A change of delegacy in The North Pacific

Nations in the region should take note of this recent change. Only statements from Loop or the Assembly should be considered official.

People, Nations of The North Pacific, you have woken to a new dawn, a new chapter in the history of our great region. Welcome.

I, Insane Power, am at your service as the new Delegate of The North Pacific. Many of you will have pre-conceived ideas and notions of who I am. Many of them I hope that I will address and allow you to reconsider.

First and foremost I am TNP native through and through and I am determined as a patriot of this region to create strength and positivity that we all may enjoy.

I wish to bring peace and harmony to our nations and reunite our warring factions for the benefit of everyone. This will be a task that I will need the cooperation from the leaders of the various factions to help create. I am under no illusions as to the time and energy that will need to be expended to achieve this goal and only time will prove my master.

Today is the first day and there is much to do. Most of you know me and know my commitment to the region. Whether we agree or not is irrelevant. It is how we work to create a glorious future that is important. I ask that nations of the region take a breath from the recent conflicts and consider the seriousness of the region I wish to build jointly with you all.

I will not pander to personal whims or do things just to appease and there are still tough decisions that need to be made. I do not ask forgiveness for having to follow a path that will not always be popular. But understand that I am doing this for the greatness and longevity of The North Pacific.

I will announce firstly a new Ministry and the first stages of new guidelines. This may or may not be a permanent fixture but will exist until I am confident that the right path for our future has been chosen.

I would ask for a period of calm and I declare that I will make the NPC a legal challenge of government. In return I expect their activities to be civil and diplomatic.

Okay folks we’ve done the hard part so let’s lighten things up a bit. Let’s not forget this is a game and hopefully we can all have a good laugh so I’ll race you all to the Nag’s Head Drinks are on me.

Thank you for reproducing my post here.

I hope that I can continue to improve and strengthen our relations with The East Pacific.

Sorry to butt in, but can anyone explain to me what exactly is everyone fussing about in TNP? I understand it.

It’s like the current Isreali-Palestinian conflict. That is to say, it’d take several books, and a host of TV specials to fully explain it. Even then, it might not make complete sense. Such things rarely do to those who don’t know everything, and haven’t been there from the begining.

Bluntly, I don’t understand the conflict myself. And I have been here since the start. Though I was mainly an RPer at that point.

It is indeed a tricky thing to answer your question. At present I could extrapolate on my understanding but we have already had people attempt to bait us to answer the question in a way that would define us as for or against one side or another. Our stance has been and will continue to be one of nuetrality.

Were I to provide counsel to you, I’d suggest that if you want to be actively engaged in foreign matters you speak to me sometim on the instant messanger of your choice and began a practice of reading other regional boards in earnest.
