How did you find NationStates?
I originally found nationstates a couple of years ago, playing with a bunch of other people on the Metallica forums in a private region. I rediscovered it recently when my younger brother started playing, and I created Cracktopia.
How long have you played NationStates?
For about three weeks.
What inspired the name of your nation?
One of the issues that engages me the most is that of drug policy. I’m apalled by the treatment drug users are given(often penal), and convinced that the war on drugs is https://groups.tapatalk-cdn.com/smilies/52127/1536592186.951-smiley.gif?ttinline=true
and only exacerbates many of the issues faced by drug users, low-functioning addicts especially. I wanted to create a nation where drug users aren’t treated as a lower class of society, and Cracktopia had a nice ring to it.

What country are you from?
I was born and raised in Norway.
Do you like watching the news?
I do watch the news occasionallly, but I much prefer reading properly sourced online news articles. I am a devout sceptic, and I often find journalists to litter their work with their own opinions or interpretations. I much prefer having access to reliable sources.
Do you like studying the government?
I do, and am especially interested in democracy and how in many ways western democracy has deep and intrinsic flaws, such as a severe lack of grassroots participation, and an inability of the people to stop legislation opposed by them. Political debates often revolve more around assigning blame, citing whichever data or statistic is convenient for the debater(regardless of accuracy), and general bickering between parties or candidates for votes, rather than working out solutions to real issues affecting real people.
