The fledgling Federation of the Free Sableshore Territories is, in my view and in the view of my peers, ready to make an entrance into the wider political arena.
My name is Peter Akornicki, the president of the Free Sableshore Territories, and I greet you with pleasure. I am the main representative of the people of FSP, and the leader of the centre-left Liberal Balancist Party. I should probably note that as of today, July 16th 2017, an election is taking place in our nation, and various pollsters predict that Orban Mithridge, the leader of the Centre-Right Territorial Prosperity Party, will take over at the helm of the small-but-homely cruiser that our nation is. I cannot stress enough how much respect I have for him, and I am sure he will make a fine representative. I urge anyone wishing to find out more about our politics to visit our Factbook. Keep in mind it is a work in progress, and thus does not fully reflect the magnificent creativity of our lead researchers and team leaders responsible for keeping the Factbook filled.
But, to keep things short. I have ratified the Constitution of The East Pacific, and am waiting for citizenship to be granted to the Free Sableshore Territories. I am eager to see the FSP elevated to higher and higher positions in The East Pacific, and whether I will actively help it achieve that, or watch from the sidelines, I am confident our brave people will go above and beyond the call of duty.
I bid you farewell and thank you for reading.
Peter Akornicki, President of the Federation of the Free Sableshore Territories, Leader of the Liberal Balancist Party.
Welcome to the East Pacific! I’m enthralled that we have a new member of the region ready for some good old-fashioned http://forum.theeastpacific.com/forum/3552/. I do have to bring you some bad news, however. — Begin quote from ____
Per the ongoing Delegate Nominations, all non-processed applications are SUSPENDED; new applications are CLOSED. All which have not been approved shall be unable to vote in the Delegate Election.
The applications shall be opened immediately after the certification of the Results of the election.
— End quote
Due to the ongoing Delegate elections in the region, for the security of the voting period, you may not be admitted as a citizen. That being said, as the previous quote reads, you will be accepted (most likely promptly) following the election. This aids in the integrity of the election, as I’m sure you understand. We take voter fraud very seriously here.
Otherwise, once you’ve become a citizen, you may join either the http://forum.theeastpacific.com/forum/3569/ (legislative) or the http://forum.theeastpacific.com/forum/3579/ (judicial). Both branches of the East Pacific government are great ways to be of influence here. If you feel as if you may enjoy yourself in either, I recommend that you apply as soon as possible as a citizen.
In the meantime, get to learn the functions of the region and meet some new peeps along the way. Some nice places to do this include http://forum.theeastpacific.com/forum/3531/ and http://forum.theeastpacific.com/forum/3535/.
If you have any other questions, don’t be afraid to ask!

Additionally, here are some rules I gathered a while back: they should help you not get banned or anything like that. I can tell you, although not from personal experience, that being banned from a region is not pleasant.
[spoiler]Just remember these simple rules:
Don’t invade the Caliphate of Pax-Draconica. Just a bad choice overall.
Don’t feed the Fridge Owls.
Don’t try and best Stratarin in terms of corruption.
