Since EM is the Space Forces Commander, how about setting up a Southern Command in EM to?

I’ll command Special Forces, if that’s okay.

Submit a high ranking officer to the EAF, and I’ll have you put incharge of the Joint EAF Special Forces and Intelligence Division (EAFSFID)

I would just like to point out that Gnidrah has posted a map of its government complex, which includes the East Pacific Treaty Organization Western Command Headquarters building. You may view it in the National Maps section of the Office of the Regional Cartographer, if you so desire.

OOC: Would the superiors like for me to make a map of the command sectors, just to illustrate the sector borders? If so, just let me know. It will give me something to do.

I actually already made one; I’ve just been too lazy to post it. I’ll make a map soon with members and such. I’ll probably update it every couple weeks.

Shame on your laziness! But good idea, eh? Great minds think alike. Good work.

By the way, I finally made citizen! WooHoo!!! :chittr:

Huzzah! Now why don’t you become a magister in the EP assembly?

Actually, I would like to become a government official for the executive branch. However, my request to the Grand Vizier and Delegate has not yet been answered.

Uh…you made a request to the Grand Vizier…? Oh God…stupid forums, not telling me when ppl have posted to my office…

haha yeah, I did. That’s okay though. I understand.

I’d like to be the base of operations for a EPTO Southern Command

It is a good offer, but I fail to see the need for such a command, I’m afraid. The Southeastern command covers Indonesia and Indochina, while Western handles everything past that region. A southern command would really only include a few Indian Ocean rim nations. however, if you can explain why it would be useful, I’ll gladly consider it.

It makes sense to do so…N, E, S, and W commands. And also to cover our bases and areas of operation. Look at NATO’s commands and how they do it.

We don’t have N, E, S, W. We have NE, SE, and W. It makes more sense relative to the EP’s nation distribution.

Anyone else have thoughts?

Based on the layout of the region, there wouldn’t be much of a Southern Command. The would-be “Eastern Command” is divided into two – Northeast and Southeast Commands. This abolishes the need for a Southern, Northern, or Eastern Command, as it is somewhat a combination of all three. A great number of member nations fall into the Southeast Command, while only one member nation falls into the Northeast Command, and two member nations fall into Western Command.

I only proposed creating a Southern Command because to get to places like EM or Vlad, I’d have to go to the otherside of the EP from IOCOM. By having Southern Command, I don’t have to bypass a command to get to the conflict theatre.

Or, if not create a Southern Command, make IOCOM, Indian Ocean Naval Command, on an equal level as Western Command and the other two commands, under Govindia’s command.
