(OOC: lol, Shiro references)
Prime Minister Wilson noted the discussion about the Shiro Academy and asked President Verlhan if it was true that his son was attending.
“Oh no, my son is attending the Setznan Naval Academy right now” He replied.
Getting back on topic, “Thats true… We’re finally gaining ground on Luzen, the rebels are retreating more often. I think their morale broke after the war not progressing for a while.” William replied, sipping his wine glass.
Prime Minister Wilson asked, “Aelita’s greatest concerns is that us winning this war would destabilize the area. How would you prevent this?”

Will pondered, “Hm… Well that sure is a bit of an issue…”
“Aelita knows that the Auroran Military would respond against them if they intervene. Any interference would be via proxy. Scientiam, maybe.” Nimona chimed in.
William looked down at the table, then glanced over at his son who was still talking about Shiro Academy with President Nimona’s wife. Letting out a sigh of relief, he looked back up. “Ok, so what are our options here? If we take over the Line, the war may be a lost cause for them.”
“We have got to press forward full force.” Nimona said confidently. “A clean victory, and can both defeat the UIRF and dissuade Aelita from stepping in.”
He nodded, “I agree. At this point, I think that the allied flotilla should support TF60 in the fight against the enemy fleet and then proceed to support ground troops on the Line.”
In the ocean, TF60 was already engaged in combat with the rebel fleet. Going up against a enemy that was sent into combat without much training, the detachment suffered minor injuries. One destroyer was immobilized and was quickly undergoing battle repairs. The 11 inch guns on the Normanza rang out as they fired. One shell would rip through a captured Alexandria class’s missile launcher and cause the loaded missiles below it to explode. The bow of the ship was blown to bits and the ship would start to sink. The Normanza started to reload, firing four tomahawks at the enemy fleet as it picked it’s next prey.
“Our fleets standing by. All we need to know is where you want us” Nimona stated plainly.
Prime Minister Wilson said, “I’m not sure if pushing the flotilla past ‘The Line’ would stabilize the area, which is Aelitia’s goals. If we want it to end quickly though, we have to push.”
“How about we cripple their navy and then push straight towards Dolitz? Without a Navy to support their boots on the ground, we could pound the Line with continuous fire support.”
“Or,” He contemplated another idea, “Pull out all of our troops from the Line and commence a swift amphibious attack on Dolitz. Dolitz has some very nice beaches to the south east of the city.”
“I’ll have my forces soften them with aerial attacks. If Tetridian and Setznian forces can coordinate a powerful enough amphibious assault, we could end the war in a week.” Nimona sipped her glass of water, and laid down her fork to take a call.
“Excuse me.”
William would continue talking with the Prime Minister, the drink in his hand went from wine to Schanz & Co. Brewery Scotch.
“What!?”
Nimona strode back into the room, fists balled and her teeth grinding. “So this just fucking happened.” She pulled a small rounded metal square from her pocket and set it on the table.
Upon hitting a panel on her phone, a holographic screen appeared over the square, and displayed the perforated hull on an Emberwood Coast cruiser. The scorched paint on the side advertised the name, UNV Polaris. It lay slanted on a reef, and small figures unloaded munitions and supplies from the derelict onto an island.
“They’re getting brazen. This was three minutes ago. Sixty people on board, my ships found four survivors!! How did they get firepower like that!?” She gritted her teeth and tried to keep her voice level.
William’s eyes widened, “What the fuck? The only thing that could’ve done that is some railgun out of science fiction. As far as I know, neither side doesn’t have that technology at the moment.”
“My Defense Minister once half-seriously proposed using ICBMS (with conventional explosives instead of… you know). Also, has any technologically advanced nations backed the UIRF? They shouldn’t have that firepower. Maybe dispatch recon teams to find the source of the firepower, and then missiles and bombs can destroy it.”
“Here.” The hologram changed to show technical information alongside the destroyed ship.
“Artillery Rounds. High explosive. The blast pattern gives it away.” Stated a dry voice from square. A discussion of strategy seemed to taking place within the geometrical chunk of brushed metal.
“Were there any Setznan arms depots on other side the line? Is there anything else they use against like this?” Nimona asked.
“Now that you say that, the only ship in the area that would’ve been able to cause that damage is the Normanza with it’s 11 inch guns. That would be the answer unless they have captured ships somewhere…” William pondered for a while, his eyes widening as something clicked in his head.
“Shit… They have control of Concord NAB and SINCC, that means- Oh shit” William leaned back into his chair and rubbed his forehead.
“They have a captured Normanza class, two of them were being built at Concord NAB. They probably have some of our classified projects as well…” he sucked in air through his teeth and looked down at the table.
“How do we shut them down?”
“So, should they be destroyed?”
