I’d be really interested in this… but how do the main forums handle non-human characters, lol? I mean, would it be okay if my nations competed?
It’s NS Sports, not International Incidents - where you might have people who are bit more of sticklers on that kind of thing. One of the community’s most prominent members RPs a nation of LOTR-style elves, and one regular at the Olympics is a nation of sapient bears.
You might not think it at first, but sports RP is one of the most fun and vibrant parts of the forums right now. By and large people RP stories directly about their athletes, teams, news reports on how the match or event went, etc. but the possibilities are endless and many of the more established RPers often go in some interesting directions. The World Cup is generally the centrepiece of the scene and sees some epic RPs - Candelaria And Marquez’s are always a particular highlight.
Alright, sir. I will have Vekaiyu and Listonia sign up. And don’t worry, I’m not going to make them gods among men as far as their skills go. I’ll adjust it to the vulpine body type, which means they’ll get destroyed in weightlifting, pounded in boxing, and will probably look more like the Washington Generals vs. the Harlem Globetrotters when it comes to basketball. But, I think they’ll do well in aquatic events, and running and stuff. shrugs Don’t know
I think Vekaiyu’s ready to go! But I’ve decided maybe it’d be best if Listonia didn’t compete… mostly for OOC reasons - I don’t know if I can (and should be able to) hold two nations, so yeah, lol.
