A man has been arrested at 8 Immortals Shopping Mall in Pingjing for filming a prank that has him sliding down an escalator and squirting water at shoppers with a water pistol.
Hong Fēnglì recorded himself with a portable camera performing the sickening stunt. Eyewitnesses say that Hong slid down the escalator 5 times before police intervened and arrested him.
8 Immortals management are considering adding barriers between the two escalators to stop future pranksters from silding between them.

MAN COVERS YING GUO BUILDING IN PAINT; DEMANDS MEETING OF BUSINESSMAN.
A man has been arrested at the Ying Guo building in Pingjing after dousing the front lobby with black paint and demanded a meeting with businessman Chen Bùluò.
Tsai Sàfú poured paint on the floor on the main lobby of the 50 storey building. When security asked him to leave, he reportedly refused to comply and kept screaming out for businessman Chen to come out from his office and meet him. Security restrained him before police took him away.
Mr Chen was not in the building at the time of the incident but released a quick statement expressing his shock at the incident.

Sock factory businessman Chen Bùluò has called for Tsai Sàfú to do unpaid work at the Ying Guo building for pouring paint at the building’s main lobby for an entire year.
Mr Chen released an expanded statement of his previous statement, he called Mr Tsai a ruffian and does not deserve his audience for his despicable act. He called for Mr Tsai to clean the lobby and every floor of the building for an entire year afterwards he will be forbidden from entering the building again.
Mr Tsai has been formally charged for vandalism and will attend the Pingjing Central District court on 5th January.

POLICE THWART VEHICLE RAMPAGE DRIVER IN NEW XINJIANG.
Police in New Xinjiang have thwarted a vehicular rampage by shooting the driver and fatally injuring him.
The driver, identified as Leon Agapoff, drove down San Pao Road at over 80 mph with the intent of running down people at Taichang Market. The market is already heavily guarded prior to the incident leading alert police to open fire at the Kashgar driver, hitting him in the head. The vehicle ultimately careened into an empty food stall.
Following the incident, police have cordoned off the area pending an investigation.

MAN JAILED FOR 10 YEARS FOR SCAMMING BOWLING ALLEY FOR BL$6 MILLION.
A man has been jailed for 10 years for attempting to scam a bowling alley by deliberately jamming his finger in a bowling lane machine and trying to claim life insurance from it.
In October 2023, Pang Kùào deliberately placed his finger in the machine, causing him to lose the tip of his right middle finger. He subsequently attempted to claim insurance but following a review on CCTV footage at Fast Lane Alley in Pingjing, the insurance suspected a scam on Pang’s part and subsequently reported him to the police.
Following a two year trial, Mr Pang has been found guilty of 1 count of fraud was handed a 10 year sentence.

FIREFIGHTERS EXTINGUISH FIRE IN MAINLAND FOREST.
Firefighters in the mainland have successfully extinguished a bushfire in the Changsha Forest in the mainland.
The fire started in the early hours of Sunday morning which stretched 600 metres across the hillside visible from Uzbari.
Extinguishing efforts took a total of 18 hours with helicopters dumping water from low altitude. The Gong Chūrù administration has confirmed the last remaining flames were extinguished by 2200 hour in the same day.

PRESIDENT GONG CANCELS BIKE RIDE EVENT IN MAINLAND.
President Gong Chūrù has cancelled a cycling and meet and greet charity event in New Xinjiang after a bomb threat.
The event, due to held on 18th November in New Xinjiang, is a joint surgery and charity event with President Gong riding a bicycle along with other participants around a 15 km path around the city centre. President Gong would be meeting with constituents after the bike ride.
The bike ride event was cancelled due to several packages were laid out in New Xinjiang Central Park, the starting and finish point of the bike ride. A bomb squad was sent out to destroy 10 packages at the site. It is unknown when President Gong will reschedule the event.

UZBARI COUNCIL IMPOSES PAY TOILETS FOLLOWING SERIES OF ATTACKS BY KASHGARS ON UZBARI RESIDENTS.
The Uzbari have imposed a pay toilet services in many public toilets following a spate of attacks on local residents by Kashgar criminals.
Over a 6 month period this year, there have been over 500 cases of Kashgar criminal gangs dragging locals into the public toilets and beating them up there. This tactic is widely adopted by Kashgars living in the city due to the lack of CCTV cameras outside of these toilets.
Turnstiles have been installed in over 50% of the public toilets, requiring users to pay BL$1 to use the facilities. The council is hoping this will reduce the number of assaults taking part in the public toilets.

The Uzbari council have reported a surge in vandalism on the coin slots that opeate the turnstiles in the city’s public toilets.
The Uzabari police force have confirmed over 100 people have been arrested in a 24 hour period related to vandalising the coin slots which operate the turnstiles of the public toilets. The pay to use service was introduced following a spate of attacks on Uzbari locals being assaulted by Kashgar thugs who use the toilets as a place to committ the crimes. CCTV cameras were also installed to ensure compliance.
In spite of the arrests, there has been a notable drop of assaults in the area.

UZBARI COUNCIL WARNS LIFETIME BAN FOR VANDALS OF PAY TOILETS.
The Uzbari council have warned that people who vandalise the coin operated turnstiles in order to use the facilities for free will be identified and be barred from using them for life.
The stern warning came a day after the Uzbari police force reported over 100 cases of the pay toilets being vandalised in some capacity, mostly through destruction of the coin slots.
The council also warned that those who jump over the turnstiles to avoid paying will also be banned as well.

A 29 year old man has been arrested in the East Point area of New Xinjiang on suspicion of deliberately damaging a fire hydrant.
Alexandre Saveech allegedly smashed the fire hydrant with a mallet multiple times, causing a cascade of water to flood parts of Wang Di Street.
Saveech did not resist arrested but mocked the police and those watching him being taken away.

Kashgar leader Jumyri Andoropev has formally withdrew his support for a Krushtalyovbari based politician for questioning his ability to lead the Kashgar people.
Iosef Stahn, who is considered by some to be a 2028 candidate for the leadership, openly criticised Andropev for being to obsessed with officiating marriages between animals. He suggested that Andropev should be removed from office with someone who is capable of leadership.
Whilst the withdrawal is symbolic, Stahn’s lack of a major endorsement would make his candidacy more difficult, allowing others to compete for the same constituency.

LOCAL FENCER SCARES OFF KASHGAR BURGULARS.
An Uzabari based fencer has scared off a pair of Kashgar burgulars who attempted to steal many of his prized possessions including a trophy for a local fencing tournament.
The bungling pair, broke into Li Wòjīn’s house under the impression he was not inside at the time. Due to bad timing on their part, Mr Li challenged the pair by demanding a duel with them but they fled before the situation escalated.
Speaking to BLCTV News, Mr Li said he thought the break in was some prank made against him and only realised the pair were actual thieves due to them speaking Kashari. He then said he challenged the pair to a duel if they want his trophies. They eventually fled, realising the did not carry any weapons.

MAN ARRESTED FOR VANDALISING PINGJING COUNCIL ELECTION BANNER.
A man has been arrested in Pingjing on suspicion of vandalising campaigns banners for the 2025 Pingjing Council elections.
The individual, identified as 30 year Wang Fuxiá, used a boxcutter to slash 10 banners for 5 candidates in central Pingjing. Mr Wang dropped his knife and did not resist police during his arrest.
Mr Wang will attend a hearing at the Pingjing Central District court on Friday.
