# Resignation as Arbiter

I hereby resign as Arbiter.

I’ve taken up this position for a long time now, several times.

I believe this institution needs a thorough reform, that goes beyond renewed standing orders.

I’m happy though we could do at least that in last term; a long overdue rewrite and simplification of the Conclave’s procedures, and I leave this position now with a lot of good work done.

But ultimately, the way the Conclave ‘works’, is a reactionary body that is seldom needed but restricts useful people from having impact elsewhere, and I’ll be joining the Magisterium again to serve TEP once more in that capacity.
