Jiang Huábǎn, the man who attacked commuters at Feng Shui Station in Pingjing has generated a copy cat who attacked a taxi driver in the capital using the same fruit.
CCTV footage shows Lin Màndá having an argument with Wang Mèngzhōng over a fare on Fenghuang Street. Lin appeared to be agitated over this fare dispute and responded by swing a durian fruit on Wang, injuring him in his left arm.
Mr Lin was arrested almost immediately when he ran into Zhejiang Street.

A Pingjing based taxi driver has been handed a 7 year driving ban for acting aggressively on the road.
Yang Sūpà was found guilty of 7 charges of aggressive driving. All the claims were recorded by road users who witnessed his behaviour, one of which included him using his car door to force his way to change lanes.
Mr Yang will need to re-apply for a driving licence following expiration of the ban.

JOGGER ARRESTED FOR ATTACKING ELDERLY MAN ON WHEELCHAIR.
A man has been arrested on Pingjing Central Park for shoving an 80 year old man for blocking his path whilst jogging in Wednesday afternoon.
Soong Báiyǎn had a dispute with Zhang Hǎoguō who was navigating the southern path of the park, noted for its narrow path which is difficult to navigate for wider vehicles such as bikes. Zhang, a retired engineer, was bound on a wheelchair for 5 years due to a fall.
The narrow path aggravated Soong who shoved Zhang aside and continued to run past without further interaction. Mr Soong was arrested 24 hours later.

Soong Báiyǎn, the person who was arrested on Pingjing Central Park for assaulting 80 year old Zhang Hǎoguō has a chequered history of harassing others prior to his latest arrest.
Police conducted a 5 hour interrogation with Mr Soong after his latest incident at Central Park. Mr Soong has admitted to confronting others for slow movement in the capital over a period of 15 years.
Mr Soong is expected to be formally charged on Monday.

The Grand Eternal Jade Hotel has been sold for a BL$200 million after businessman Po Fángfēng announced last year he would cease operations there, citing personal reasons.
The house is 15,000 square feet in size with a 6 bedroom layout and a unique rooftop measuring at 1.000 square feet.
The hotel will operate under new management in 1st December following a hasty refurbishment to reflect the new owners.

Explosives hidden inside fireworks casings were found in a van at central New Xinjiang.
Following an anonymous tip-off, a white Nantong Phoenix 10 was parked in Wenzhou Street. The van had 10 boxes of dynamite hidden inside several fire crackers.
Police confirmed a 20 year old Kashgar man has been arrested.

A woman has been arrested by police after she posted images of herself on IMGBL, trespassing on the Light Rail tracks in Pingjing.
Wang Fēifēi posed on the tracks near Taiping station. A low profile influencer, her main content is primarily travel related and has over 200,000 followers.
Police has warned that trespassing on the tracks is a serious offence and can carry a jail sentence if convicted.

Badminton player Hu Fèiléi has been disqualified from the last 64 round of the BL Badminton Master after he failed a drugs test.
Mr Hu who defeated Lin Kèpǔ by one of the tournaments lopsided victories, a 21-2 scoreline, the BL Badminton Association conducted the mandatory drugs test on Mr Hu and found traces of banned performance substances in his urine sample. Mr Hu will also face a disciplinary hearing and could be stripped of his tour card if found guilty.
Due to Mr Hu’s disqualification, Mr Lin was given a bye to the last 32.

The Pingjing council has ordered the relocation of over 500 traffic police ensuring their presence is closer to every station of the Pingjing Light Rail service.
The move comes days after influence Wang Fēifēi posed on the tracks near Taiping station drawing condemnation from many commuters. Ms Wang was arrested for trespassing.
The council has said police were moved around 10 to 20 yards closer to every station in order to stop copycat incidents.

President Gong Chūrù has threatened to veto a bill which would formally requires all cigarette brands to adopt a standardised packaging in a bid to curb the rate of smoking.
A survey held by the Bai Lungese Society Against Drug Use showed 1 in 10 people surveyed still smoked on a regular basis.
A bill to force all tobacco products to adopt a standardised packaging which includes a ban on “colourful packaging” is currently under debate. President Gong has warned that he will veto the bill, arguing a tax on tobacco is sufficient.

BURST PIPE IN GUIZHOU DISTRICT OF PINGJING CAUSES DISRUPTION.
A water pipe bursted on Tienwu Street in the Guizhou district of Pingjing, causing torrents of muddy water flooding across nearby roads and walkways.
The deluge left vehicles driving through brown water and caused damage to paved tiles on the affected street.
Plumbers and Highway Operatives were sent to the scene to clean up the mess. A timeline to re-open the road for traffic will be announced in due course.
