Greeting Statement
Hello, I have decided to try this game out and made the choice to stay in my spawn location (partly since all the other flags are less than impressive) and hope to contribute to this massive group. Aelarus is a small country but we hope to expand and eventually become a player on the global market.
As I haven’t yet added a bio on the website, I’ll make a brief one here:
[spoiler]Aelarus is a bi-product of a fierce civil war between our mother country (as of yet unnamed since I want to get someone else’s country who has stopped playing the game for this role for a bit of legitimacy) and a violent political group. The rebellion succeeded in breaking apart the country into several pieces, one of which was Aelarus. The fledgling country was the battleground for many clashes in the war and as such the nation is still rebuilding lost infrastructure. The country’s extensive digital databases are proving critical in propelling the country back on its feet. Today finds the country hard at work to establish a stable economy to make the most out of the half a million miles of land available to it.
Here at Aelarus we strive for freedom, befitting our motto “There is no Price too great for Freedom.” and are willing to defend ourselves with ex-mother country military tech acquired during the break-up and are already designing state-of-the-art weapons of war to defend ourselves in a changing world. Aelarus may be small, but we are ripe with potential.[/spoiler]
I specialize in art using Photoshop (the actual implementation as art, not simply image editing, though I can do that too), am furthering my skills in After Effects, and can provide general support to anyone who so asks for it.
