Hello all! I recently just found nationstates and thought I would give it a go to see what it was all about. I have a degree in political science and have always been interested in games of this nature, though I am relatively new to anything like nationstates. I only started about a week ago and I’m trying to feel out the in’s and outs of the game, and ins and outs of RP. Both of which I’m extremely interested in. I’ll have to figure out how much time I can devote to everything within the craziness of my life.
I envision Sal Berna (my nation) being a newly minted nation of ethnically similar people, driven into exile from a neighboring, but not too close, county. They value political and social freedom almost to a fault, and cherish a mostly free economy, as long as it doesn’t have a severely detrimental effect to social or environmental welfare. On the other hand their leaders know that a fledgling nation has many enemies, and while keeping their citizens ideals in mind they also know that some temperance is needed if Sal Berna is to survive.
