HEAR YE, HEAR YE The Viceroy/Election Commissioner - after forgetting how to do basic math last night - comes before you to announce the results of the February 2026 Delegate Election

Yes, you heard that right. Ya boi couldn’t do math for an hour last night. Granted I was fighting a migraine and the text on the screen did blur at one point. but enough about me, you know what is more important?

DELEGATE ELECTION RESULTS

So without further ado, i present the results that are now correct, I swear they are the most correct. I will even provide a read-only copy of the sheet I was using if people want to view it.

As a reminder, our candidates are:

  • Dremaur
  • Sammy
  • American-Cascadia
  • theclockworkvixen
  • HASDER
  • Aurora_Yukihime
  • Marrabuk
  • Cretox

NOTE: votes listed as “ABSTAIN” were not counted in the final vote totals as ABSTAINS - by recent JR Ruling - do not affect final outcome

In ze First Round:
TOTAL VOTES CASTED: 24
QUORUM: 12 (50%)
VOTE TALLY:

  • Dremaur: 11 (45.8%)
  • Aurora_Yukihime: 7 (29.2%)
  • Cretox: 4
  • Marrabuk: 1
  • Sammy: 1

No candidate achieved more than 50% of the vote, so we move onto Round 2 of voting. Marrabuk and Sammy were eliminated as both candidates had the least amount of votes casted for them. (Candidates that did not receive any votes were automatically removed, but in the interest of vote counting they were not counted. Does that make sense?)

In ze second Round,
TOTAL VORTES: 23
QUORUM: 12(52.2%) (round up to the nearest vote, so it went from 11 to 11.5)
VOTE TALLY:

  • Dremaur: 12 (52.2%)
  • Aurora_Yukihime: 7 (30.4%)
  • Cretox: 4(17.4%)

After re-distributing the votes for Marrabuk (none) and Sammy (second choice is Dremaur), we have a winner!

With 52.2% of the votes, @Dremaur has been elected ze next Delegate. Everyone please give a big round of applause for our candidates, to our newest Delegate, and to Democracy! (and also to doing math correctly.)
