GIRO
Global Inter-Regional Order

The Next Generation in NationStates Public Forums

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to GIRO, or the Global Inter-Regional Order, the next generation in NationStates Public Forums. GIRO is a massive inter-regional concept which attempts to bring together all regions of various backgrounds through many different programs, organizations, and features, which exist no-where else on NationStates. GIRO is the most advanced public forum NationStates has ever seen.

Prior to GIRO, there was NationStates Public Forums (NSPF), which was also created by the nation, Romenoch, as the games first publically controlled, publically managed, and publically contributed forum for the game NationStates. NSPF came into existance during a time when NationStates was at its lowest point in activity, and dispite the lack of confidence in the success of NSPF, NSPF became very popular and hald a high reputation throughout much of the NS world. GIRO was born nearly a year later, in January 2009 as an advanced version of NSPF, with new features, and new ways of interacting with other players from around the world.

Today, GIRO stands as NationStates largest public forum complex in the game. It has many features which attracts many different types of people, and the people use these forums for whatever political means they wish to accomplishe, whether it is reading the daily news, finding qualified allies, participating in economics, or contributing to GIRO.Wiki, there is something here for everyone.

THE GIRO OBJECTIVES
1. To establish a community of NationStates Players from all regions which use the GIRO features to better their own region, alliance or themselves.

2. To provide players of NationStates with the most advanced, most updated, and most accurate and efficient playing style, by opening up the whole world to them on one forum.

3. To maintain ease and efficiency here in GIRO, so as to not confuse players, or over-complicate our first two goals.

Unpleasant past behaviors on the part of the people who ran the NSPF lead me to advise against any involvement with this project.

Kandarin should just implode from the sheer ridiculousness of it all.

I mean, no nation could ever sustain that many contradicting belief systems and still exist.
