The admin team at times has to make the hard decision on forum staffing. From adding new people to the unfortunate task of removal or doing a shift in their role. These decisions are not taken lightly and can take 1-3 months of discussions before we finalize our decision(s). We’ve decided to be more proactive with forum staffing to better serve the community by reviewing moderator action history to make sure we have the right people in the right place.
Further action(s) to be taken: The masking changes will take place over the next day or so by myself, another admin or global. I have reached out to ASBS, Grey and Bai directly to let them know of this decision and provided the reasoning to them directly.

Explanation: These modification were through the ZB coding community. In Tapatalk Groups this will be a built-in feature with the Reason for Edit and Likes (sorry no Dislikes). They will soon be erased in our migration that will be coming very soon. Just getting a head start on the cleaning up with Reason for Edit.
Further action(s) to be taken: I don’t see any reason to take off any other codes at this time as they will be more seamless with being built-in with Tapatalk.

The Alternate Universe sub-forum has been moved beneath the parent roleplay category of “The Multiverse”.
Explanation:
This move was pursued in order to establish a clear separation between what is considered canon versus non-canon, as well as to provide greater visibility for Alternate Universe roleplay as an alternative for those interested. The opportunity should be present for people to sandbox if they’re either new to the forums or simply do not want to conform to the restrictions of the canon. This sub-forum will be moderated by the community staff at large and is not uniquely delegated to the Roleplay Moderators unless they wish to help. The focus of the latter staff group should lie mostly (if not wholly) on matters pertaining to the canon in the TEP Evolved sub-forum, and we would not want to split their attention.
To echo East Malaysia’s sentiment, we are pushing a “No Forum Left Behind” policy, and as a team we are actively pursuing that goal with decisions like this. Options are invaluable to a community as create and diverse as ours.

It has been brought to the attention of The Admin Team that Sara (Saradania0914) has had misconduct with a minor and is an adult male acting as a female. This is a very serious offense and a permanent ban has been issued as a team of individuals from the forum and Discord teams work together on this matter. An investigation is ongoing and we will try to release more details if we can shortly.
Explanation: It was reported and confirmed that this user has porn spammed Lazarus and Osiris Discord servers. With this new knowledge I rejected their citizenship app and revoked their access to the forum.
Reason: While he was not active here but did have a forum account. To make sure we keep the community in the loop of administrative actions. He was banned in correspondence to his ban from our Discord server for sending unsolicited invites to a private server that had a NSFW channel.
Further Actions / statement: if you have a private server on Discord, sure we won’t prevent you from inviting people, but this is a PG-13 political simulator game and a RP community. If we get wind of a NSFW channel on a private server the above action will be the result everytime. We will not tolerate it.
Explanation:
Elem has a history of causing drama in TEP and NS in general. I’ll start with what was sent out to various users of TEP and NS on November 23rd with the following screenshot.
I won’t cover the lies because they are so crystal clear. I also established that Nick is Elem and Elem is Nick. She’s also probably her “Girlfriend” too but that was already a working guess of mine also.
Then a few days ago Elem came back to TEP with a new nation, new Discord account and it was decided to keep an eye on them and as long as not too much drama then it would be allowed.
Fast forward to the nuclear meltdown of today, Judgement Day, the “Girlfriend,” was going around saying Elem (on Elem’s Discord account) basically a AK-47 exploded in her face.
What’s the truth? What’s the lie? Hard to tell but I would say all lies. It has been the determination that dead people can’t have accounts and impersonation of a dead person is disrespectful and a retirement is in order.
End of the day, it’s all toxic, and that is something we’re not going to tolerate in this community.

Elementia / Brooklyn / Nick / “Girlfriend” will not be allowed into or back into this community.
Recommendation:
Avoid this group of people at all cost. Block them on Discord. Report any sightings to any person of forum staff, discord and regional officers.
Action: Multiple changes to the roleplay section in the coming days.
Explanation: After discussions with the cartographer team we’re going to shift to a different world building process and a major cleaning up. For new roleplayers the team is going to mentor them in each step of the process for their nation creation. Right now the categories are looking like this: Stats, Culture/History, Climate/Species/Geography and we might add design. Cleaner way to do map claims, transparent cartographer voting forum and we’ve been talking about a TEP Evolved Historical RP forum to keep historical and present day separate. As you can tell a lot is going on and I might have left something off but a lot of positive changes for new and old roleplayers a like.
