So guys time to discuss some of the current events, namely what I want to disuss is _— Begin quote from \_\_\_\__ Obama bowed to the Saudi King, What is your opinion of this event? _— End quote_ So Here is my opinion, I am rather annoyed, you see I understand respecting other cultures I would not have been annoyed if for example he had bowed to the Chinese, or Japanese head honcho, as long as they both bowed to the same depth, as they are supposed to be equals. But with the Saudi culture bowing is a sign of submission, he claims he was reaching for the hand, but in the video you can blatantly see the hand is no where near the ground, he bowed, and then he made up a really pathetic excuse that anyone with a head full of eyeballs can see. And look and the Saudi dudes expression, he was all " WTF:bang: " but he was then all “Sweet!” I don’t completely blame him as some moron in the state department probably told him to do it. But being the commander in chief, he should have known better. The fallout from this is gonna stir in the country for some time. so /TEP/ what do you think? ---

I find a protocol gaffe to be far less unsettling than a seemingly inescapable close relationship with one of the most evil governments on Earth. ---

I want to have my change, not lose it. Honestly, I didn’t like Bush, but at least our enemies didn’t try anything big under him. I have the feeling that they like what they see in this guy. ---

Bush was President of the United States of America. I’m sorry, Todd, this was a big thing our enemies tried while he was in charge. I’m not too fond of the idea of an American President bowing to anyone, but I think we put too much emphasis on some of these things. Presidents have kissed the Pope’s ring. We don’t dip the US flag at the Olympics. We make laws against burning the flag. If we give these objects too much power, then it is easy to use them against us. ---

“Screw you, I’m infinitely more important than you are” would be a good thing how? Good relations between leaders helps prevent wars and other nasty things. ---
