A young Westwind (far right) and MiniNeeNee (Centre) encourage you to join the sweet embrace of the Collective.

The West Pacific
2nd August 2008

Once again, The West Pacific is the epicentre of a scandal that will rock NationStates harder than a Rammstein concert. This time, however, the participants are harder to find, as they could be anyone...even you.

"It is quite simple" says WestWind, the self-declared leader of the 'Collective of the Five', who is already well known for his multiple roles and names. "Everyone knows there are only five people who control the majority of NationStates. The others will enter our blessed convalescence soon enough, as will everyone. You are like children, playing this game incoherently and irrationally. But we can help you. Join us."

After backing off very slowly before breaking into a discrete run, this reporter decided to seek out conflicting opinions on this matter.

"Those damn weirdos!" frothed Tresville, adjusting his carefully crafted tinfoil hat. "It's 'cause of that glitter, u know. And those sweet, sweet cookies. That's how they get in ur head. The glitter ensnares the senses, and the cookies are dosed with their mind spores. Well, they ain't gonna get me! Do you know what they are?? Raiders, that's what they are! I'm going to give them what for, u hear me? U HEAR ME?!!"

Naivetry of Equilism gave us this intriguing peace of insight into why people are so reluctant to join the Collective. "They meddle. People don't like to be meddled with. They tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. They're in their homes and in their heads and they haven't the right. They're meddlesome. "

Naivetry of Equilism can explain why the Collective are so distrusted. She can also kill you with her mind.

As for the Pacific Post we welcome our new lords and mistresses and hope for a new age to NationStates. Long Live the Collective!

P.S Thank you for the cookies, Mistress NeeNee

Note that all of this is fabricated and not based on (much) fact

Fairness is a concept created by the weak to compensate for their unfortunate disposition.

Another "brilliant" joke from Flem. Krull is so much better at this.
