A Historic Legacy
The Accademia has been a beacon of progress in Novaris since its founding in 1071, lighting the way for countless visionaries across nearly ten centuries of scholarship. At the oldest university on Urth you stand shoulder to shoulder with kings, philosophers, and innovators across generations. Oliviero Turchi designed the Ducal Palace of Alcogna, Alberico dei Sarcano invented the radio, and Heanric Wealdgaresunu discovered phosphorus. At the Accademia, you’re next in line. What trail will you blaze under the light of truth?
Explore the Accademia
Centered around the scenic Foro Celano, the Piazza Istagio is the Accademia’s primary learning location, as well as its most historic. From its origins as a single building granted by imperial charter, it has grown to occupy much of the east side of the Foro. Engage in bustling Celano student life by interacting with the many student clubs and organizations the Accademia has to offer. There are over 2700 clubs and student organizations at the Celano campus alone, and each one receives its own unique support from the Department of Student Services.
Experience Celano
In Celano you will be able to experience the sum of two thousand years of history all focused in one place. As the seat of emperors and kings, Celano boasts no shortage of historic landmarks. As a student in Celano you can visit the Templum Lucerum, walk the Via Trionfale, or even take a dip in the iconic Celano Bathhouses. Make sure to enjoy the robust public transportation system in Celano, which you can use free of charge as a student—Celano’s bus system can trace its origins to the Accademia itself, as it was in part created to connect its many locations across the city.
A Changing Novaris
We are pleased to announce that the Accademia Imperiale in Celano is now accepting international students for the first time since 2002, including students transferring from our secondary campus in Solevia. The safety and sanctity of our learning environment has always been our greatest concern, and with the official conclusion of the Tretridian peacekeeping operation, the Secceran Senate has given their assent to a reopening of academic borders.
Note as of September 6th, 2020: While we continue to do our best to create equal opportunities for all prospective students worldwide, potential applicants from Cryria, Völmund, and Volscina will unfortunately remain unable to attend the primary campus for the time being due to diplomatic conflict. Exceptions will be made for citizens of the aforementioned countries should they already be a permanent resident of Seccera. If you are a Cryrian, Völmundian, or Volscine learner outside of Seccera, we encourage you to apply to our campus locations in Lucroza or Solevia instead.
Applications and International Students
Applications for admission are now open, and are submitted through the Accademia’s own web portal. You will need to submit personal information and some information about the major you are applying to in the form below.
Secceran students who have the appropriate entrance examination credentials will not need to submit them. The Accademia will obtain them separately. International students with corresponding entrance examinations will need to have their official records. In the absence of entrance examination scores, secondary school or university transcripts may also be used. Please do not attach scores, records, or transcripts directly to the application.
The Accademia is divided into Faculties, which are further divided into departments. The list of current faculties are as follows:
- Faculty of Arts and Humanities
- Faculty of Engineering
- Faculty of Law
- Faculty of Medicine
- Faculty of Natural Sciences
- Faculty of Social and Political Sciences
Applicants should include both the faculty their prospective major is in as well as the major itself on the application.
Prospective staff should instead contact the Acccademia faculty separately.
