“Don’t you mean,” Velhanz switched to using his native language, “Oppai?”

He chuckled a bit, “Harumi also has large… bust, you know. I can feel them on my back whenever I carry her.”

Wait. What the hell am I doing…

Hjalmar’s grin widened, “Good for you then. You got a wife or you still a little virgin? I already have a son from my wife and another child on the way from her.”

“A wife? H-hah… I’m only 24… Who needs a wife at age 24?..” Velhanz laughed nervously and looked at the gaping hole below.

Wait just a minute. Melor is married… Hjalmar is also married… Am I the only male in our group that hasn’t gotten married yet?!

Soon, Harumi came in and greeted the trio. “Hey Sarah, Hjalmar, long time no see…” She then walked past Hjalmar and kneeled down behind Velhanz, using his shoulder as a head rest. Velhanz, let me use you for a bit…" Velhanz’s eyes widened and his face turned red. I can feel them pressing against me… His hands twitched oddly and his mouth was open as if he wanted to say something. She smells good too… ghh… This is… T-this is definitely too much for me to handle. Velhanz started to laugh weirdly, and make weird hand motions. He lifted his head and this time, looked upwards. Harumi is truly the best!

“Something wrong, Velhanz? You look like you’re going insane…” Harumi noted.

Hjalmar barely contained his laughter as Velhanz got immensely embarrassed as Harumi pressed into his back and laid her head on his shoulder. “Anyway. To answer your earlier question Velhanz, I married her not too long after graduating. My father thought it was time I got a wife and I agreed with him. I chose to marry Augusta Zharkov, the youngest daughter of Viktor Zharkov, Duke of Yoria and our Minister of Foreign Diplomacy. It wasn’t completely random though, as she and I had been, in love I guess you could say, even before I left for Shiro.”

After sitting down for a little, Melor shook himself angrily.

I am such a chertovskiy idiot. What happened happened, and I will live with it my entire life, but I won’t become some feeble idiot rendered worthless because of survivor’s guilt.

Carefully, he removed the exoskeleton, and using the bench for support, he rose. Stumbling slightly at first, Melor was satisfied that his legs’ weakness had mostly worn off. After nodding reassuringly to several concerned passersby and wobbling slightly, he straightened his back.

I am Commander Melor Dementyev. I am a faithful husband, an officer of the miltary, and loyal to a fault.

“And I have had it with my self-pitying idiocy.”

There was a glint in his eye as he softly spoke these words. He felt… stronger, somehow, as if the crushing weight of the world had just been removed from his shoulders.

“I-i’m fine…” Velhanz said to which Harumi continued on with resting her head on his shoulder. He then addressed Hjalmar.

“Seriously? A wife at 22 years of age? That’s royalty for you… So when did you two start loving each other, hm? Elementary? Middle school?” Velhanz looked around to find some of the repairmen wondering why an officer aligned with a SEPC nation was so friendly with someone from the FPA. He gestured for them to get back to work and they did.

Sarah blushed at their talking and feigned not noticing their discussion. “Oh, hi Hjalmar.” She said, ‘noticing Hjalmar for the first time.’ “How are things?”

“So when did you two start loving each other, hm? Elementary? Middle school?”

Hjalmar shrugged, “As far as I remember, she was the one that had a crush on me originally and I went with it. If I remember right, it was around when we were 14. Can’t complain though, because she was the prettiest girl in school,” Hjalmar grinned.

“Oh, hi Hjalmar. How are things?”

Hjalmar turned towards Sarah as he heard her voice, “Hey Sarah, long time, no see. Things are alright with me. How about you?”

“They’re all good. Looking forward to the reunion?”

“I’m definitely looking forward to it.”

“What have you done in the last 2 years?”

Hjalmar shrugged, “Stuff. Visited the Asendavian territories on Urth a few times. I got to see old Stromharad and where Asendavia fought with the Vulpines at the western border nearly two hundred years ago. Not much noteworthy stuff other than that, though.”

“Nothing when it comes to Asendavian politics?”

Hjalmar smirked, “I’m smart enough to know not to divulge Asendavian politics to someone else, even if they’re a good friend.”

“Get any media attention?”

“He’s just a crown prince, Sarah. Basically a slight decoration” Velhanz chuckled and listened to some of the repairmen singing “Unsere Panzerdivision”, a popular military march composed by Maksim Knyazev and sung by the Setznan Army Choir. Both of which were apart of the Erich-Aleksander Ensemble, a famed joint military ensemble of Stratarin and Setzna named after the founding composers Erich Helmut and Aleksandr Dimitrievich.

“Never mind about me,” Hjalmar leaned in, “What about you?” Hjalmar turned towards Velhanz, “Correction, I am just a prince. The specific title of Crown Prince would go to my cousin, Alexander. I am actually 5th in line.”

Sarah was slightly amused and slightly alarmed about how quickly the subject had changed. “Well…I was nominated for President, and I won by a large margin. I’m still kinda surprised about it. And it’s hard work.”

“And it’s hard work.”

“Well that’s good, hard work makes the mind work, as my father likes to say,” Helgraf switched to Asendavian briefly and muttered, “And if you’re lucky, it makes their mind weak and tired.”

“Oh? My cousin, the supposed 47th Crown Prince of Ancrad is probably enjoying a free life after being released from the Setznan Federal Prison Complex on Solira” Velhanz looked over at the two of them and Harumi shifted a little.

“I have it easy compared to you two though I still have men and women to lead. Actually, it could be harder and more stressful for me because I have to do actual combat…”
