis Movement's 'support'. This has provoked strong reactions from citizens of The Pacific, and a rather loud mob congregated outside the Embassy Hall where the talks were taking place. The Pacific Post has obtained exclusive coverage of the protests, found here. ![]() Pacific Citizens show their concern against talks with the NeoGenesis Movement. Some questions, however, remain unanswered. Will Gates continue with his apparent rampage of war? Will NeoGenesis take a hint? How much is Krull being paid to advertise various Summer blockbuster films in his reports? As usual, The Pacific Post leaves its readers to come to their own conclusions. Now, this reporter is off to swim in his large pool of money. ---- Written by Krulltopia Writer of The Pacific Post - If We Didn't Write It, It's a Lie! Copyright 2008, The Pacific Post.
