Hey guys, long time no talk and all that jazz.

I see I missed a bunch on the zetaboards conversion, glad to know it's going to happen.
Sorta sad to see that RP has been kinda dead, but i guess I haven't helped change that too much myself either, but I am glad to see that the government is pretty hopping from the quick glance i took.

So, I found out my nation CTE'd and fixed it: here is what I have been doing lately to be so busy.

American Eagle has been sucking up my time hardcore like, I feel like I am being taken advantage almost doing the work of several different people and getting payed almost nothing for it, they picked up the ground handling contract for United's express flights and frankly they cannot be handling it any worse staffing wise. So that translates into me working over the part time hours I was supposed to be getting so that I can focus on other things, such as a proper career n'at.

Proper career wise I feel as if I have crossed a threshold here. About a week and a half ago I was graciously given the opportunity to interview with the kind dudes at Pittsburgh International's Control Tower/TRACON. By interview I mean we bs'ed for a good two and a half hours about controlling and what it offers to it's employees. Last week I got an email stating I should complete a few forms so that I could be forwarded my Temporary Offer Letter, so I am glad to say I am now in the pre-employment phase of becoming a trainee air traffic specialist in the Federal Aviation Administration, somewhere in the great state of Alabama. Roll Tide :3

However, to put a damper on that exciting for me news, with the fiscal cliff a few feet away the pundits are rumoring that the FAA and TSA could be facing cuts should we U.S. Americans careen off the edge, I am hoping and praying to Jesus, (who just celebrated his birthday not too long ago, happy birthday Jesus) not something I usually do too often, that the cuts are for everybody but me.

If all goes well I hope to be at the FAA academy in Oklahoma City, OK by mid to end next year and in Alabama (Roll Tide) sometime after that, in the mean time it looks like I am stuck with Eagle unless I can find another job.

So this is why I have suddenly disappeared from TEP again, I do find it hard to come and make any sort of contribution here and I did take on responsibilities I shouldn't have, though I do wish to make the excuse that things have changed quite rapidly for me in the last few months, such is life for us twenty somethings or other. :3 Though I think I may be preaching to the choir when it comes to the illustrious membership of TEP on that matter seeing as how we have space chemists, lawyers and school teachers prowling these forums. ;)

I don't wish to permanently disappear and this is not a good bye, but rather an update on my life as it is now. To our new guys, hello and welcome. To our old folks, keep in touch I am on AIM/MSN, though I am logged in all the time, I am hardly there half of that but I am not that hard to get a hold of and I do like the conversation however brief it may be. I will also try to do the same with varying degrees of success.

Greetings from the MTX side of AMR. You are not the only one doing the work of three people, that is getting to be fairly common.

Good lord, at least Expressjet had the courtesy to properly schedule at minimum staffing levels. Eagle here will schedule one ramp agent in the morning with two flights going out within 15 minutes of each other. The shift lead, ops and I pick up the slack whilst also doing our own shit.

I don't know how they even expect to keep the United contract in PIT the way things are going, I have never been more embarrassed in my entire life.

AA and US Air, oh god this merger is going be gloriously bad. The best part is the Eagle guys here think this will be the best thing ever, they will make Eagle a big part in PIT or something like signing everyone on into a new mainline op and everything will be hunky dory. Yet all the old Continental Express guys who signed on with Expressjet and then Eagle after XJT gave up ground handling are laughing at them.

The faster i get out of the airline biz the better methinks.
