The Pax is the expert here. Let me know if you want anything else. Some of my recommendations are a little ecchi though. http://www.batoto.net/comic/_/comics/monster-musume-no-iru-nichijou-r4280 http://www.batoto.net/comic/_/comics/akb49-renai-kinshi-jourei-r718 http://www.batoto.net/comic/_/comics/himitsu-no-akuma-chan-r22 Currently reading. |

ironically enough ecchi makes great drinking games, tho if you do nose bleeds it can hurt after a while. Monster Museme answered my question of does a naga wear panties rather fast, pretty funny. |

I am a Hero Very very interesting, kinda dark and creepy but pretty cool Description: Hideo Suzuki is a thirty-five year old mangaka assistant struggling to be the hero in his own life by breaking back into the lime light with a new serial all the while juggling his relationship with his girlfriend and his own delusions. However, as hard as Hideo may try, the world seems to have a different set of plans for him; sinister and dark machinations that completely overturn his reality as he knows it. Holy crap i thought it was just a semi depressing drama, but no... Its good, there is a virus of some kind. Very good. Edited by heronlord, Mar 16 2013, 08:39:28 PM.

Yo, I'm a friend of heronlord, and as the forum let me make an account and technically not having a nation doesn't seem to be against the rules I read I thought I would join the anime discussion! Lately I've been on a bit of an action/comedy oriented shounen kick. Currently I am revisiting To Aru Majutsu no Index - which is about a guy protecting a girl who has a bunch of forbidden magic texts in her head. He has the power to nullify any magic/esper/divine abilities with his right hand. Fairly, entertaining. I watched a good deal of Sakura-sō no Pet na Kanojo with heronlord when he came to visit me, and I second all recommendations for that. Very good. I'm also keeping up with Hunter x Hunter (2011) because that series is sweet. I also wanted to recommend a couple shows that I enjoy that I didn't see mentioned in the thread Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei - About a super depressed teacher, and an unstoppably cheerful student. It is quite amusing. Animation style is neat, and it is quite fast paced in terms of rapid cuts and speed of the dialog. In fact a lot of how it is done reminds me of Bakemonogatari (another great show, but less comedy oriented more supernatural/psychological, but still rather amusing). Welcome to the NHK - About a NEET/Hikkikomori who meets a strange girl who tries to help him. Bit of a dark romantic comedy. I liked it a lot, and quite a bit of it really resonated for me at the time. Chihayafuru - Anime about a girl who loves playing karuta, sort of like any standard sports/game anime where the characters go to competitions and such, but the relationships and character development in this one are great. anyways, enjoy as I have been enjoying other suggested animes in the thread so far, its the least I can do to give some more back to you guys. Also, Hi heronlord ![]() |

un,it should be fun. Also I just remembered an amazing anime I forgot to include in the list of suggestions. Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei - It's a psychological comedy drama. The animation style is a bit weird, but the story is amazing. It's also only 11 episodes which makes it quite good for a quick watch. |

Welcome! No, you don't need a nation to be here. See, BAM you have a passport. Enjoy the forum. As a Pax update! Anime- Druaga series. It is ok. Not what I am used to, but still ok. Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru (OreShura) Here we go. THIS is what the Pax likes. Harem comedy full of cliched topics. Manga- AKB49 - Renai Kinshi Jourei. A parody of AKB48... Kind of. I can't recommend it, but I can't seem to drop it either. BONUS!!! http://animestl.net/ |

Hmmm if it is harem anime you like I watched a good one recently. Nobuna no Yabou (The Ambition of Oda Nobuna) - A modern day highschool student who loves history games is transported back in time to the sengoku era. He finds that all that all the warlords are replaced by young girls and uses his knowledge from the history games he loves to help guide them along the correct course. |

Nice. I just finished a couple of really good Anime's. Steins; Gate: It's a time traveling Anime with a unique twist, the actual time travel involves messages to the past via text's. This Anime also invokes the butterfly effect, meaning that any action, even a tiny, minute action could dramatically change the future. It's one of the better anime's that I've seen. 9.5/10. Definitely worth picking up. Ergo Proxy: This one is tough to explain. There is quite a lot of philosophy, sociology, and references to obscure gods/ cultures. 7/10. Get's confusing pretty quickly. Another: "In 1972, Misaki, a popular student of Yomiyama North Middle School's class 3-3, suddenly died partway through the school year. Devastated by the unexpected loss, the students and teachers behaved like Misaki was still alive, leading to a strange presence on the graduation photo. In Spring 1998, 15-year-old Kōichi Sakakibara transfers into Yomiyama's class 3-3, where he meets Mei Misaki, a strange student whom their classmates and teachers seemingly ignore. The class is soon caught up in a strange epidemic, where its students and their relatives are caught up in mysterious deaths. Learning these deaths are related to the Misaki of 1972, it is up to Kōichi and Mei to discover the cause of these mysterious deaths and figure out how to stop it before it can kill them." 8/10. I got lazy
