Essentially, what this is is an attempt at keeping regional spam between the feeders and their respective RMB's at bay. If adspammers can't hold by the NS rules, which state one recruitment ad per feeder region per twenty four hours, there should be some protocol by which we handle these rule breakings. This topic shall be used for both identifying 'repeat offenders' and noting which feeders have adopted this policy. Definitions A repeat offender is a recruiting nation who breaks said recruiting rules. The rules for recruiting, according to the One-Stop Rules Shop are as follows:
Note, this does not mean recruiting nations can't post in the RMB of feeder nations, but that they can't post an official recruitment message shorter than the timeframe determined by the mods. Offenders Offenders shall be placed in this list and a telegram sent to their nation, directed to this thread, stating their offense. Repeat offenders will have their nation blacklisted from feeders which are member regions of this decree. Further offenses will have a notification of the NS mods. If offenses are 'far from each other' in terms of date and / or frequency, these consequences may be lifted. Acceptance To accept, the delegate of the said feeder nation needs to place "member of AdSpam Watch" or a facsimile thereof in their world factbook entry. It would be appreciated if they'd come over and announce it as well. |

I'd also like to add that violators of regional ad rules will end up on the blacklist, too. TNP is proud to be a founder member of the scheme! |

Couldn't you contact the mods right away? It's technically their business. |

I refer you to my above post, Kandarin; it's not just for breakers of game rules. Posting horrendous ASCII art and page long ads are not against game rules, but they are very annoying and against many regional rules. This scheme exists as a unified method for dealing with those who violate regional rules as well as game rules. |

No, but having a region called [The East Pacific], [East Pacific], or East Pacific, is definitely against the rules by their statement of rules. |

The first violator is on there for breaking TNP's ad rules, the name of the advertised region is irrelevant. |

Note that it is not legal to advertise in copycat regions like "West Pacific", Doesn't say anything about where the advert is for it to be illegal. |

I don't follow. The scheme is for feeders. |
