"Gerald Format, de facto dictator of Tokka Wokka is reported to have died.
"Whilst not being a dictator in the classical sense of depravity, Format kept power firmly within his own hands.
"Format was the archetypal benevolent dictator, under him the country flourished and under his libertarian principles kept everyone happy.
"Format kept power through the legislature, made up of two elected chambers (one proportionally elected and the other by area). After winning a landslide victory fifty years ago Format persuaded the parliament to pass a law stating that only the president could approve candidates for parliament, from then on he only chose people from his inner circle of whose loyalties he could be assured of.
"Format was much loved throughout the country, which is now in a spate of mourning.
"One of the pressing questions being asked now is who will succeed Format in governing Tokka Wokka. Executive power has fallen to the courts for the time being, but somehow a new leader must be chosen for Tokka Wokka.
“In an interview earlier today Chief Justice Aran of Tokka Wokka suggested that the courts would order the overhaul of the entire system.”
