I thought it was really weird that we recognized TEAPOT but neither the RMB RP community nor Urth, so here we go. This was signed off by the roleplay representatives and then I brought it to the affected communities, who seemed to be of the same mind. I’m looking to do some edits and touch-ups but I don’t expect many people, if anyone, to be against the concept as a whole. I must also note that Wiranath would like to kick your shins. This is unrelated to the topic at hand.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAGISTERIUM OF THE EAST PACIFIC

SECTION I. CITATION

…1.1. This resolution shall be known and cited as the “Resolution Recognizing Roleplay Autonomy”.

SECTION II. FINDINGS

…2.1. The Regional Message Board as a medium for discussion and roleplay has attracted a large number of citizens, which has coalesced into a community of roleplayers under various maps, including the Map of Valsora.

…2.2. The Regional Forums as a medium for roleplay has attracted a large number of citizens, which has coalesced into a community of roleplayers under the Map of Urth and derivative timelines.

…2.3. Both communities have declared a desire for autonomy over their roleplays’ structures and procedures.

…2.4. Neither community has organized in any way that violates the Concordat or any Laws of The East Pacific, including the Criminal Code and the Treason Act.

…2.5. The roleplay community on the Regional Forums is under the full jurisdiction of The East Pacific Administration, itself defined in the Concordat, and the Magisterium has no authority over its structure and procedures.

SECTION III. Resolutions

…3.1. The Magisterium recognizes these communities as part of The East Pacific and supports all their legal actions.

…3.2. The Magisterium declares a desire not to interfere in the structure and procedures of the Regional Message Board Community.

…3.3. The Magisterium encourages the Executive to involve members of these communities in their operations as private citizens and as representatives of their communities’ interests.

…3.4. The Magisterium encourages the Executive to mediate disputes between these two communities unrelated to matters within their respective maps and resolve any related tensions.

Oh wait I never responded to this - What do you mean by trailing segment? And do you have a proposed alternate wording?

I removed the bad wording and just merged 3.3 and 3.4. The new 3.4 is the old 3.5

I didnt comment before and I only voted against now. I know it’s too late, but imho if we say, that we wont interfere in RMB RP procedures etc, we should do the same for Forum RP.

I must reiterate that it is literally impossible for us to do so because Admin leads FRP, something expressed in the resolution.
