Why for that? you may ask?
Well it is simple, Curving a Bullet in Impossible and sure it looks dumb and sounds dumb when you think about it, but now you have kids claiming they can do it. Yes I have heard a kid claiming he could swing his arm so fast a 9mm bullet was made to curve around an object and hit the intended target behind the obstacle.
Carp, first Neo had them claiming they could dodge bullets and now that moron Angelina Jolee has them saying they can violate physical laws.
No disagreement from me, but I’m curious about the strong sense of outrage. People say (and believe) all sorts of crap, all the time. Why so angry about this one?
I haven’t seen the movie or the comic book. Is this the only non-believable element in it?
I usually just ignore that kind of stuff, but I decided to make a post about it to get it out, you know letting that stuff build up is bad for ya and all, but mainly because I hate stupid folks who wallo w in their stupidity and dont try to learn .
After I posted, I did a google search for “why bullets can’t curve” and was astonished at the amount of people either claiming a bullet can curve just by swinging a gun or claiming they were going to try it to find out.

There actually was an episode on curving bullets, but it involved magnetism, ie, they proved that a bullet’s path could be affected by a magnet due to the pull or something.
would have to be one hell of a magnet cause a bullet is lead and usually a copper core, handgun bullets are very rarely steel jacketed or cored

Very true. I got it off a friend who happened to look over my shoulder as I was looking at people saying they could curve bullets. Might have to start watching MythBusters.
They used this line of industrial grade magnets to effect the course of a special steel bullet by about a centimetre. Needless to say, James Bond they were not.
