Apologies for the late reply, Aiv, I started writing this last night at 1am or so but I was tired and I did want to reply properly.
I understand, but I am aware that the thread is pretty long and we all miss things on occasion. When treading the same ground that’s been talked about before in the thread or when explicitly quoting my answer but misreading, I got somewhat impatient, my apologies.
I’m not sure where you got annoying from (I certainly never said that) - but I do try to give elaborate answers and consider questions before answering them, and there do seem to be quite a few of them (hence a harsh volume). I think I have answered all of them, but as I said, the thread is pretty long and it’s easy to miss things, so if you think I’m not answering a question, please let me know and I will get to it.
That is very unfortunate to hear, though again I’d like to ask where my answers fall short according to you and where your concerns still lie. I truly do hope to answer them best as I can and have no wish to let any mistrust fester.
This is not something I have said. I think Urth should absolutely be engaged in the coming term, but primarily by Recruitment, to constructively work towards boosting Urth’s activity and visibility. I think Outreach’s focus should be on mending the distrust that the RMBer community feels towards the Executive and to better the Executive’s engagement with our RMBers.
I’m unsure of where this interpretation originates but if there is something unclear or unaccounted for, please let me know what you’d like further clarification on and I’ll do my best.
I think this is a misreading of what I said - nowhere did I suggest Urth is lesser or of lesser importance to TEP than the RMB, and I’m confused as to where you got this misunderstanding from. Recognising that the Executive needs to step up its engagement with both in different ways is not favouring one over the other, in my view. I would like Outreach to focus on building trust with our RMBers, and Recruitment to proactively and constructively work with Urth to improve its visibility and give it a boost at a time when it appears to struggle with activity - a struggle which the Executive can, and should, help remedy. Recruitment has started on this in the past term, but late into the term, and there’s a lot more that needs to be done.
