The only thing that I saw that the various laws lack, is that from what is visible to me: although the region has various allies who can help in case of threats to the region, and we have ties with many other regions, there is no official way that they can authenticate who is the rightful delegate in an emergency. It is my opinion we should draft a notice for ally regions that includes links to our law process, in the event that they should fall into confusion as to who is the rightful delegate or vizier. This should also include the current date of the notice in case they have a copy of the notice given prior to later changes in policy. That being said, it may be unnecessary depending on the answer to these questions: How do the viziers remove the power of the delegate? Have the viziers ever not been able to do that? |

You may want to haul Todd or some of the viziers who have been around a while into here to answer those questions. Send them a PM and/or send them a TG. |

I am reluctant to specifically legislate that situation (unless they think that it is needed).
If the seat is taken by invasion, they can work to take it back (TG campaigns, etc). If they believe that a sitting delegate is treasonous, they can do the same (the viziers vote). This body and/or the Conclave must confirm the action. (They are still bound by in-game realities - so current endocounts/influence levels would make such action almost impossible, but I don't expect that situation to occur as long as the current office-holders are around.) |

Well, that's what I figured, but the laws themselves don't actually specify how they would do it. If everyone is confident that the viziers cannot fail and are efficient enough in all possible scenarios, then that's true, there is no point to further legislation. I just thought it would be good to cover all the bases. |
