KNIFEMAN ARRESTED AFTER 6 HOUR STANDOFF.
A man in his 50s has been arrested at a residential building in Pingjing following a 6 hour standoff between him and the police.
Tien Qídùn, who has a history of mental illness, entered the hallway of the Jiātèsēn house with witnesses claiming that he was knocking on neighbour’s iron gates with a knife. Tien then climbed on through the guardrail of the rooftop and threatened to stab anyone who came near him.
A 6 hour standoff between him and police as Tien dangled himself from the roof. Tien was coaxed into returning to a safe position before police restrained him hastily and arrested him for aggravated assault and breach of the peace.

Kashgar leadership candidate Jumyri Andropev has been criticised by a number of fellow Kashgars including rival and incumbent Andrei Yelageen for claiming that all Kashgars should have a rural mindset and that an urban lifestyle is part of Bai Lungese culture.
Andropev is attempting to become the next leader of the Kashgar people following the slaying of predecessor Iffan Omarsk. Speaking to local reporters, Andropev claimed that no Kashgar should live in an urban setting as it is the creation of Bai Lungese residents and adopting urban lifestyle would be tantamount to adopting their culture.

Dr Li Kāngsà has resigned from his position as physician to President Gong Chūrù over policy and personal agreements with the President.

10 people were arrested at a Pingjing market for starting a fight over the purchase of the last lot of moon cakes.
Bao’s BL were selling the last batch of mooncakes unsold during the Mid-Autumn Festival held at Pingjing.
The reduced price attracted the attention of shoppers with 10 people reportedly slapping and punching each other just to get the last moon cakes. The group were arrested by police.

Kashgar youths are likely to be blamed for vandalising the Lu Ban temple in Kyrgyzbari.
The 150 year old temple is widely visited by locals who see it as an important landmark in the mainland. Many residents have called for the government to declare it as a monument.

Niklahs Petrofberg attacked shoppers with the 12 inch knife and slashed many of them in the leg.
Police ordered him to put down the knife and surrender. Petrofberg was fatally shot in the chest when he threw the knife in their direction.

A sanatorium based outside of Turkmenbari has been attacked by Kashgar insurgents.
The attack occurred at around 1500 yesterday when a group of Kashgar insurgents lobbed molotov cocktails and bricks at the Jīnyīng Sanatorium, located 5 miles north of Turkmenbari. The group then fled the scene.
The arson attack lead to the evacuation of the 500 patients and the fire brigade took 6 hours to put out the fire.

A man has been arrested for kidnapping a rare turtle native to Deng island.
Zhang Pānjiā, from Pingjing, travelled to the sparsely populated island in hopes to capture a turtle native to the island. Taking the turtles is illegal but carries a high price tag amongst animal traffickers.
Mr Zhang was confronted by police following a successful capture but attempted to flee from the authorities and was arrested following a brief chase.
