Alright. While I'm loathe to throw up anything that takes a super-majority given the semi-inactivity of the Chamber, I suppose the worst that could happen is that it gets shot down, so...

I'd like to propose an amendment to the Concordat. Before I put up technical language, here's my general thought: we should replace the term "resident" every time it is used with the term "nation," so that there is legal clarity (both nation and resident are currently used). And we should rename the rights section "Rights of Nations" instead of "Rights of Citizens," so that every nation in TEP is protected, not just those that have ratified the Charter.

Thoughts?

I agree that we should do this. I motion for these changes in order to protect the rights of the nations of TEP.

This confuses me.

What about the citizen residency requirement for government officials?
Ratification of Concordat citizenship requirement?
Limiting voting to citizens?

Changing "resident" to "nation of the East Pacific" would not alter that requirement as "of the East Pacific" implies residency. It'd merely create uniform language on the subject within the charter.

This would have no effect on that, either. You'd still be required to ratify the Concordat -- we'd just be changing "resident" in that clause to "nation."

Again, this change would not effect this requirement, as this requirement is laid out in Articles A and B not E and F.
