BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAGISTERIUM OF THE EAST PACIFIC
SECTION I. CITATION
…1.1- This resolution shall be known and cited as the “Resolution on Legislation Records”.
SECTION II. RESOLVEMENT ON WHERE TO KEEP LAW
…2.1- The Provost of the Magisterium should maintain a subforum within the Magisterium’s subforum. It is recommended that said subforum be called “Laws of the East Pacific”.
…2.2- Within the Laws of the East Pacific subforum, it is recommended that seperate subforums for the Concordat and subsequent Acts, Treaties and Declarations, Magisterial Resolutions, and Repealed Laws be maintained.
SECTION III. RESOLVEMENT ON ADDING NEW ACTS
…3.1- It is recommended that the Provost create a new thread for each new Act within the recommended sub-forum containing the Concordat and its Acts. The first post in this thread should outline the Act in its entirety.
…3.2- It is recommended that the discussion and voting threads, along with the Delegate’s signature if applicable, of the Act be linked at the top of said post.
…3.3- If applicable, the date when a 10-day period passed without Delegate signature of the Proposal, and said Proposal became an Act, should be listed with the links at the top of the post.
SECTION IV. RESOLVEMENT ON AMENDING STANDING ACTS
…4.1- It is recommended that, upon retrieval of an amendment to a standing Act, the Provost should create a new post within said Act’s thread. Said post should outline the amendment in its entirety.
…4.2- It is recommended that the discussion and voting threads, along with the Delegate’s signature if applicable, of the Act be linked at the top of said post.
…4.3- If applicable, the date when a 10-day period passed without Delegate signature of the Proposal, and said Proposal became a lawful amendment, should be listed with the links at the top of the post.
…4.4- It is recommended that the version of the Act in the first post of the thread should be updated with the amendment. The original version of the Act when it was first passed should be kept in a spoiler below the current version.
SECTION V. RESOLVEMENT ON AMENDING THE CONCORDAT
…5.1- It is recommended that the Provost maintains a thread for the Concordat and all its amendments within the recommended subforum containing the Concordat and its subsequent Acts.
…5.2- It is recommended that, upon the retrieval of an amendment to the Concordat, the Provost shall create a new post within the Concordat’s recommended thread. Said post should outline the amended Articles and Sections.
…5.3- It is recommended that the discussion, Magisterium vote, and Citizen referendum pertaining to the Concordat amendment be linked at the top of the amendment’s post. The date in which the amendment passed Citizen Referendum should be included alongside the links.
…5.4- The latest version of the Concordat posted in the first post of the thread should be updated with the amendment.
SECTION VI. RESOLVEMENT ON ADDING NEW RESOLUTIONS
…6.1- It is recommended that the Provost create a new thread for each new Resolution within the recommended sub-forum containing all active Resolutions of the Magisterium. The first post in this thread should outline the Resolution in its entirety.
…6.3- It is recommended that the discussion, Magisterium vote, and Citizen referendum pertaining to the Concordat amendment be linked at the top of the amendment’s post. The date in which the amendment passed Citizen Referendum should be included alongside the links.
……6.4.1- It is recommended that the discussion and Magisterium voting thread be linked at the top of the post containing the resolution, along with the date in which the Resolution came into effect.
SECTION VII. RESOLVEMENT ON REPEALING ACTS OR RESOLUTIONS
…7.1- Upon the repeal of an Act or resolution, it is recommended that the Provost move the relevant thread into the recommended subforum containing all repealed laws and resolutions of the East Pacific.

The resolution requires a simple majority.
Voting begins on June 30th (UTC) and will last a period of 168 hours. It will end on July 7th (UTC).
Voting Choices:
- Vote AYE or FOR if you are in favor.
- Vote NAY or AGAINST if you are against.
- Vote ABSTAIN or PRESENT if you cannot make a decision in good conscience.
It is required that you supply your nation residing in the East Pacific and your World Assembly status, if applicable. If you are currently an active member of EPSA then you are exempt from this rule.
